87. How I’d Make an Extra $3–5K This Month (and Turn It Into Cash on Repeat)

Now let's dive in. hey, welcome back to the podcast, and today's episode is gonna be super practical because I like practical stuff, okay? And I get this question a lot what would you do if you needed to make money fast? No big launch, no fancy funnel, just cash in the door this week, this month. And so today I'm gonna be walking you through exactly how I would do that and how I would turn it into a repeatable system. And I've done podcasts like this before. What I would do if I wanted to make 10 K in 30 days, which you can check out. But this is gonna be just a little more like very to the point. And and if you just need not 10 K, you're not trying to hit like these. Ong Jabong months, but you want to make a few thousand dollars right now, and you wanna potentially turn it into more longer term revenue in a repeatable system down the line. I always do speak a little bit fast, but I've got exactly 30 minutes before I have to go get my baby from my boys. I've assigned them to watch him for one hour, in which case they will get an hour of screen time afterwards. Bribery guys, it works. So there have been plenty of times when I have needed fast cash, right? So maybe before I had a baby. Or after maternity leave and I wanna catch up on some money or mid program creation or a random bill comes up, or we need to buy a new washing machine, which has happened. Actually, no, it wasn't a washing machine. It was a dryer, but whatever. It's fine. And if I didn't have, the time or the energy or the childcare availability for a full on launch, and honestly you really need to prep these kind of things ahead in advance. So we don't want something super fancy. Instead of panicking, okay, I would go to my digital drawer, right? My Google Drive, my old trainings, my courses work I've done with clients, and I would ask myself, what can I sell quickly? That will give people a win now. Okay. And so I'm gonna walk you through how to do this so you can audit your business a little bit and see what you can turn into cash. And I'm gonna go much deeper into this in the Lazy Money Masterclass. Not just how to sell something now, but also. How to honestly like the step by step of turning it into a funnel that repeats and can bring in those leads, right? So we don't just want to make money now. I mean we do, but we really wanna be able to not just have a one-off cash injection. We wanna create something that is going to keep on giving. Alright? So the first step you're gonna do is audit what you already have. I want you to look in your digital junk drawer, so to speak, but it doesn't have to be a junk drawer. It could be your courses, right? So check your Google Drive, check your email drafts, check old documents with emails in them, maybe mini courses that you've done, or one-off trainings that you've offered to summits or other people's programs, right? So I want you to ask yourself what already exists that can solve a real problem fast. Okay. The second part is gonna be auditing your audience. Okay. So are people warm or do you need to warm more? And that is only, this but if you generally will have a couple of sales immediately upon. Promoting something or selling something or you that like you put up something new that's free and you're getting like 20, 30, 40 downloads, within a few hours, right? You know that your people are warm, they're like hot and ready for you. Then if I would go straight to the high ticket or a juicy, three figure sort of bundle,'cause like why not? If you've been posting consistently you're getting email opens, you know you're getting clicks and you're getting engagement. This is a great time. For you to go straight to the high ticket, to the to the actual. More premium offer if they're cold or lukewarm. Okay. And you're like, you know what? I feel like they really, I really need to create some momentum, rev people up, give them like a really good win. What I would do is I would take a bite-sized piece of whatever that thing is that you're pulling out. Make it ultra, ultra specific and sell that. Okay? So a$27 masterclass or a template swipe file or whatever it is, something that you, maybe, something you use with your clients, a tool you use with your clients all the time, that is going to warm them up and bring in load ticket sales that you can stack or funnel up later. Okay? What I've seen people doing now a lot, which is a really good idea is creating mini gpt, like little gpt that help them get a quick win and kind of diagnose, maybe diagnose where their gaps are, and then be like, Hey, if you want to join this program, this is exactly what we're gonna do in this program. Which is very clever. So that is step two. So know your audience, know your business, you, and only you can know this, I'm not, I don't, okay? Because I'm not in your business. I don't know. I don't see your engagement out and see your email opens or clicks. But if you feel you need people to warm up a little more, this is the chance to do it. Step three is packaging it for a very specific outcome. Okay? So a one specific win. It's not gonna be your whole transformation, it's not gonna be your entire method. One specific win. Okay? So plan your next 30 days of content in one hour, or book your next three clients using Instagram or get booked on, five podcasts this week. A very specific outcome. I did this with my mindset and money bundle. I