Raising Your Business: For Moms Growing Their Business and Raising Their Family
111. How I Turned a $27 Offer Into $100K — And How to Literally Build a Funnel That Sells While You Sleep
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you ever looked at your business and thought "I need a whole new offer, a whole new funnel, a whole new strategy" — when actually, you just need a smarter entry point?
Yeah. Been there. Built a better funnel instead.
In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on one of my favorite business wins: how a $27 workshop led to over $100K in backend sales — including an $18K VIP client — without a complicated tech setup, without sales calls, and without starting from scratch.
I'm walking you through the exact 4-part framework I used to build a low-to-high-ticket funnel from stuff I already had. And trust me, if you're a busy mom running a business in between everything else, this is the kind of strategy that was made for you.
In this episode:
- The $27 workshop that led to a $10K upgrade (and how 10% of buyers converted — without a single sales call)
- Why your next offer doesn't need to be new — it needs to be strategic
- The difference between a "micro" and "macro" entry point (and how to pick the right one for your high ticket offer)
- How to connect your low-ticket offer to your premium program in a way that feels natural, not pushy
- The follow-up strategy that keeps your funnel working long after launch day
If you're ready to stop leaving money on the table and start building something that sells while you sleep, this episode is for you.

So they went from twenty-seven dollars to ten thousand dollars. So like a little over eight months.$100,000 just from one offer. Not even counting anything else I sold from a$27 to a$47 entry point. So that is not luck. That's not oh, whatever people were just buying anything. That was leverage. That is what happens when your low ticket offer reflects your real transformation and it leads people naturally to the next step.
Speaker 3Welcome to the Raising Your Business podcast. I'm your host, Yael Bendahan, founder of CEO Mom Academy, mom of six, and lifelong reading addict. This podcast is here to empower moms to run their businesses and lives like the powerhouse CEO they are. I want you to believe that you can have the business success you desire and be present with your family, and to give you my best tips and strategies for how to make that happen. I'll be sharing the honest reality of balancing business and motherhood, biz models that work for you, marketing simplicity, and the mindset of a CEO mom. Now, let's dive in.
Speakerhello. Welcome back to the podcast. And this is actually a episode that I planned a really long time ago and never actually recorded. And I wanted to just bring this in right now because I felt like it works for the summer, And it works for what's going on right now in the online space as far as trust-building goes, and I'm really excited about it. So today, I'm spilling the tea on one of my favorite behind-the-scenes wins, how I turned a$27 offer into over 60k in revenue within two weeks, and how that tiny offer led to an 18k VIP client. And yeah, it really... It was not a fluke. It was a funnel, and it was a very low-key funnel. So if you've ever found yourself thinking,"There's no way I can build a funnel, it's like too fancy, and I don't have time to do all the techy stuff and the deadline funnels and all that kind of stuff," I'm gonna be walking you through exactly how I created and layered my own low- to high-ticket funnel using stuff that I already had, and how you can too. So let's get into it. If you want my eyes on your funnel, if you want my eyes on your business and you want to help map out and strategize a funnel like this, by the way, I have a few spots open for intensives before I have my baby to literally take what you already have in your business, what you've already created, tools, trainings, offers, and turn it into a funnel that works for you and works to sell people into your higher-ticket offers. And if you wanna just know the strategy behind it, and you want to make sure that you understand the process before doing it, check out my Lazy Money Masterclass. I'm linking it in the description, and you can and you can check it out there. But I would love, love, love to get my hands all over your funnels. I'm really excited about it, and I think that it works so well for especially for busy CEO moms who want to have a sort of shortcut to build trust with your audience. So let's rewind a little bit. So it all started with a$47 live workshop I ran called High Ticket, Low Hassle. And I created it because so many of my clients are stuck trying to build these really complex, overstuffed high-ticket offers and were like,"I have to give everything in the kitchen sink in order for people to pay me money." And I was like,"Okay, no, it does not need to be that hard, and it does not need to be that complicated." So I took the exact process that I used with my coaching clients, and I turned it into a super very down-to-earth step-by-step, here's exactly how to build and sell your first high-ticket offer training. So it was live. I did it on Zoom. It was a, it was like a three-hour-long training.?