Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:

It's dry, it's dry.

Speaker 2:

Please, thank you Okay live in action.

Speaker 1:

Live in action. Welcome back to one of the episodes of the season opener I'm proud to present. Jay Verde is here in the building and we're at a beautiful military lake. Check it out, guys.

Speaker 2:

Beautiful scenery Check it out.

Speaker 1:

Yes, this is the first time ever that I'm doing this. I've been brewing on this idea for years. I've been wanting to do something like this, whether it was the beach, whether it was the lake, oh yeah, but being able to have somebody as loyal and supportive like yourself and like Rockstar Turtle to be like you know what. Let's just do it. Let's make it come to life.

Speaker 2:

Let's make it come to life. Yes, respect, respect, respect come to life. Make it come to life, yes, respect.

Speaker 1:

Respect, respect. And we just got to say cheers, cheers to you guys. Cheers to season three. We're excited. Thank you, ivan's. In the background, I can't leave you hanging, come on. Oh yeah, cheers. But I do want to say is thank you, guys, thank you for being here, and I'm here and I'm excited for this episode, and I'm excited just to just to look and be like you know what? This ain't green screen, this is an actual. We're guys. This ain't no green screen.

Speaker 2:

yeah, yeah, we fucking walked over here, fucking heavy breathing yeah, just to find this spot, to get this spot and I'm glad that you know we found this spot. At the time we came, yeah, but man, this fool, he came, he came to me and rockstar turtle and said guys, I want to do this. I thought it was crazy, so out the box.

Speaker 1:

But we had to do it, yeah, yeah. And crazy how the ideas come and they form. And then now we're here. Yeah, true that, true that, yeah, I want to thank you too, bro.

Speaker 2:

Just for you know, inviting us invited me and rockstar just to be here. Bro, like, of course it's a blessing, bro, I didn't even I didn't want to be here. No, I didn't think I was gonna be in a place like this at this time, you know. Yeah, so since you told me I was like man, bro, it's needed fuck, yeah, it's much needed.

Speaker 1:

It just shows like, fuck, this is. I think one of the things that I said is this was only like 45 minutes away from fresno. Oh shit, yeah, yeah, and it's just crazy how close it is to fresno and just you know what. We're gonna make the best out of these opportunities and and I'm blessed that we're we're doing this and we're able to have have this going um, so, yeah, let's go ahead. Let's go ahead. Let's roll the intro before we continue on this episode broke boys, we the guys.

Speaker 3:

We make it out alive. I'll never leave my dogs behind. We stick together like we signed. We shooting stars, one of a kind. We undefeated, just resign.

Speaker 2:

Money more low than a bitch nowadays. Don't talk to a taco. You can't do the walk.

Speaker 3:

Again brother again.

Speaker 2:

I know, just like in every podcast, you have bro Shout out to everybody who does, though, like Rockstar Turtle? You know the way he made this song, bro. It's cool. You know it's cool, it's cool. Maybe, maybe later it's gonna be super different, I don't know. But like as of right now, like that's what he is and this is like I'm so glad he fucking you guys could come together and click up and collaborate on that absolutely, and it was beautifully made and just it fits.

Speaker 2:

It fits the vibe it fits the whole thing so big shout out big shout out to tortuga stay tuned, guys, stay tuned yeah yeah, yeah, hell, yeah, that's all we can say.

Speaker 3:

That's all we can say.

Speaker 1:

We'll let him talk, you know come back 2025 um one of the conversations that we had yesterday, the deep conversations. We were talking about how Culture and not being seen as Bless you, bless you, you, good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, my man Trying not to laugh at you, nah, nah my man, you were holding it in no, stupid ass beer. I got a burp and then at the same time I was like I was gonna hold it because I was like it ain't shit. And then just fucking threw me, bro. I was like you're good, yeah, I don't want to interrupt you, but I did not go ahead.

Speaker 1:

Um, but we were talking about culture last night. Yeah, last night respect.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I also want to thank you for that, bro, it was me and Turtle there. I pulled up to Martin's pad. He gave us the time and opportunity. You know, just a good talk, yeah, good talk.

Speaker 1:

No content, no work, just good talk, good talk, just the vibe, just to reconnect and see how everybody's doing and that's the of our friendship and our bond. Yeah, so for sure, like it. It was just one of those topics that we talked about. It was like fuck, we, we were trauma, dumping, I guess all all last night. Yeah, we all went through, we all have gone through through amounts of trauma and amounts of stuff that we just never talked about as as men. But we, we all relate in the aspect of like fuck. We grew up in a Hispanic toxic environment where we have to be like nah, you got to thug it out on your own.

