Feb 06, 2024 Season 2 Episode 17
Erin Schlozman and Ruby Falk

Did you find out the gender of your baby? Did you keep it a secret or tell everyone? Did you start planning accordingly?

Ok, now we have a harder question for you: did you experience disappointment after you found out?

This is a common experience among tons of new moms (and their partners), and just like everything else related to the postpartum experience, it’s layered, and requires a deep dive into the roots of these feelings.

In this week’s episode, Ruby and Erin are going to start that deep dive for you and they tackle things like the origin of the mental load, what your/your partner’s relationships look like with your respective families, and, in the least cheesy and most validating way possible, what it means to “look on the bright side.”

Loving the show? We'd love your feedback!
