Welcome back to another episode of The Actor’s Instrument! On this episode, Hassiem is joined by the incredible, award-winning stage and screen actress, Adrienne C. Moore.
Most recognized for her NAACP Image Award-nominated role as Black Cindy on Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black,” for which she also earned three SAG Award Nominations, Adrienne can most recently be seen in the Clint Eastwood drama, “Juror #2,” currently streaming on Max, and on stage alongside Joy Behar in “My First Ex-Husband” at New York City’s new MMAC Theater.
Hassiem and Adrienne discuss working with Joy Behar and Clint Eastwood, her work in “The Blood Quilt” at Lincoln Center, the challenges of being typecast, and why she believes that trusting her instincts has been the biggest contributing factor to her career success.
