Addiction2Recovery
We will evaluate, discuss and educate on all types of addiction topics. However, we will highlight the nuanced differences between the medical field (Dr. Heather- Addiction Physician) and those with the disease of addiction (Josh- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist). Episodes will not only bring you the specifics of addiction including the neurobiology of addiction and how that translates into the 'real world' but they will also bring you interviews from individuals in early or long-term recovery, therapists, family members, friends, clergy, treatment providers and so much more! We would love to hear from you, whether you have a question, suggestion, recommendation, request or even if you'd like to be a guest on the show!

87. Tusi- Pink Cocaine
Tusi, originally getting its name from the synthetic compound 2C-B, also has been called 'pink cocaine' gets its name, as expected, from its distinctive pink color. This party drug, however, contains very little, if any, 2C-B or cocaine, rather, it is a cocktail of many other substances. The most common components are ketamine (and its precursor), MDMA, caffeine, meth, and, to add another level of risk, on occasion, fentanyl. In some places of the world, it is more desired than cocaine, and there's now an entire new world of underground enterprise and trafficking.
