Dr. Smita Garg shares her personal anecdotes of receiving messages from the divine.  She also explores her connections with various ascended masters and divine beings from both Eastern and Western traditions. 

She tells us about the significant spiritual events that have shaped her life including a notable encounter with orbs, and a Kundalini awakening.

Yes. And and expecting that this is going to be the first of a few different interviews that we're going to do because the topic that we're gonna talk about is, is a big one. And when you and I were talking to get ready for today it seemed to me that this is something that is so important and is so vital to us all that we should take our time and. Go into this with, with great detail and very clearly. So I am confident that, that we're going to do that today. The theme that we're gonna talk about is that we have divine guidance available

we just need to be open up to it. And. That's an easy sentence for someone to read or to say, but it's, it's not always apparent or obvious to everyone that we can open up to that guidance and that the guidance is right there for us. It's not obvious. We're not looking at it with our eyes, our human eyes. It, it's there, but we're not seeing it.

Yes. Yes. Just generally speaking, there are oftentimes when our intuition, which we call our sixth sense in very general terms, it's always present. And how many times have we felt like perhaps, we've been to a place and it just feels super familiar and we feel like we've been there before. So moments like that, moments of deja vu but then also how many times have we've heard that inner voice chime in and say, don't do that. Or, for something as simple as. Not a good idea to eat that, but we,

we do. And then we pay for it later. divine guidance is always available to us through our intuition, when that voice chimes in, it's a good idea to stop and take a listen,

we're getting this. Communication from divine, you know, from the other side. And it's important to, catch it when it comes. I wanna just tell a couple of things that I feel like, that I've gotten messages that perhaps the most distinct one that I got from above or from the Divine is that had been studying meditation and things and I really was very interested in it and I'm still interested in it and I. One day, I just had these words just came into my brain

Trust the spirit inside you. And it was a real unique thing for me because I had never had that happen. I haven't really had it happen since in that way, but it was, I, I mean, I didn't hear it with my ears, but it came into my brain and it was very distinct and I, I paid attention to it and, and I have tried to do that. And so that was one time when it just. I needed that message and it came. And a a second thing is, is that I have been trying to be aware of day-to-day messages that I get from my guides on big spiritual things,

on day to day things. Part of that communication smith, right? It doesn't it have to do with going on in our lives and.

Absolutely. And I think that is how we can strengthen our relationship to that inner guidance too. We don't have to wait to hear a big message like, Hey, you're gonna have an accident tomorrow.

But it's probably going to be little messages here or there. Just to help us build that connection and strengthen it. And once we have strengthened that connection, there is enough trust that we built into that voice and into that connection, then we can actually get bigger messages.

Give, read that into the, onto the the tape or whatever. And I have found that I've been doing the, I, I think we're on our 53rd or 54th episode and I. Lately I've been feeling that I don't have to worry about what am I going to write. Actually, that's been for some time. I don't have to worry about what am I gonna write for the intro and the outro. I just get there, I get ready to say it, just get started and it just comes right outta me I do feel strongly that that is coming to me. It's a like a download kind of. I'm getting it and I am writing it out, and then I say it and it's not like I, I can't edit it or if I use the same word twice or, I mean, I. It's not, it's not like carved on tablets, but the concept of it is coming to me from the other side. And, and that's, that's wonderful. And so I just

think that's so interesting because we, here in the United States there, I think the, it's a majority of people are raised somewhat in the Christian faith and we don't think about other, ascended beings besides Jesus.

Absolutely, yes. So it, I'm sure that it has to do a little bit with my upbringing. Even though I grew up in primarily Hindu household, I. We had our gods and goddesses and ceremonies, prayers, you know, all of that. But my parents also exposed me to Jesus and his teachings. You know, I went initially to a school that was run by missionaries. And so I grew up with a lot of I would say familiarity. With the Christian faith. At the same time, I remember this one time my dad had gone to Italy. he does a lot of work with Italy, so he used to go. Visit and each time he would bring back a memento for me. And this one time he brought a cross,