was like. Okay. I have my Cash Injection Bootcamp, which by the way is really great. It still works to this day. I have my Cash Injection Bootcamp and I have my Nonoo Mindset makeover, which I turned into Rich Mom Energy. It is a 2 97 course which is basically a 35 day sort of challenge with daily mindset kind of audios, and then like a journaling prompt for you to do every day, kind of five days a week. And I was like my cash injection bootcamp is, about a, is a three week usually a three week sprint, but you could do like a three to four week sprint, let's say. And the mindset the mindset challenge, the mindset makeover is also a, is a five week, technically it's a five week sprint. So this kind of three to five weeks can overlap. Alright. And I was like, if they worked on their mindset and they worked up on, worked on showing up and selling their stuff and getting a good cash injection in, that is really the perfect kind of, pairing in a way cheese and rose wine. Okay? That was like the perfect pairing for a really great result. And so I created the mindset and money bundle, bundled it together, and I just put it out there and sold it and it made a whole bunch of sales. Okay? So step four is selling it with speed. Okay? This is gonna be a cash injection. This is not a complete rebrand. You don't need a huge sales page makeover. Create a basic checkout, get it out there, talk about it, use stories, send those emails and focus on results. Okay? Not the fluff. Just here is what you need, here's what this is gonna do for you. I am offering this at special discount or a special offer right now. So let's zoom out here for a second because this is the part that no one really talks about. Cash injections are not just for fast money. I do not think you should build your business on cash injections. Alright? I think that cash injections should be something that you literally inject, not something that is the entire foundation of your business, but they can be a gold mine for recurring revenue if you use them, right? Yes. I love seeing my clients pull in 5K in three days. It's hype, it feels good, it's exciting. But the best part is that quick win can usually be the first draft of a scalable offer. So here's what I mean. One of my clients a while ago, had this really amazing high ticket offer where it was like a, basically a VIP day or a VIP week where she built out your entire full lead gen funnels and turned on the ads for you. So she created the lead gen funnel, she created the ads, and and she got people booked into sales calls or into people's programs. And it worked so well that clients were literally begging her to turn the leads, like the lead ads off, because they couldn't handle the demand. Okay. They literally were just so booked out, they could not handle the demand. And we love a good quality problem here. Okay, but here's the cool part. But running it a few times, one-to-one, she had the entire process down. And at this point, it is a repeatable, teachable. Scalable process. She could turn it into a group program. She could turn it into a DIY course. She could turn it into a backend upsell from her front end. Little offers. She could turn into a rinse and repeat high ticket offer, and she could charge like 10 K for this easy if someone is selling a premium enough offer, right? So cash, injections give you data and results and confidence. So if you are looking to validate something, you might wanna try it in a cash injection manner, right? And then validate the offer. At a, some sort of discount, some special offer, and then take that proof and turn it into something that is evergreen and leveraged and long term. So yeah, today we can focus on making some fast cash or, maybe this month turn making some fast cash. But I want you to already be thinking about how that quick win. Can become your next repeatable cash machine, right? That monthly recurring revenue. And this is exactly the kind of thing that I'm gonna be walking you through in the Lazy Money Masterclass. So how to take something that you've already created and build. Three layers of leverage from it. And yes, that sounds crazy cool and exciting because it is crazy cool and exciting. Alright, step five is to systemize it. Okay, so once you've done, you're done selling it, you said, okay, I'm gonna sell this for one week. I'll sell this for two weeks, and then I'm gonna get some data here. Now you've got data. Save the dms, save the questions, save the emails. See which one's got clicks. See which one's got opens, and you can turn it potentially into a funnel or repeat campaign, right? So let's say you have a lazy content sprint, right? Where you basically, I like using lazy right now. So lazy content, sprint,$97 walk through my exact process to build your entire summer's worth of contents that you can go and take time off and your content is going out. 10 buyers, okay, that's about a thousand dollars, let's say. And then you sell a coaching call bundle for. 9, 9, 7, and that, that gets two buyers. So let's say you do the lazy content sprint for$97. You do it together in let's say two hours 10 buyers for that. Then you off the back end, you sell a coaching call bundle for people to literally get coaching throughout the summer as they put their content out there. Or maybe they want a repurposing bundle where you're gonna repurpose the content for them. I don't know. I'm not the content person here. I am, I actually used to do