Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Richard is joined by ED Paramedic ACP Greg Markham to explore emergency presentations in general practice — and what really counts as an emergency in the primary care setting.
Greg shares a structured approach to recognising and assessing the acutely unwell patient, including practical tools and resources that can support safe, confident decision-making under pressure.
Through case-based discussion, they work through suspected sepsis and acute shortness of breath — covering clinical assessment, immediate management options within general practice, red flags, and when escalation is essential.
A focused, clinically grounded episode designed to support frontline practitioners managing high-risk presentations in primary care.
Enjoy the episode.