$47. I ran it once. And people loved it. And what actually happened was I, at the end of, at the end of that live workshop I walked people through the process and I said,"If you wanna do this together, you can join my..." I th- I think it was called my Baby-Proof Business Accelerator or my Six-Figure Mom Accelerator. At that time, it was a seventy-five hundred dollar offer, it was six months for seventy-five hundred. And I think we made over... I think it was like over twenty-one K in, in sales just from that. So if doing the math, when I worked backwards and I figured this out, this actually worked for me across the board. Thirty people purchased it and three people upgraded. So ten percent of the people who bought it and attended... And some of them didn't attend live, some of them did. But thir- thri- well, ten percent of the people who bought it upgraded into a seventy-five hundred dollar offer,? And so then a few months later, towards the end of the year, I ran another live workshop called the Six-Figure Mom Retreat, and it was twenty-seven dollars, and it covered the big picture. It covered basically my entire framework. So Mindset offers marketing systems like my CEO Moms method, which is exactly what I taught in my program. I sold it live. I think I made fifty... Oh, yeah, the... And at that point, my, my accelerator was it was ten thousand dollars for the year, So it was like ten K for the year or one K a month. It was like a one-year program. And then I think it was... I think I sold fifty tickets to this, twenty-seven dollars, and then five people upgraded right then, A couple people joined in January. This, I ran this in December, so a couple people joined in January. So let's say within two weeks of purchasing their ticket, they upgraded into ten K. So they went from twenty-seven dollars to ten thousand dollars. One person, one person paid in full. It was like, it was so exciting, and I... that was like one of my favorite groups of ladies ever. They were like, ugh, I love them so much. And and so basically together, doing the math, that's already over eighty K. And then I ran it live again in March right after my Powerhouse Mom Business bundles. This was a live paid bundle, and someone had just come in through that bundle. She'd purchased the bundle, joined the Six-Figure Mom Retreat that they got included in the bundle, and I ran it live. And then she upgraded to VIP for eighteen thousand dollars, So that was the VIP upgrade from the accelerator w- that included one-to-one Telegram access. And this is from a twenty-seven dollar entry point. So if you do the math, that's pretty much over a hundred thousand dollars within let's say six months. approximately, I think. And maybe it was like, I think it was May to March. So how can you do this too? Let's break it down. So the first thing is thinking about starting what you're already doing. So my best performing offers were literally born from stuff that I was already saying every week on coaching calls, things that I was already covering my clients, showing people the actual framework that I walk my clients through. So you don't necessarily need a new, exciting, different idea. That's oh my God, like I have to now think of something new. I have to come up with something new in my head. No. What are you already doing? You need like a slice of what you're already teaching. So asking yourself, what do my clients always ask about? What tools or trainings am I constantly reusing? What gives people a really quick win, but will make them want more? That is your like what I call your lazy slice, like a pie, right? The front end of your funnel. Then you want to choose your offer type.. So you can go two ways with your entry offer. All right. And both of them work. Both of them work. It's really up to you to decide which one you want to do. I find for bigger picture stuff, like I alternate between them. I would say like at the end of the year, for example, I always would run like a yearly planning session. I'd walk through my process for yearly planning. I'd walk through my framework. That made sense for the time of year. But you can also choose a micro. So it's either micro or macro. You're going to solve one problem, one result, right? Like high ticket, low hassle, right? Create and sell your first high ticket offer. And macro, give them the full roadmap or overview, which is like my six-figure mom retreat. Both of them worked, right? The conversion rate was exactly the same. It was 10% of purchasers upgraded. 10%. From webinars, you're not expecting 10% necessarily, like free webinars, right? Definitely not for something that's this high ticket without sales calls. I've never done a sales call for coaching ever, right? So what really matters is the alignment, right? The goal of the low ticket offer is to build the belief in you and your method and the transformation that you offer. So think, what does someone need to believe before they're ready to upgrade to your premium offer? Whether that is a service or whether that is a coaching, or done with you, done for you, whatever that is. Give that to them in a low ticket sort of way. The third piece is linking it to the bigger offer. So most people will buy a cute little mini offer and it's very nice and everything. And then they just leave it floating around, right? It's here's my offer. No, connect the dots. So inside your low ticket workshop or your course, right? And I did this inside of my standout and sell. Again, same thing happened, by the way. My standout and sell challenge. I ran a free version and then I had a VIP upgrade. And over 10% of people who upgraded to VIP, which was also$47, they got, so they got like a post-challenge daily coaching session where they could ask questions. So again, w- this was a micro, right? It was how to create and leverage a signature framework. About over 10% of people who upgraded to VIP upgraded