which was from Assisi. It was from the St. Francis. Church. And I remember looking at it and I, I carried it with me for the longest time because I felt connected to St. Francis. And so somehow I was sort of open to all of that growing up. And I would say that the amazing thing about. Without, without trying to say that, hey, the Hindu faith is, but the Hindu faith does tend to be a lot more open to divine beings, and it's understood that divinity is within everyone and it's in every religion, it's in every person. And so I kind of grew up with that open mind, and so nobody really said that, Hey, why are you carrying across, or Why do you believe I. when I started to sort of get these this communication from the other side or from within me the part of me that is connected to the greater consciousness it showed up in the form of archangels. It showed up in the form of Jesus. It showed up in the form of the Hindu God, Krishna, it showed up in the form of the mother goddess mother Mary, so I realized that there was nothing stopping me from connecting to any of these energies. It was I that needed to stay open and as long as I was open. To these divine connections. They were all available to me. So I realized that it was all up to me, my mind, how open it was. Yeah.

Well, you are a I, in my opinion, uh, Smid, you are a rare person who is in such direct communication on such a regular basis, uh, with, with the Divine, and that I. In my feeling is that you must have been chosen to, do this after other lifetimes of, of being, uh. Religious person and reli and spiritual person, but that, that, in this lifetime, it seems to me that that your role is to be a communicator. And I just wanna point out something, uh, because one of the things that is important for me in this podcast is credibility. I

and, but I. You had no idea that this was gonna happen. Right?

I had no idea. Um, I had always been attracted to spirituality from a very, uh, young age. I had been trying to have a conversation with God. With this image in my head that God was outside of me. And so I would try to, before I went to bed every night, try to have a conversation with a being outside of me. And there were times when I heard something, uh, you know, in my mind's eye. But of course being, being a kid, I thought, Hey, that must be my imagination. Um.

Move forward. You know, you, you, you know the story of how I went through various stages of grief when my, you know, people close to me. My loved ones passed away, and then my daughter was born and, um, had to be hospitalized in NICU for, for weeks because of, uh, um. You know, a botched delivery and, uh, she had to undergo lifesaving surgery. And it was at that time that I truly felt the strength envelope me and just sort of say that. Just to stay there connected to this little soul that's made its appearance and, and we are there to support. And incredibly, the support did show up and it was support, you know, that I can only call a miracle. So. She survived. She's now almost 25, you know, a wonderful young lady. Um, so that was when I had a real experience of, oh, there is something there that I can, I can connect to and, and whatever this is, is available to support me and to help me through times like this. And it started with that, but I, I. Still wasn't sure of the voice speaking to me from within me. You know, I was still thinking it's something that needs to happen externally. So interestingly, I think my guides, they knew that I needed a little bit of, um, external validation.

that the, that the, that the disciples were there with Jesus. And they're like, well, you know, we think he's a great guy and everything, but, and then all of a sudden these miracles happened. And, uh, I de define a miracle as something that, defies explanation, um, in, in our, in our life. That, that you. You can't, there's no logical way that that could be or, or could happen. And you have had miracles happen to

Yes. Yes. Um. Actually, uh, um, what happened And, and if you don't mind, Jim, I would like to go back to that first moment, that first moment when I, uh, fully acknowledged that there was this connection, which was very alive. Yeah.

So this was in 2012. When I was, um, traveling through, uh, various cities in California, um, just uh, on a vacation and we were just driving and we were stopping at these beautiful towns and cities and, you know, spending a few hours or a day or two everywhere. And then we happen to stop at this beautiful, um. You know, California has a lot of missions and the missions have a very tenuous history actually. Um, I. But without going into details of, of the history of these missions these days, there's an acceptance even within the missions that, you know, a lot, a great wrong was done to the indigenous people of the area, uh, you know, through conversions and all sorts of, uh, horrific acts. So, um. I was passing by this mission. We just stopped for a little bit and I was taking pictures, uh, because it was around Thanksgiving. They actually had some of their Christmas festivities up and I was just, you know, taking photos because it looked really pretty. And the next thing I know, an orb floated by and literally stopped in front of my camera so I could take a picture.

So an orb is, you know, sometimes you'd hear people saying that, oh, they saw an orb or orbs generally show up really well in photographs and, uh, they are basically, uh, spirit forms or energetic forms, and they show up as a bright circle

Okay. Like a ball, a ball, like a ball of light or

A ball of light. Yes. And so this orb literally came floating by and it stopped in front of my camera and post for me. And I took a photo and I took multiple photos and then it moved away. And I was like, wait, what was that? And then I. You know, I looked around and I said, is somebody like, uh, are there bubbles around here? Or what's going on? No. But there was an orb that I was able to catch on my camera. Um, so later on when I looked at the photos, uh, off that trip, I found that there were orbs traveling with me in the car throughout that trip, and I did not know, uh. But for some reason, um, it just felt strangely comforting, but also exciting to be a company of the orbs. Um, and there, you know, I was sensitive enough to know that it wasn't anything low vibrational. Um, so that was the first time that I had sort of a physical interaction. I. With, uh, something that you wouldn't consider physical.

