No word of a lie Holy Spirit spoke this entire episode. I recorded this a couple months back and am now finally getting around to editing and it’s been convicting the mess outta me. It is my prayer that this pod edifies, exhorts and encourages the body to go deeper in Jesus name! ❤️🔥💯
What is up, y'all? I just felt the Lord uh really strongly want me to just talk about this topic of complete and utter surrender. I think this is a super cool, like I got a new iPad, you guys. Praise God for like writing out um sermons and things like that. It's been super cool, it's been super fun. But let me set up my camera so I could like really sit down and talk to you guys. Hold on. This is my last weekend in this house. Um I don't know when I'm gonna drop the testimony video for the other things that have been going on in my life. I still have so many things to upload, but um you know, in this time, the Lord has called me away into this place of just going deeper, of going deeper into the things of God, going deeper into the secret place, reminding myself that as Stephanie Gritzinger says, the caller is the keeper, and you know, sometimes we can get too focused in the call, forgetting the caller, and that's not even really what it was. It's just I felt the Lord calling me to come away with him, and my heart is to just be one with God, my heart is to just be in alignment with the Lord, my heart is to be in his will, and I just want to be where he tells me to be, amen. Um, so as I was sitting here, I was listening to this song, and it talks about um I don't even know what the song was saying. All I know was I just had this vision of the bride, the church of God dying for the Lord in the times when persecution is going to arise. I mean, we already know it's arising in other places, and um I saw this vision of essentially that for me personally. I was ministering to a crowd, and then something had happened in which you know I had passed away. Or I don't even think I passed away, I was just marked, I was scarred. I think it was a bullet, it was a bullet. And I looked up to heaven just now, like as I saw this vision, and I was like, what an honor to share in the marks of Christ, and I began to weep. I just felt the presence of the Lord so strong, I even feel it now. And um to be his bride, knowing that he died, knowing and longing that there would be a people that would desire to know him in fullness and in truth. To think that Jesus died so the veil would be torn. Jesus died to make us one with him. Jesus died so that we could come into this holies of holies place where we could just come and talk and dine and get to know him and dive into the word and understand the word and understand the things of God because he gives us his Holy Spirit and to understand the amount of love that he has for his bride, that he would die a death that he didn't deserve, so that we would get to know him. And the scripture that came to my mind was that you know, he is a jealous God for our love, he's an all-consuming fire, he's an all-consuming flame, burning up all other lovers that are not him. And he began to just minister to me about how much he loves his bride, that he burns for us, he has markings in his hands and his feet, but his eyes are flames of fire because he is looking at the burning love that he has for you and me. And it began to dawn on me that he wants all of us, he wants all of us, and he is yearning for a people that are not only willing to give themselves, but want all of him that are willing to follow him no matter the cost, because of this burning love, not out of obligation, not because of what they've been taught, but because they are burning for the one that burns for them. They are burning for the one who first loved them first. And so surrender, while difficult in the flesh, becomes easier and easier by the day because the more you surrender, the more you become like him, the more you become like him. And so I was thinking as Holy Spirit was downloading, I began to break and I was like, what an honor it would be to share in the markings that he has, to share in the suffering of Christ, to truly know him and his resurrection, resurrecting power. This real came back to me that Pastor Brian Gurne was talking about, and he was saying how heaven recognizes the ones that look like him, heaven recognizes the ones that are fully surrendered to the call of God, heaven recognizes the ones in the spirit that are sharing in the markings of his hands and of his feet. And I began to realize that as the body of Christ, when we share in the markings of his hands and his feet, it is essentially saying, God, my life is yours. What I do where I go is wherever you desire for me to be, because I have counted the cost and I long to be one with you, no matter how it looks like. That is the true love story. And so as God yearns for us to know him more, he is looking for a people that no matter the cost, they are not just following God for what he can do for them, but even in the suffering, they rejoice because they become closer and closer and closer to him. And so the more that you surrender to God, the more you begin to see him work in your