I:

Hello, my name is Diana Dirkby and I live with paranoid schizophrenia. Today, I'm very happy because I have a big announcement to make. Namely, my book, the Overlife, a Tale of Schizophrenia, has won an award. On December 16, 2024, I received an email informing me that I had won a 2024 International Impact Book Award for my book, "The Overlife, a Tale of Schizophrenia, by Diana Dirkby. You'll remember that the novel is a fiction novel about a mother and daughter both living with paranoid schizophrenia, and that it is based strongly on my own life. I immediately emailed the organisers of the award to thank them and received a quick response welcoming me to the International Impact Book Award family. This news significantly boosted my new year, sending me into 2025 feeling supported and part of a large group of authors with diverse yet compatible goals.

I:

The International Impact Book Award is an award giver and a charitable organisation. To learn more, you can visit their website internationalimpactbookawards. com. The International Impact Book Awards aim to encourage authors of any genre and at any stage of their careers, from beginners to veterans, to be judged independently of any hierarchical criteria. They hold a gala about twice a year, during which award recipients can attend a pedagogical conference in the day and a dinner in the evening where they can mix and network with important people. The next gala is at the end of February 2025,
