In the final chapter of the Book of Ruth, we witness the beautiful culmination of God’s redemption plan. Ruth 4 reveals the fulfillment of Boaz’s role as the kinsman-redeemer, a practice rooted in Leviticus 25 and Deuteronomy 25. As Boaz redeems Ruth and Naomi, we see a powerful parallel to Christ’s redemption of us. Through their union, the line of David—and ultimately, the lineage of Jesus—is established (Matthew 1:1-6, 16). Join us as we explore how God's providence, restoration, and grace are displayed in this story, reminding us that He takes our brokenness and restores it for His glory.
