Despite Dr. Garg having no idea of what Earth Healing is, she was guided by Spirit to learn and support Earth Healing in Hawaii. Dr. Garg received clear messages from Queen Liliʻuokalani focused on both the Queen’s overwhelming grief and a step-by-step plan to heal Hawaii through art and community.
Smita and others received the Queen’s communications, and Smita sought local support through friends. Dr. Garg was guided to work in an environmental program called Aloha Response.
The Earth Healing came together through divine synchronicities and eventually involved honoring an existing sculpture on Waikiki Beach, Kapaemahu dance performances, and the Hawaii International Film Festival.

Dr. Smita Garg has been our guest a few times, and she always delivers an interesting, inspiring, and thought-provoking interview. This time is no exception. Earth healing must be done in many different parts of this world. Today, we're gonna talk about the work that Smita and friends did in Hawaii. We learn a lot about how messages to and from the other side can be delivered. One of the most fascinating parts of today's episode is to see how the method to conduct the earth healing was conveyed to Smita and how it was achieved by diverse people at different places. And we're talking, we're continuing our talk about Earth healing and how you were called to do this. Your guides told you it's v- you're doing a great job at what you're doing now, but we got something else for you. And you don't know anything about it, but we want you to do it." So at any rate and it's Earth healing, and there are a couple places on Earth that is not Southern California where You got very much involved. And w- and there's the two of them that I'm, that we're gonna talk about today is, are Hawaii and Japan. And let's talk about Hawaii first.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828and it's great to be continuing with our discussion because I feel like the time is right to share this message with others. so what happened was, I think in the previous episode we talked about how I got initiated on my mission, my earth healing mission,

And then the opportunity came. around the same time in 2020 I started to hear from great queen of Hawaii, Queen Liliuokalani, who had heard about her, but I hadn't really much about the history of her, reign Hawaii and what she had experienced. She was the last queen of Hawaii. When I started to hear from her, it was a little bit disorienting. It was like, "Why am I hearing? am I hallucinating?"

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828made me look into the history of her reign and her tenure in Hawaii and what happened historically. And the more I read, the more I realized the extent of her grief, and so the more she started to communicate with me. And then it wasn't just with me that she was communicating with.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828soul brother in Slovenia with who I've done a lot of healing work. We've channeled together. He also started to receive messages from her, and we

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828receiving these messages and sharing these messages. And these messages had two parts. One part was her grief, which was so overwhelming that every communication for, from her would just-- I would be totally in tears.
james_2_07-02-2026_144829Okay. That's tough. That that really is tough
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828it was hard. But then the other part of her message would be about how to heal Hawaii and how to bring about greater healing of this world. And I hadn't made a connection between my earth healing work and the messages coming from the queen.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Thought these were two separate events that were happening, and I'm used to it, having my fingers in multiple pots,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828So I thought, "Okay, there are these two separate events happening." And it was happening so often that she was communicating with me that at one point I said, "You know what? is actually happening. This is not you hallucinating," because her messages are very clear, when it came to what she wanted me to do.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828thought, "Wow, this is really interesting." So I started to look into any friends in Hawaii. I really didn't have any. And I strategized. I told the queen that we need to work on your grief because I'm I'm soaked in tears literally Time With me.
james_2_07-02-2026_144829gotta do something about that.
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828but then I also started to understand, in our previous podcast, I've talked about how guidance came through that I'm supposed to help people with their grief. so I realized that she was reaching out to me probably because I understood grief
james_2_07-02-2026_144829you're almost a grief specialist there for a period of time, really,

james_2_07-02-2026_144829a lot of people with grief, yes
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Yes. I said, I'm going to work with you your grief, and then I'm going to figure out how to do this work that you're asking me to do," which I have no way... I don't even know how this is going to happen. Again, I left it to my guides. I said, there's a reason, a good reason why she has approached me. I'm not going to ask, 'Why me?' But I am curious."

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828anyway I started to look for friends, any friends, any connection to Hawaii. And a dear friend of mine, PJ Hirabayashi, who is an international artist, actually, she had done a lot of workshops in Hawaii. She has friends there, and so I contacted her and I said, "This is going on." My beautiful friends that's where I feel like we need our tribe, my friends, they listened me out judgment. Not one of them said that, don't believe what you're hearing from the queen." So PJ actually put me in touch with a wonderful friend of hers lived in Hawaii. And this friend, Mariko, and I connected, and we became almost instantly really good friends. It

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828the right energy. We a lot of respect for each other's work. And Mariko and I started to talk about the queen, and Mariko actually is the daughter of prominent politician and also- Someone who fought for our country,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Being in the in the forces, armed forces. So she was totally clued into the history of Hawaii. And so she would fill me in all those, whatever happened and how much love people have for the Queen, still have for the