life. And I began to really thank the Lord that as we surrender unto God, y'all, as we surrender to the Lord and say, Lord, my right now is all yours. Where you desire to place me in the world is all yours. Wherever you desire for me to work is all yours. However you desire for me to carry myself is all yours. That burden gets lifted. That's why the word of God says, Come to me, all who are heavy. For my burden is easy and my yoke is light. Why? Because when we surrender the right now, when we surrender our life right now, we begin to understand that as we abide in that John 15 place, as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, what begins to happen is the weight gets off of your shoulders because if you trust him with the now, you know that he is responsible for the outcome. And you know deep down that God is good, God is love. And so whatever you are going through, whatever he allows you to go through, is to conform you to the image of his son. That's it. And that needs to be our heart's desire. Jesus, we desire to see you in everything. We desire to be like you. We desire for the will of the Father to be done. We desire that how it is in heaven will be done on earth. And the way that it will be like that is if we are all walking around with crucified lives like the crucified one, because then we will begin to walk in that resurrection power. Just like the book of Isaiah, chapter nine says, that there will be a people that were in dark that will see a great light, and God desires to shine his light through you. But God can only shine his light through you if you fully surrender, if you desire to share in the markings of his hand and feet, if you desire to give him your yes every single second of the day, it is doable. It is doable. When you long so much for the Lord, he empowers you with his supernatural grace to be able to walk in such a way that is not only pleasing to him, but you begin to see his manifestation in every single thing you do. You begin to see his glory in the mundane, but it only comes from full surrender, full surrender, no matter how scary it looks, full surrender. And surrender gets easier the more you meditate on the crucified Christ, the more you meditate on the fact that it was literally love that kept him on the cross. And so I was just thinking of that today. Um, I was thinking of it as I was reading uh Matthew 3, and it was talking about how John the Baptist prepares the way. And as I was studying um a commentary I was reading, it said that um John the Baptist was called forth to prepare hearts for the Messiah and to bring an awareness of sin. And that zeal, that boldness only came because John the Baptist had this revelation that Jesus was and is the bridegroom. Because John the Baptist says, He who has the bride is the bridegroom. And we know that the bride was birthed from his side, much like Eva's birthed from Adam's side. It was the redemption of the garden, which is why Jesus shows up in his glorified state to the woman in the garden. They thought that he was the gardener. And it's just this beautiful depiction of understanding first love. It's burning first love that allows you to surrender. It's burning first love that allows you to submit. When you love somebody, but you also know their character, you know that they would never fail you. That's what allows women to really step into that submissive role in marriage. I mean, I'm not married, so I'm speaking biblically, right? Not from experience. But when you have that faith that the one who is leading and guiding you loves you and is good, wants the best for you, and continues day in and day out to show you their character, it leads to an easier way of submission. And so I really just wanted to share that. I feel that so strongly. Like the way revival is about to hit the land. I don't know about you guys, it's been so easy to just step out in the things of God, but ultimately before that major revival, we need to ensure that we are consecrated, we are sanctified, and we are all in for the kingdom. Because I don't know, I know for a fact that I don't ever want to be in this place where I am so focused because I've been there. I'm so focused on the things that God is calling me to that I forget and I don't align myself when he is calling on my heart to come away with him, that I forget that first love, that I become like that church of Ephesus that is doing all these good things, but I've left my first love. I never want to be in that place. And I believe that the Lord is the one as he calls us to store up oil in the secret place. He will keep that fire burning, but we have to do our part. And it's only by his mercy and his grace, it's not working for his love, it's not striving for his love. It is to maintain the relationship. And it is not this, I have to do this, I have to do that. It's because I love him, I get to get in his presence. Because I love him, I get to eat of his scroll. Because I love him, I get to take communion and dine with him at this table. I get to be with him always and forever. I don't have to wait for heaven. I can see him right now. And so, my God, I just, I just really, really, really