What if consistency didn’t mean doing something every day, or every week? What if it meant honoring your own rhythm, your own flow, and knowing when to pause? In this final episode before summer break, I’m sharing a loving reminder that rest is part of the process, especially when you’re building something for the long run.
I’m getting real about what consistency actually means, not hustle culture’s definition, but one rooted in alignment, energy, and long-term vision. I discuss the importance of taking intentional breaks, redefining productivity, and trusting your own pace as you build your life, career, or business.
I also share how I will be taking a break from the podcast for the rest of July and August, and then I will be back in September with new, exciting guests and powerful tools to help you live a more intentional life and reach your big money time and impact goals.

The fear is real, but so is OUR power. In this powerful and heartfelt episode, I sit down with the bold and brilliant Natalie Garcia to talk about what’s happening in our communities, what we’re feeling, and what we can actually do in the face of ICE raids, fear, and division.
You’ll hear two daughters of immigrants holding space for each other, navigating grief, rage, hope, and resilience. We discuss our responsibility as Latinas, especially those who have gained some privilege or power, and how we can stand in solidarity with our community without burning out. Whether you’re protesting in the streets or raising awareness at home, your role matters.

This episode is a reminder that you don’t need to do everything, but you do need to do something. Our joy, our stories, and our unity are la medicina. ✊🏽💛

You are not your productivity. You are not your to-do list. And you’re definitely not more valuable just because you do more.
In this episode, we’re closing out the 3-part Healing Your Inner Niña series with a truth many of us need to sit with: Your worth is not in what you do—it’s in who you are.
I guide you through a beautiful reflection and a gentle process to reconnect with the joyful, free little girl you once were—and begin letting go of the deeply ingrained belief that your value is tied to how much you do or accomplish. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a mama, a career woman, or somewhere in between, this message is for you.
In this episode, I discuss

If you’ve ever carried guilt for things that weren’t really your fault—or weren’t even your responsibility—this episode will speak straight to your heart.
In this episode, I continue our 3-part Healing Your Inner Niña series by talking about something I know so many of us carry quietly: Guilt. Especially for those of us who were the responsible ones growing up in first-gen immigrant households, guilt became a way of life. Guilt for not doing enough, being enough, or pleasing everyone around us.
I open up about how my Inner Niña learned guilt early on, from family dynamics, cultural expectations, and Catholic upbringing, and how that shaped my adult life… until I realized guilt is actually a choice.
I talked about:
Let this be the permission you didn’t know you needed to stop carrying what was never yours to hold. 🩷

We’re kicking off a powerful new series to help you reconnect with your inner niña and rewrite the beliefs that no longer serve you, starting with the belief that you have to please everyone to be loved.
In this episode, I open up about something I’ve seen time and again with my clients: PEOPLE PLEASING. I share how this survival mechanism from childhood, especially for those of us who grew up in immigrant households, can quietly control our adult lives.
This is the first part of my Healing Your Inner Niña series, where we’ll dive deep into the limiting beliefs that shaped us and how to let go of them.
In this episode, I cover:

We’re in challenging times—and it’s showing up in our marketing. What worked just a few months ago no longer seems to land the same way. The strategies, the numbers, even the energy—it’s all shifted. But one thing hasn’t changed: the importance of continuing to show up, connect with your audience, and build genuine relationships. So how do we keep taking action when the rules have changed?
In this episode, I open up about what it really feels like to market in this current season. Things have shifted. The noise is louder, the results are slower—and maybe you’re wondering if you’re the only one feeling this way. You’re not
On this episode , I talked about:
This isn’t a how-to. It’s a heart check.

Our hearts are in LA. If you have been following the news, you may have seen that wildfires impacted various parts of LA County in California.
In this week’s Yes Mujer Build It podcast episode, I provide three tools to help you regulate your nervous system during challenging times such as these.
As we witness the community, organizations, and small businesses collectively coming together to provide resources and assistance to those in need, I want to remind you that taking care of your mental health is just as important too. Whether you were directly affected by this event or not, we all can feel the ripple effect when tragedy strikes.
These three simple tools are helpful whenever you feel dysregulated, stressed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your centered self.
The first thing that you can do to regulate your nervous system is to take something off your To-Do list. Not everything is a priority, and it is okay to give yourself grace, compassion, and permission to not be at 100% capacity. Prioritize what absolutely has to get done, and your mental health. Step two in regulating your nervous system is to go back to your breath. Breathing exercises like box breathing can help bring you to calmness in a simple way. It can also be helpful to physically place your hands over your heart and think about someone or something that provides you with unconditional love. This exercise helps open up the feelings of being safe, secure, and deeply loved. The final tool I share is to practice tea meditation. Teas like lavender, ginseng, and osha root have calming benefits that regulate your nervous system and boost your immunity. Combining tea with mindfulness while drinking will help you release stress and tension.
The next thing I share was a life changer for me: Lower your expectations of yourself during these challenging times. It's okay to need help, not to be functioning at your normal capacity, and to require less of yourself. Simple self-care tools and community will help you navigate stressful events collectively.