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828she's like a local sort of like guide, like
james_2_07-02-2026_144829Yep.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828many. She said, I have a friend who is a spiritual teacher. He teaches this program called Aloha Response, his name is Pono Shim." And he's also very active in like the, local community, not just as a spiritual teacher, but he is the head of the Oahu Board of Trading. He's very active in a very business community and political community and all of that. she said that, let me see if Pono would talk to you, because you could let him know what the Queen is saying, and maybe he has some ideas." So she connected me to Pono, and then Pono and I had a long meeting. all this time, I had so many doubts about like, why me? I'm not a Hawaiian. I'm not a native Hawaiian. I'm from India. I'm this... I had all these doubts like, is anyone in Hawaii going to believe what I have to share?
james_2_07-02-2026_144829Very natural to have those concerns, definitely
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Yes. And over the time that I've spent here in part of California, there's a lot of work that I have been involved in. I have friends who are involved in social justice work. They're involved in, programs that, that all about paying respect to our local native tribes all of that. So I wanted to be really sensitive to all of that and very careful and not be like this who just, you know, assumes that, "Oh, this information is coming to me." I had to come from a very humble place, ready to learn, and just be a pure instrument whatever needed To be done. Bono actually gave me that confidence because the entire time that we had our meeting, he had this incredible ability to be present, completely present. He listened to me intently patiently. I had a lot to share.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828just flowing out. Not once did he stop me to ask any questions. Not once did he doubt me. And that
james_2_07-02-2026_144829and to you that was v- a very important moment because here you are feeling all this doubt, you've got this load on you that, we want you to take over the earth healing and st- and you're like, "I don't know what to do." And then here's somebody and he believed everything. He jumped right in, into it. He... It was great
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And the only thing was he said, "Yeah, I know a couple other people who have been hearing from the Queen,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Yeah. to me, that was such a validation,
james_2_07-02-2026_144829I can't imagine it, how nice that was to hear that
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And the fact that he didn't care where I was from All he said was let all this come through, and let's just sit with this for a while and see what happens." And I said, "Okay. I believe you, and I will follow your advice. And meanwhile, I will just keep working with the Queen and her grief. And this other thing that she wants I'll step in when the time is right."

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828He did say that, we'll know when the time is right for that work to happen." And so that kind of, gave me a little bit of space to just not worry about how I was going to do this.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And it became okay, now maybe I have someone that I can depend on who can maybe, when the time is right, move things around and make this
james_2_07-02-2026_144829Nope. Nope
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828for the Queen. I actually left all of her, whatever she wanted me to do on the side, and just worked on deepening our connection and helping her with her grief. And then, as time went by, I think it was 2023, that my friend PJ and her taiko group, they celebrated their 50th year. And that's when Mariko flew in from Hawaii, and I met her in person for the first time. during that event, another dear friend, Pear, had actually made a film on the origins of San Jose Taiko and my friend PJ and Roy's to San Jose Taiko and the worldwide taiko community. this film It's a beautiful black and white sort of of their work There were film festivals that started to show that film, and it was during that pivotal moment when Carol and I had just finished doing the reincarnation symposium in San Jose, the energy was ripe, and then this event happened, is when I had a very clear vision got from that point onward. But in between, there were two things that happened. One, Pono invited me to join his Aloha Response program, and I, studied under him. as it turned out, very sadly, was the last cohort he taught because he passed away due to terminal cancer. I did have a thought in my head at the time. I said, "Oh my God, Pono's gone. How are we gonna-- What are we gonna do about the Queen's plan?" But I didn't know that the universe had already figured it out. So that's one. And the other thing that happened was Mariko, my friend, had gone to Waikiki Beach one day just on a whim and found these four beautiful healer stones, and the whole story around these healer stones that are called Kapaemahu. she sent me a video of those healer stones, and she said, "Smita, the Queen You had said the Queen had been talking about a sculpture on Waikiki Beach where she wanted dancing to happen around this, these sculptures." This one sculpture, she wanted dancing, she wanted the creatives to come together celebrate Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. And the Queen had told me very clearly that art is the way through which grief be released. And so arts, have to be brought into the fore. And so I said, "Okay." When I looked at the video, as I watched it, the video had a beautiful hum sound, like

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And, the closer you got to the stones, you realized that the humming was coming from the stones. And I said to Mariko right away, I said, "Mariko, this is it. This is the sculpture that we have been, wondering about." I was thinking that the queen had been saying that there has to be a sculpture on Waikiki Beach, and I thought, "Oh, we'd have to find a sculptor, and we'd..."