into my coaching program,? So inside your low-ticket workshop or course, whether you're gonna run it live or you're gonna drop it you're gonna drop it pre-recorded, it's totally up to you. Mention your high-ticket program as an example. Seed it throughout. Ex- use examples from your clients in your high-ticket program and mention it in, in a very organic, natural way, right? And I give a lot of examples on how to do this in the Lazy Money Masterclass. You wanna link to the application pages or special discounts, right? I know someone who, she has a lot of low-ticket offers, but on the side, like on the sidebar of all of her low-ticket offers, she has a graphic that links directly to her mastermind. And she will always have that CTA. It's very soft. It's not like a hardcore pitch, but it is just ma- cr- creating that awareness of if you want the whole enchilada you want the whole system, you want the whole package, then you wanna be in this mastermind or you wanna be in this program, right? And dropping, again, like these soft CTAs in every lesson or email that you send out, right? So your low-ticket product should feel like the first bite of your big, juicy offer. It should leave them thinking,"Damn, I want more of this," right? And right now currently we're getting ready for Shavuot, which is, I think it's Pentecost. I'm not sure if that's the English name for it. I'm actually gonna look it up right now. But the, it's the holiday of Shavuot. What is Shavuot in English? Yes, Festival of Weeks or Pentecost. So there you go. That is, this is where we celebrate the giving of the Torah, and and the reason why we have it's a very dairy holiday because prior to receiving the Torah as the Jewish nation, what, they weren't sure what, which animals they were allowed to eat or they weren't allowed to eat, so they didn't eat meat until then, right? So they basically pretty much, they had the Pascal lamb, for Passover, and then that was pretty much it. They were not sure what to do with their meat. And so after they received the Torah, they were, like, told,"Okay, this is how you do it. This is how you slaughter, and this is, these are all the rules." And they were like,"Okay, great." And then they started eating meat. But we eat dairy to to commemorate what they used to eat before they knew what to do so right now? i'm very much in cheesecake mode mentally. I'm like, you know what? This is my favorite holiday. It is my favorite holiday. I love dairy. I love cheesecake. It's just my thing. So as an example, when someone tastes one bite of my cheesecake, they're gonna want more. If you have never tasted my cheesecake, you're always welcome. My door is open. Come, and I will make you some. So I want your offer to be like a cheesecake. I want people to be like,"Oh my God, I had a taste. Give me the whole thing. I want a big piece." All right? I want a big, creamy piece of cheesecake. And that is the goal. That is really the goal of your lower ticket offer. So that is really important. And then the fourth part is following up, right? Follow up like a CEO. You don't just launch the funnel and forget it, right? So you... and I, and then obviously this is really a very short overview because really this is the kind of thing that you need to demonstrate. But having a low ticket f- front-end funnel requires a sales page, and then you wanna add an order bump because why not give people a chance to upgrade? And then you wanna add, an upsell or another upsell or even a downsell. Add those parts in because, like, why not? Someone's already in your world. They've already purchased from you. Give them a chance to keep going, right? I have a client who literally we created a funnel leading towards her membership, and f- it's a... It has a 50% conversion rate, meaning 50% of people go through her funnel and buy the whole thing up until her annual membership. That's crazy. So you're not gonna just launch the funnel and be like,"Okay, great. I put it out there. People have bought things," whatever, right? Number one, you wanna do things like setting up quarterly retargeting campaigns, like literally just emailing old buyers the personal invite. As an example right now, actually, if you own Stand Out and Sell, I created a custom GPT for it. I've been thinking of creating a custom like a Claude skill. I'm just not sure how to share it, so I'm, like, looking into that. Literally giving you the chance to create your own framework, And this is a really great opportunity to send out an email saying,"Hey, I h- I created this custom GPT that I've added into the course. And if you want my eyes on your framework, I have a$97 upgrade option where I audit your framework and give you ideas for how to utilize your framework as marketing angles and hooks and leverage it more in your business." That is... That's a great quarterly retargeting campaign. And when they... If they purchase that audit, which they could, right? They could or they could not. It's totally up to them. But if they do, I'm definitely gonna say, if I feel like they are a good fit for working with me, I'm going to let them know, and I'll be like,"Hey, if you're interested, if you want to Put down a deposit and if you wanna have an extended payment plan, I'm opening up, spots for one-to-one coaching at the end of the year, right? So I could definitely do that, right? That's a very easy thing to do, and it's not it's not like a super salesy thing. It's"Hey, letting you know there's something new in here, and I would love to help you out, and I would love to give you some feedback on what you're doing."
