Had an awesome chat with Cody Godsell, P.E. (Senior Drilling Engineer- El Toro Resources LLC) at the Red Piano Lounge in OKC.
We chatted about how growing up in South Dokota he found his way into the oilfield. Starting his career at Chesapeake Energy and what that experience was like, to landing his current role at El Toro Resources LLC and the differences at working at a large company versus smaller one.
As President of the AADE MIDCON - American Association Of Drilling Engineers Mid-Continent Chapter we discussed the challenges him and other chapters are facing in regards to getting operators to attend events. We then discussed the concept of success and how our perception of it changes over time. Awesome time as usual chatting with him.