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Get to our city's arts commission pass, a resolution on a sculpture on Waikiki
james_2_07-02-2026_144829A nightmare. Yeah
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Yeah, and I was like, "Oh my God, this is it. It's already there, and it's been there all this time."
james_2_07-02-2026_144829And it has tremendous significance spiritually
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828it does. And so the more I delved into the history of Kapaemahu and those four healer stones, it was so clear that this is what she wanted. She had been guiding us, she had been pointing us to those healer stones all this time. In, this universe's language, I was deciphering it as a sculpture on the beach,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828So in 2023, move forward 2023, during this event that happened in San Jose I had a really clear vision, which I saw in my half-asleep, half-awake state, where I saw some of my friends and I standing near the healer stone and honoring them and also starting an earth healing activation

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And really connecting to the energy of the Kapaemahu. That's where somehow things started to move forward. One of the messages that came through is that Pear, my friend Pear's film needed to be sent off to the Hawaii International Film Festival. And I couldn't see the connection between the film and the healing healer stones, but move forward, everything into place like a beautiful puzzle that came together. So that was the point when I started to think about putting a team together because I saw, that vision

So I s- I started to put a team together with Marco's help, and we had a team of some of my healer friends and a few people in Hawaii who could help us. we would meet regularly. We would talk about, "Okay, at some point we are all going to fly to Hawaii and be there and do this beautiful work that the queen wants us to do." I was still scratching my head about how are we gonna find our hula groups?

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828we gonna find, artists to come forward and do anything with the stones? How is that going to happen? So no one was really sort of-- no one had the bandwidth for that, honestly, in the group. But I...

james_2_07-02-2026_144829Yep
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828I guess you could say that, when it comes to these things intention, your intention is what carries the energy forward. I had a very strong intention to fulfill the queen's desire. sometime In in one of the committee meetings we were having, one of the participants said, "Oh, I came across this interview. there is this wonderful hula group which is which has a wonderful leader, and he's done this interview with the TV station there, and he was guided somehow to, create this program honoring the healer stones. And he is auditioning hula groups across Hawaii to do just that."

james_2_07-02-2026_144829Yes. Without you. It's just happening.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And so I started to follow this leader's, this person's plan, his name, he's called Kumu Patrick. He actually has one foot in San Francisco. He has a hula group here, and then his hula group in Hawaii. We realized then that the Kapaemahu have also been honored through a beautiful animated feature, The producers of that animated feature actually turned out lived very close to Marco's home. Marco got in touch with them and they said, "Oh, this is very interesting." At this time I was still not sure when I was gonna go to Hawaii, when our group was gonna meet up there. That's when it started to become clear that Pear's film had been sent to the Hawaii International Film Festival for a reason.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And then we learned the very first dance performances for Ka Paʻaī Ma Hu were gonna happen at the same time that the film festival was running.
james_2_07-02-2026_144829You can't make this stuff up, it's wild. It's wonderful. The creatives, right? That's what

james_2_07-02-2026_144829to do. There's a filmmaker and the dancers and, oh my gosh
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828Yes. And as it happened, I kept my fingers crossed. One, please select Pearre's film," let it be an entry.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828It's an entry... Let it be selected for the film festival, okay? then the second wish was, may there not be a clash between the dates. I don't want to miss either the opening of the

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828honoring dances, the hula dances that Kumu Patrick was gonna do, and I didn't wanna miss Pearre's film's opening either in the Hawaii Film Festival. So I said, "God, please make everything flow, and please don't throw any of those challenges. Now that this thing is in motion,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828would like it to move, in a beautiful way." And everything fell into place. Pearre's film was shown on October 12th and 13th, two days, and the opening was scheduled for October 16th.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828it all worked out. had a beautiful time. 11 of us gathered near the Kapaemahu stones, the healer stones and we offered prayers. We offered activations and healing that we received from them, and the healing that we returned to them. It was just an incredible moment in time, personally for me. And for me to see that the Queen's wish was coming true.

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828And then there were times when she said, "I'm not sure if my film is gonna be accepted." I said, "Pearre, I have set a very strong intention. Do not even doubt it."
james_2_07-02-2026_144829Yes. Yes. Yes. Just get out of the way 'cause it's going forward. And,
squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828exactly. it was just beautiful. Her work was honored in the festival. We all got to go watch the film,

squadcaster-0d8h_2_07-02-2026_114828As a large group supporting her and supporting our friends PJ and Roy. And then we also got to go to the Ka Pa'i Ma Hu. We got to enjoy the beautiful opening ceremony with so many of our friends, so many of my new friends in Hawaii. It was a party, and that was another realization that the divine doesn't want us to... there is no connection between being sincere and between, really learning to enjoy and savor life. It doesn't mean you're not sincere, When you're with the right group of people, joy just flows, and that's what happening with us.
