The episode challenges the paradigm that humans are Earth’s only intelligent beings through an interview with Jonna Rae Bartges, the founder of the Practical Spirituality Institute.
As part of her Spirituality she was hired to be the resident psychic at a light center in Black Mountain North Carolina. While meditating at the light center, she physically saw an interplanetary being there in the room with her. Then, both the interplanetary being and Jesus Christ appeared together and exchanged blessings. Jesus spoke to Jonna Rae and told her that she had much to learn about light.
She also recounts banishing a reptilian-looking being near her husband and a lucid-dream encounter with a “magenta” humanoid who urged her to “get the word out,” .
Since that encounter with the Magenta alien, Jonna Rae's phone gallery started having unexplained magenta images appearing.

I know that when you were just a young girl and you were in school and they asked you to do a creative writing assignment, You caused some concern at your school. What was that all about?

And and then as the dream progressed, I was taken aboard the ship, and I was on the illuminated table, and the whole experience was, exciting and I didn't feel the least bit of fear. I was more curious about who is this person and what's going on and how cool is this. And so I did a creative writing story and my teacher was a little concerned because this was way beyond what the other kids were writing about and had a chat with my parents, and it's just always been a, a normal thing. And they're like, "What?" So I learned even at the ripe old age of 10, we do not discuss this. But

And she was doing this this big conference to bring people together, create a healing atmosphere, and,

And but then the evening that she did the healing ceremony, she was on the stage talking to people and she had me standing in front of the stage. There were six big burly guys, three on either side of me. People would come up to me, I would put my hands on them, and they would pass out, and the guys would catch them and gently lay them down. Then I would put my hands on the people, and I would feel all these things moving around inside of them. And so that was my introduction, really, to a spiritual healing conference. And then that night I was so overwhelmed with this and I felt this energy rising up through me. And Sandy and I were sitting out by the pool that night, and I was just crying because it was just so overwhelming. And I looked up at the sky and you know that netting that's around oranges and things like that at the store?

Sometimes you and I joke about some of these things that happened to you. You say, "Oh, that's just-- it was just Tuesday." So in other words, it was just another day in my life. Is that what this was, just Tuesday? Oh my gosh.

I was offered a full-time position as a reporter for the Allentown Morning Call newspaper the summer of my junior year. So for my senior year, I was working full-time at the paper and finishing up at Lehigh University. That's where I officially got my degree from. But I became the first woman and the youngest national editor at the paper. But by the time I was 24, because these things kept happening to me, it kept being Tuesday, I had to find out, okay, am I psychic or am I psychotic? It could be a fine line here. And I quit my fast-track job and a perfectly respectable career path and went on what turned out to be a two-year spiritual quest to find out what is happening

And it must have been very significant to you that this other aspect of you was very important, and it wasn't something you were brought up with as let's go to the metaphysical, let's go into the spiritual. That just wasn't your home life. But you now, you were on your own, and you had these experiences, and you just decided to make a huge life change and go on a spiritual quest. I, I don't suppose that was very well at the home front.

Then I floated back up the stairs and into my little body, and I came running down and said, "I was just here in the kitchen and you were talking about Mr. Moyer and Spitzy, and I was floating right there, and you didn't see me." And then they said, "Oh, you have such a great imagination. That was just a dream. That didn't happen." And one night I was by myself in this big dome and praying, meditating, and I was awake. I was not sleeping. I was not having a vision. I was just meditating and I felt a presence. I opened my eyes and there was this very strange looking thing with a little head and a skinny, gangly body, and it levitated up to one of the triangular shaped ceilings.

And so I immediately invoked the protection of Christ, this, this white light affirmation that I love to use all the time and share with people. And then suddenly Christ appeared in the dome. Again, I'm not sleeping, I'm not hallucinating. He was there in this golden light, and He and the being exchanged like namaste greetings. It's like they knew each other and respected each other. And then Jesus turned to me and He said in a kind voice, "You have a lot to learn about light." Meaning that just because something doesn't look like us or we're not familiar with it, doesn't mean that it's negative, that it's not spiritual in nature. So that was a huge awakening for me.

Jesus comes and is "Hey man, what's going on?" It wasn't... were, they... It wasn't odd thing that they talked to each

They're all coming from a heart-centered spiritual place where they're sharing blessings with Christ. And I got awake and this dark reptilian-looking thing was starting to bend over the bed towards Paul, and without even thinking, I just said, "I banish you in the name of Jesus Christ," and it was gone.

Even the ones that aren't warm and friendly can't control us unless on some level we allow it. It's okay to feel that, but it's not okay to stay in that frequency, in that, lower energy. I love how the late neuroimmunologist Dr. Candace Pert talked about the fact that our emotions are what link our physical form with our mental, emotional and spiritual self. And so anytime we try to deny our emotions and sweep them under the rug, it's like worry about that later, what we're doing is we're disassociating, and we're not gonna be grounded. We're not gonna be strong. We're not gonna be able to access that energy that rises up that lets us be radiating this light, radiating this, this positive energy. And something that I find fascinating about all of this, it's all in the New Testament in 1 Corinthians chapter 12, and this is where the Corinthians are being told everyone has at least one gift of the Spirit, whether it's prophecy, speaking to the dead, doing miracles healing, and we have an obligation to use these spiritual gifts. And so people who would say, "You're doing the work of the devil," it's like, yeah then he's doing a really bad job because all of this stuff is in the Bible

james_1_07-04-2026_131813I w- I wanna talk a little bit now, we're gonna change a little bit of the directions and from these personal physical observations that you've had to something a little bit different, and that is called a lucid dream. you and I were talking again to prepare today, and I asked you what was the difference between a normal dream and a lucid dream, and you gave a very good example. Could you give that again, please?

