The Book of Ruth: Grace in the Fields (Ruth 2:1-13) - Week 2

Welcome back to week 2 of our series on the Book of Ruth. In this sermon, we look at God’s provision and kindness through the story of Ruth’s encounter with Boaz. Focusing on Ruth 2:1-13, along with insights from Leviticus 19:9-10 and Deuteronomy 24:19-22, we see how God’s laws provided for the vulnerable, encouraging generosity and compassion for the poor and the foreigner. Ruth, a foreign widow, steps out in faith to glean in the fields, and God leads her to Boaz, a man of integrity and kindness. Through this encounter, we learn about God’s grace, the beauty of His provision, and how He works through others to care for those in need.
