Abide: Walking in the Light (1 John 1:1-10) - Week 1

In the first week of our Abide series, we explore what it means to have true fellowship with Christ and walk in the light. Beginning with 1 John 1:1-10, we see the foundational truth that Jesus is the eternal Word, the one who was from the beginning (John 1:1-5, Genesis 1:1). The call to abide in Him is a call to repentance, as Martin Luther famously said, "When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said 'Repent,' he meant that the entire life of believers should be repentance."
