Kiara Hartwell Opara is a licensed psychotherapist in Maryland and Virginia and is the owner of KJ Hartwell, LLC where she provides individual psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and clinical coaching services. She is a board approved supervisor through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors, which allows her to provide clinical supervision to graduate level licencees pursuing full licensure in Maryland.
Kiara is an IFS Level 1 trained therapist who specializes in working with adult women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life adjustments. In addition to helping women heal in her private practice, she has started a venture with The Red Tent Collective, a nonprofit organization and a women’s collective here in Virginia Beach, with the goal of providing a safe space for women to heal collectively through conventional and ancestral methods with licensed and certified practitioners.
