You Know This!
Have you felt unprepared for a test? Your palms sweat, your heart races, your stomach hurts, and your brain plays “you can’t do this” on repeat in your head. You just want to get it done so you can face the consequences and get on with your life.
Unpreparedness can cause a lot of confusion and fear, which was just what the false teachers of Peter’s time were trying to spread. And Peter knew this wasn’t going to change after he died. God’s people would always have to face false teachers.
So he gave them an important message that still applies to us today–God has given you everything you need. You can be confident because God is in charge and He continues to give you what you need. Now keep going–practice your faith outside the classroom and watch as He prepares you little by little to face whatever life throws your way.
