In Week 11 of our Welcomed. series, we explore the powerful truth that the gospel doesn't merely change what we believe—it transforms how we see and love people.

In Acts 16:16–40, we encounter a remarkable collection of unlikely people brought together by the grace of God: a wealthy businesswoman, a formerly demon-oppressed slave girl, and a Roman jailer. Though their backgrounds, experiences, and social standing could not have been more different, each is welcomed into the family of God through the same gospel.

As Paul and Silas endure opposition, injustice, and imprisonment, we see the contrast between a culture of welcome rooted in self-interest and the welcome of Jesus that begins with God. The gospel expands our vision of who God loves, reshapes our identity, and empowers us to love others with courage, humility, and grace—even in the midst of suffering.

Join us as we discover how the welcome of Jesus transforms both our hearts and our relationships, creating a new kind of community centered on God's grace rather than our preferences.