just want this to stick to us, especially with where the Lord is calling so many of us. If we want to see new levels of his glory, there needs to be a deeper death. We were only able to see the glory of the Lord in the sign, in the miracle, in the wonder of Jesus Christ being raised up from the dead by the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit. And so I want to encourage us with that. If you want to see the glory of the Lord in your life manifest more, it takes a deeper surrender. It takes a deeper death. We need to understand that. That's why I will never understand when people begin to become jealous or envious of people's anointing or call, because there is a great pressing, there is a great crushing, there is a great death that must occur. And the greater the death, the greater the glory. And so so many people will be like, Rachel, your life is crazy, all these things by his grace and his mercy alone, because there were so many sleepless nights, so many tears cried, so many betrayals, so many things that the Lord has not allowed me to speak on. It's between me and him, and I trust him because he is the righteous judge. But you blessed those that persecute you, you blessed those that curse you, and you ultimately need faith to be able to see the glory of God move. Because this is the reality. The Lord could be moving and you don't see it because your thinking and your perspective is carnal. You think you already have the truth, so the Holy Spirit can no longer guide you and bring you into all truth because you think you're already there. It's a consistent, constant guiding into all truth because all things are the sons, and because we are one with him, we get to partake in all these things. But if you think you already have all the things, if you are content with where you are in your walk, then you can't go deeper. And so my prayer is that we don't become content in our walk. We always hunger for more. We always hunger to go deeper. I was talking to some sisters, and the Lord has actually fashioned us to be lovers of Him. That is what we were created for, to love Him. And, you know, this is why when people begin to look for love elsewhere and they want to worship other things, even though they might not think it's worship, but we know spiritually it is. We see it in a sense. I'm so sorry, my hair was probably tweaking the whole time. We begin to fill ourselves up with these other lovers that cannot fulfill us, and we always want more and more and more. Idols take, take, take from us, right? But that's because we were created to always want more of God. And so, whatever we try to fit in the hole in our hearts, other than God, we're gonna want more and more and more of it. But that's how it needs to be. Now that we have come into the kingdom, we should always want more and more and more of him. And it's not just this, like, oh, let me just eat this buffet all the time. It's also being able to be in his presence, still, sitting with him, listening for his voice. Lord God, what do you desire to do today? Let's spend time today. It's a relationship, it's not just a work, work, work, but we're so hungry, we're burning for him that even if we eat some of our daily bread for the day, we're meditating on it all day and all night. And so, yeah, y'all, that's honestly what I wanted to just share with you guys. Um, again, I don't know when I'm gonna release this, I don't know if I'm gonna release this, but we're obedient. I felt the Lord tell me to turn the camera on, so here we are. Um and yeah, I just I just really pray that gets on to us. Full, full surrender. The Lord is looking for those that are surrendered to his will, surrender to the way that he wants to do things, not the way of religion, not the way of um tradition, not the way of compromise, not the way of the flesh, not the way of what we think, but what he thinks. And the only way that we're gonna get to that place is if we align our hearts with heaven that as his heart beats, ours does as well, because we are one with him. So I wanna just leave you guys with that. Um, again, this is my last uh weekend here. I'm literally moving out of here in like a couple days. Um so many testimonies, you guys. I'm still asking the Lord on like what he wants me to do in terms of the YouTube because I'm I'm off social media right now. I think it's so funny because people be thinking I'm like a backslidden or like I'm going through it when I get off social media, which I I I appreciate everyone that checks in. But sometimes it's just like no, the Lord calls me away. He is so so good. And yeah, I love you guys. I thank you again for all of your support. I'm also thinking of putting out like a newsletter starting soon as the Lord leads on the website. So if you guys want to keep up with like where the Lord is sending me missions and all these things that he has me doing in more detail and more like an intimate kind of thing, you guys can sign up on the imagebearers.ca website for the email notifications. Um and yeah, y'all God is moving so beautifully, so amazingly, so wonderfully. I'm in awe of him. And so I will see y'all when I see y'all in Jesus' name.
