Our next guest is with Ben Wieland, the livestock logistics and procurement at Kilcoy Global Foods. Ben grew up on a small family cattle property in Boonah, South-East Queensland and holds a degree in Agriculture with a major in Animal Production from the University of New England. Ben manages livestock logistics and procurement at Kilcoy Global Foods, a demanding and complex role which requires a high level agility and understanding to ensure the best results for both feedlot and processor. During this role at Kilcoy Global Foods Ben has coordinated a number of industry trials with a particular focus on lairage and elements related to eating quality.