Speaker 2So another thing you can do is just update with testimonials and new upgrades as they come, right? You might be at one, do an upgrade to the offer. You want, might want to update something or add a bonus. That's a great opportunity to email your people and let them know that you've updated it and make an invitation again, right? Or to even just get them back into even get them back into the offer itself to actually take action inside the offer and remind them that they have it, right? That's a really, there's a great opportunity to just remind them that it exists because people buy so many things. People, sign up for so many things. They might have forgotten that they own it. So it will give them a kind of like a new sort of like yen to just jump right back in and take action on it. Also you can reuse your content. So social media posts, emails, launch sequences to keep the funnel fresh without re, without reinventing the wheel every time. So if you see like a specific email did really well to sell that particular offer then you can include it in your nurture sequence into your your upgrade sequence for that offer. And you can have a very simple upgrade sequence. Give them an opportunity to apply, let's say apply whatever they bought towards your high ticket offer. Be like, give them, you have 30 days to, apply it towards that offer. Send some, some reminders to take action, send some reminders to upgrade. And then towards the end of the month, just be like, Hey, just letting you know, you have X amount of days left. You have one day left, whatever. If you have any questions you want to apply, just get your application in. And once you get your application in, if you choose to join within a week, then I'll extend that, the applic- the applying the payment towards your, towards the high ticket, right? So there are a lot of ways to follow up and obviously not every single one is going to be right for every single person. But what I'll say is between, my low ticket offers and the six-figure mom review, which was like the higher ticket offer, I made over a hundred K just from that one program in backend sales alone. And, then I added on evergreen and it kept on going, right? The funnel lives on even when I stepped away. And so the last thing I want to say that's really important is with AI. I know AI is so great and AI is so wonderful and it really can save you a lot of time. And I've been using it a lot lately to help organize myself and organize my day and bring it, refer back to old stuff that I've been doing. Like I literally am using it to help me build my evergreen sale, like my evergreen value sequence by pulling out all of my quick tips from my old emails and plugging them into individual emails. Like it's, it is so amazing. That being said, this works because it is me, right? It's not somebody else's blueprint. It has to... It's not somebody else's words, and I really think that is worth, if you wanna use AI to help you map out the framework of the emails, okay, great. You wanna use AI to repurpose content that you created, right? It's like taking a podcast and turning it into an email using your tone. That's different. But just taking AI and being like, AI's gonna just build this out for me and I'm gonna just plug it in, and it's gonna be automated," that does not work anymore, right? So the more you can incorporate yourself into this, the better. So some ways that you can incorporate yourself into this is including things like videos, Just little short videos and little video walkthroughs. Now, obviously, they're gonna get some of that from, They're gonna get some of that from the offer itself. If you are recording, if it's a recorded course, then they're gonna g- they're gonna get a feel for you for sure in there. But even, like, when I use Bonjoro, and I think I mentioned this in my previous episode or the one before that. No, previous, when I talked about what's working now for launches. So every time somebody purchases, Every time somebody purchases that low-ticket offer, making an... having it create a little task for you to create a quick personalized video to send them, right? And you could do this in Bonjoro, which is very automated, or you could do it just in Loom if you wanna go really lower tech and just send it directly from your email. It's totally fine. But incorporate more of you into the sequence as well, right? Private podcast episodes or again just a quick little video saying,"Oh, here's a question people ask me, and I wanted to just get on a quick video to answer it," right? The more you have you in your funnel, the more likely people are going to convert to want to work with you because you are gonna give them a feel for what you are like, right? So I highly recommend incorporating as much real human yourself into your funnel. So I'm gonna say it again, okay? You don't need a brand-new signature offer. You don't need a brand-new everything. You don't need to create all kinds of new workshops and ideas and courses and whatever. You need a strategic entry point, right? Something that gives people a taste of your transformation, can build trust in your incredible brilliance, and will naturally lead towards the next step, And I did this while I had a baby home with me. I did this with five kids, six kids. This is not something that is is necessarily very hard to do. It does take a little bit of time to dedicate towards promoting it and getting it out there. But once it's out there, all you need to do is keep sending people towards it, whether you use ads, whether you use organic. But you keep sending people towards it, either, in your emails, in your sequences, in your podcast, whatever. And and if I... and I really believe that it's very possible for you to do it. So if you want this in your business- grab the Lazy Money Masterclass, And you can map out your first funnel. So I act- I'm gonna link it in, I'm gonna link it here in the description. It really walks you through in depth exactly what to do and the exact way and funnel examples and all that kind of stuff. It's really good. Or y- if you want my eyes in your funnel, you want my eyes on your plan, grab an intensive with me. I have limited availability before my baby is born, but I do have a few spots open. You grab that intensive with me, and we can reverse engineer your entry point from your signature offer and create your launch pl- plan and your upgrade strategy. And you'll be able to apply your payment, if you'd like, towards coaching programs when I come back from maternity leave. I hope you enjoyed this. I hope this gave you some ideas. I hope this sparked some insight and inspiration on what you could create to sell people into your signature offers, into your higher ticket premium offers. And remember, lazy, when I say lazy, I don't mean lazy, leveraged, Leverage is my word, But I would love for you to have people just coming in through your front end and being like,"Oh my gosh, yes, can I apply to work with you? Can I apply to work with you?" That is what I want for you. I wanna save you time, I wanna save you time. I wanna save you effort. And I'm not saying you still don't have to show up and sell, but you want something that can show up and sell when you are not available to. And those times come up a lot as a mom. If you enjoyed this, please let me know. Share it with your friend. Share it with your business bestie, your CEO mom that needs to hear this. And I cannot wait to see you inside Lazy Money Masterclass. And of course, send me a DM on Instagram. I will link my intensive if you want to if you want to just grab one immediately.