We're here talking, but you're seeing that in your mind's eye, and you're hearing what's being said. You're watching the video of it. And that, that memory really that's playing out in your mind's eye, that's like an, a normal dream state where you're observing it, and in a lucid dream, you jump into that movie and you are telling Marty McFly, "Okay, now really you're going back into the past now, and here, look out for this now." Look out for what, the, the mean people are gonna be saying to you and just and you're interacting with what's going on. It's like you're consciously involved in the story that's unfolding, and you have the opportunity to change how it plays out,

And those of us who went to school like in the '60s and '70s might remember sniffing the ink off the mimeograph, test papers and stuff. But there...

she-ra--goddess-of-the-infinite_1_07-04-2026_131813one of those, and then standing to my left was like an average height, very humanoid-looking man. His skin was a, a magenta color. He was wearing like a, a lilac-colored spacesuit. His eyes were human but very big. Head-- skull was slightly elongated with some ridges on it, and I didn't feel the least bit of fear or anything. I just felt such wisdom and compassion coming from him. And so I'm looking at him, and then I look at the mimeograph machine, and I say to him, "Look, let me go back to my office, and I'll get my computer and my printer. It's a lot more modern than this." And then he telepathed at me. It's almost like I could feel him rolling his little alien eyes and saying, "Okay, this is just symbolic. This is a representation to tell you it's important that you do more to get the word out." And then I got awake shortly after that, and I'm thinking, "Wow, that was a cool dream." And then I realized, oh my God, I was on a ship because the big round room that was empty except for this mimeograph machine it was on a higher, spiritual frequency that I couldn't see the details with my human eyes. So I couldn't see the other beings on the ship. I couldn't see all the equipment or anything. I could just see what he had lowered his frequency for me to see, him, and then-

I wanna just make sure that point is clear and that because you weren't, like you said, you weren't able to be communicating with a, a group of these beings because they had not lowered down to our level. They're at a very high level. And but this being wanted to communicate with

And a- an analogy that I like to use is we're at a concert, we're watching a symphony orchestra, we're saying, "Oh my gosh, the music is so beautiful." And there's a professional musician sitting in the row in front of us, and they turn around and they say, "The second violin is flat and it has ruined the whole thing." And we're like, "Oh my God, how can they hear that?" Because they studied and practiced to expand that spectrum, that auditory spectrum that they experience sound at. And so the same way that I could only see the guy that had lowered his frequency so that I could see him, when we work to expand our frequency of what we're able to perceive, the same way that the musician works to expand their auditory spectrum and what they can, perceive, we have the ability to be seeing more and more. There's all this stuff around us, but we're seeing a very limited part of the spectrum right now. But the cool thing about the alien, when I realized I was on the ship, and I was thinking this is really cool. And a couple days later, I was walking my puppy dog, Obi-Wan, he's a Mickey, my little lab pit puppy dog. We're in our favorite park, and I always take pictures of him, 'cause it's beautiful. The trees and the trail and the stream, the whole thing. And then our our thing is we get back in the car to come home, but first I look at the pictures and delete the ones I don't wanna keep. And so I'm looking at the pictures and there's one that's dark and just a really faint like purplish thing in the center. And I thought, "I didn't take that," and I deleted that. And then the next picture was similar, but the, the inside of it was a little bit lighter. And I thought, "I didn't take that," and I deleted that. And then I realized I didn't take those, and so I brought them back. And then there were two more pictures in this first download and each one was getting a lighter and lighter magenta color in the center of the image. And then I thought, "Okay, that center is the exact color of my magenta alien skin." And through the, the following months, this was in 2004 when I first had my first encounter with him. And in the years since, I have repeatedly gotten more stills that just show up in my photo gallery, and I'm also getting videos with sound. And basically it's all dealing with light, so I know that there's information to be deciphered in there. And- Yeah.

And he was looking at them and he said, "No." So that's I'm getting texts from an alien. So I, I think that's pretty exciting

And one of the things that we're going to talk about a little more, and we are gonna do a second episode on this right after we finish, and we're almost finished for this episode, is that spirituality of these interplanetary beings they're just as spiritual as we are. I don't know if they may be much more spiritual, but just as I feel, confident that I have a soul and that I am here and I'm gonna be-- back in another life and I'm gonna live eternally and I have a s- that... so do these interplanetary beings, and we're gonna talk about that next time. And it's something that we all need to think about 'cause I d- I didn't... Before we talked about this, I, would see a picture of a alien or see a movie that, with an alien, with-- I s- we call alien. That that's what I'm calling an interplanetary being.