these content sort of VIP days, but that's not what I'm currently selling. Whatever you wanna do, okay? That's, two buyers that's already,$2,000 more. Now you've basically hit three K and you can charge more than that. You can charge less than that. I'm just giving you some examples. But the whole point is that you're not starting from scratch. You're building smarter with what you already have and. I've done this, like literally, like I remember when I was selling my VIP content formula, when I teach exactly how to do how I create my content like strategy and my content plan. And I did this as a VIP day for people and I charged$3,500 for a 12 month content strategy. Using my VIP content formula. And then I saw that people really were like crazy in love with my content spreadsheet. Literally just my content spreadsheet. Okay. And I was like if that's what you want. And so I just turned it into a micro product, right? The nonviable marketing method, which I might be changing the name around, but it is currently a front end offer for my content courses. Okay? So see how I took something small from my existing client experience and I turned it into a front end offer? That could definitely, that point I could be like, Hey, you wanna do this? You want me to do this for you, right? Like gimme all your information. I'll do this for you. You wanna do it together on a VIP day? Like we can do this together. Just upgrade for X amount, so this is. Such it really becomes such like a simple sort of way to make money. And the most important thing though is that you have that point of differentiation. So why is this different from all the other people out there doing the same thing? And usually it's gonna come down to your experience, your story, the way you did it, why you do it, the way you do it, and why they wanna do it the way you do it too. Okay. And a bonus note, this is why consistency between offers matters. Okay. And that's why I'm really like I've actually been like less consistent lately with my content. You might have noticed that. And it's because honestly, my life has shifted so much in the past couple of years. My, my older kids have gotten older. I have a baby. There's been a war on. I've had less emotional capacity and mental capacity to an extent when it comes to certain parts of my business or of my life. And I just wanna be able to create something that is actually sustainable for me right now. So I had things that I was doing that were sustainable back in 20 20, 20 21, 20 22, 20 23 even. But my life changes, I change, my family changes, and sometimes you have to update and work with what is right now with your current reality. Okay, but. I am still never gonna say, oh, you don't need to be consistent. It's fine if you just show up and sell every once in a while and then go ghost your audience. I do not, I'm not saying that. Okay. There is a reason I'm doing my Lazy Money masterclass now because I do want to create a little wave momentum. I wanna get people in the room, I wanna do this together. This is exciting. Okay. And I wanna create just heat up the the business a little bit in the summer, which easy to do'cause it's summer and it's hot. But I really wanna do that because because I know I've not been as consistent as I could have been, right? This is me just being honest here. I have not been as consistent as I wanted to have been, and that's because I've been finding my new way, alright? And you need to find your way too. Buying all the content courses and being in all the content memberships is not necessarily going to help you. But having a plan and having your repeatable process that is actually sustainable for you is going to make all the difference. The reason why consistency between offers matters. Because if you're only showing up when you're selling, people will be confused. They'll be like, who the heck is she? But if you're always showing up with value and you're just leading naturally to sales, selling feels natural and integrated, like just another conversation. In fact, ACEs say to my clients like, I don't actually launch, right? I just talk about what I wanna talk about. And I just say, Hey, if you want more of this, then buy this. And that was what I did week after week. It was it was not like a launching sort of energy, but it was still selling on the regular. Okay. I was being consistently visible. I was connecting and I was selling at the same time. Okay. So if you take nothing else away from this is exactly what I would do if I wanted to make three to 5K this month. Maybe I'm doing it right now. Let's see. Okay. You do not need a brand new offer necessarily, okay? You need to look at what you've already created, what you're already doing with your clients, what you already have done with your client from the past. Pick something valuable and get it in front of the right people with a very clear invitation. Alright? And if you wanna know how to turn that into a repeatable funnel that brings in that lazy money, so you can sit by the pool or take your kids to camp every day and come home and have a hot, big ice coffee and just, put your feet up and read a book, or you just want to, go on vacation with your family. My family might be going away this summer and i'm like, I know I wanna have my funnels running so people are coming in consistently and and really just, getting into my world without me having to show up and do the live content over and over again, right?
