Low Back Pain - A Patient Experience

Tracy Karas Season 2 Episode 4

It's something a huge percentage of folks suffer from: chronic back pain, and it's affecting more and more of us on a daily basis. In today's episode, I'm chatting with Trista, who has been managing chronic back pain since her youth, with various intense and debilitating flare-ups.

While a lot of us may choose to ignore the warning signs that signal there might be an issue, this is counter productive in terms of long term health, wellness, functionality, and mobility. Trista takes us through her experiences of living with chronic back pain, and both what aggravates it, and what has proven to be helpful.

Daily movement, purposeful functional movement, self-care, massage, proper form in exercising, and systemic routines of caring for her back have all allowed Trista a greater range of what she is able to do with her body.

A great episode for anyone who is dealing with chronic back pain, and might be looking for new and alternative treatment options for managing pain!
