Bud Houston serves as the Director of People Groups Data for Joshua Project, where he helps equip the global Church with strategic, actionable data to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission. A missionary, researcher, church planter, and mobilizer, Bud has spent more than a decade serving among unreached and frontier people groups, helping churches and mission organizations understand where the gospel is advancing and where the greatest needs remain. His ministry has included church planting, disciple-making, diaspora missions, and global research, all driven by a passion to see every people group experience a sustained gospel presence. Today, Bud helps transform missions data into practical strategy, enabling churches, missionaries, and ministry leaders to make informed decisions that lead to healthier disciple-making movements and multiplying indigenous churches.