Right, right. And I have, I have interviewed people that have taken photographs of, of, in areas where they felt that there were spirits going to be

Well, no, I wasn't able to see it with my naked eye, but through my camera. When I held up my camera, it just floated by, it stopped momentarily so I could take a picture of it, and I, I realized that it was inviting me to take a photo, and so I had no choice. I, I, of course, I took a photo. Um. Why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't I take a photo of an orb that's posing for me? Uh, but, but the fact that it, it was an invitation and it was also

communication, um, made me think deeply about what was going on. Um. Then in 2014 is when I had what I can call a Kundalini event, um, which you might have heard from other people. Jim is a fairly huge life changing event, uh, when you have a Kundalini awakening and.

No, I, I don't know anything about that. When you use that phrase, a Kundalini event, I don't know anything about that. What, what is that all about?

about that. You, you were, you felt that you were, you were having a Kundalini episode. Okay.

Yes. So I was, I was really not sleeping much. I was. Restless like crazy. Um, it was a strange restlessness. It was a spiritual restlessness. So the spiritual restlessness was, you know, affecting my body. I was losing weight. I lost 10 pounds in no time. Um, I was getting very little sleep. And in my sleep I started to have visions, which were really profound and. In one of those visions, I met with the three archangels, and I remember being in that half asleep, half awake state talking to the angels and, and thinking like, why do I know them and why are they here and what do they wanna talk to me about? Um, and that's when I, I met Archangel Michael. Rafael and Gabriel and the one who really spoke to me, um, was Archangel Gabriel. He spoke with me quite a bit and for the next few years and continuing now I am able to channel Archangel Gabriel after that particular vision. So that was my first meeting with the archangels, and I remember thinking that. In that half a week, half a sleep state, how do I know these guys?

I, I asked them, who are you? And then, but I already knew who they were. So it was kind of an interesting sort of, you know, I realized that they were using sort of this q and a type of thing for me to. Come to an understanding of who they were and why they were there. Um,

and they were very distinct, you know, so I could see their distinct personalities. I could sense that they were. So different in their energies, and yet they came from a place of, um, of love and they were there to help me somehow because I was going through the spiritual restlessness and the sense of, um, not knowing what my purpose was. So I would like to say that one of the things that has been. Always been there in my mind since I was very little, was a sense of purpose that I was here to do something and my first job was to find out what is it that I was here to do.

in my forties, I still wasn't clear what I was here to do. So I was doing different things. I was, you know, as you know, working on my PhD and all of that and thinking that maybe that's what I'm supposed to do, but somehow I wasn't feeling like I was there inside. I wasn't feeling, I was still restless. Um. And I felt like they were there to help guide me, uh, to my purpose. Sure enough, the next night they reappeared, and this time they started to have a proper conversation again, a sort of q and a with me. And in this q and a, they said, so you've been wondering about your purpose? And I said, yes. Are you here to help me? We are here to guide you. Okay. I'm excited. You're here to guide me. Uh, what am I supposed to do with my life? Well, what are you passionate about? What are you good at? Have you stopped and thought about it? And the first thing that came to my mind was when people are grieving, when they're sad, when they, um, are distressed, they reach out to me. I. Even as a friend and somehow spending a few moments with me and just, you know, laying bare their hearts and, uh, they're able to move on and I'm somehow able to help them move on, and I love doing that.

and all, you know, a lot of people.

Yes. So, and somehow, because I was in that state of deep concentration between, um, not fully asleep, not fully awake, it's, it's a really, it's a different plane actually, where you can have these conversations.

I was able to, uh, feel. The, the sense of importance of that moment when this conversation was happening with the archangels. And so they said, well, do you think you are supposed to be helping people with their grief? And I said, that feels right. And so they said, well, what do you think then? How about. Exploring that option and seeing if you wanna do that as your work.