Speaker 2:

I ain't going to lie, man, you do got to thug it out, but it's like, at the end of the day, like every man has their own like how would I put it? They have their own moments when there's like I've you. You know, when you're going to sleep alone or you're alone in one moment, you're at work or somewhere driving yeah, something just pops up in your head. You know something, what do you say? Some trauma, shit just pops up in your head randomly and just you know that shit hurts, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And then you gotta come back to life again, you gotta act like you, just gotta smile through it you know, no, I, I 1000.

Speaker 1:

I understand that, because there's times where I like, uh, I go out of town, it's just like you can't. There's moments where I'm like I can enjoy this, I can enjoy the vibe I can but then the little part of me is just like bye, if you're spending money, because you're spending money, yeah subconscious.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm back in your head. You know like where you come from. Yeah, yeah, what they told you and all that boys like no, save your money, don't blow it off.

Speaker 1:

And it's just like what? Am I saving my money for just the one day to die? The money ain't gonna come with me.

Speaker 2:

You just gotta pay for a coffee now I know, I understand all that, save your money. But like, like, say today, shout out martin, shout out broke boys, you got a generator. Not just that, but it's a soundless generator. Yeah, yeah, I know he showed it to you, but I'm just talking to talking about it again because I'm impressed, bro, I'm really impressed because I never knew they made them like that. Yeah, so you know, like that, like Mexican Hispanic family would tell you oh bro, that's what are you doing? Bro, like it's a lot of money. You could have saved it for bills. Yeah, save it. I'm like, bro, at the end of the day, it's an investment. It's like we got to be out here, not just that, but it's like for you guys, you guys get to see all this. Well, like you guys, you guys get to be a part of this it's just entertaining.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he thought of you guys. He didn't think just think of you himself, but he thought of you guys and like everything, like content, everything right. So that's why it's mad respect, bro, like something that like hispanic family can't see yeah we didn't like you said.

Speaker 1:

You try to make an impact, trying to be bigger yeah yeah, absolutely, and it's just like uh, I, you, you said it best, like I do it for everyone else to see and everyone else to to realize it takes balls, though, to think about like. Think about other people, yeah, and to for me, I think I'm not afraid of experimentation, I'm not afraid of throwing myself out there, whether it's going to do good or whether it does completely shit.

Speaker 3:

Respect, brother, because at the end of the day.

Speaker 1:

It's my content and it's my love of the game and it's my love of what I do and what I create, and I'm going to bring that to life and I'm going to show it and share it with all you guys.

Speaker 2:

I like that. Yeah, yeah, respect, bro, that ain't no greedy shit, you know. Yeah, in this world where we can all eat, let's just help each other.

Speaker 1:

You know For sure, I've been on that, I've been on that If we eat together, I'm not going to be the only one eating. You guys all get a plate on the table. Oh yeah, most definitely.

Speaker 2:

Only because it's like this is how I put it. I tell Rockstar all the time I was like If you eat, that means I eat. Yeah, if I win, that means you win, just like you know, you can't go wrong with it, you can't go wrong, you can't. Yeah, you can't go wrong.

Speaker 1:

You can't Cause it's. It's the saying of I wanna see you eat. It's not on my table.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, man, you heard that Rockstar Nah.

Speaker 3:

He's like fuck you guys.

Speaker 2:

I should have saved you man. No, I get you, mina, but that's why I try to stay solid with my circle and shit. I want to see you eat. It would hurt to see you eat over there because I know it's more fun over here, but that's why I try to stay with you guys. It's my circle, it's my clique.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure, I try to keep up with everybody, try to make sure that everybody knows.

Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm still here, yeah, and then I didn't switch up.

Speaker 1:

I'm not changing up like whenever you guys need something, come to me no, yeah, I'm still here.

Speaker 2:

You said that plenty many times, bro. That's something. At this point I'm like well, I've been knowing how solid you are, but it's like, bro, like I'll put it bro, like I know, you know like I know I know like, like, when you know a song from heart, type of shit, like I already know how you are, know how this was blah blah like yeah that's all like staying in touch with the circle, bro, like, if you don't like imagine being someone that you don't know how he is, yeah, shit, like that, yeah yeah, I get you, I get you on that.

Speaker 1:

But man, it's so fucking beautiful out here. It feels good too, too, we got a good day, especially being in.

Speaker 2:

Fresno.

Speaker 3:

Yes, every day is hot.

Speaker 2:

Yes, it became the perfect day today. Yeah, yeah, just to see the whole thing.

Speaker 1:

There's people riding the boats, people on jet skis, people just there's families yeah, a bunch of families.

Speaker 2:

Family day today.

Speaker 1:

No, it's not connecting, but you say what you want. It's a beautiful day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, everyone's out here with their family. It's a time of, you know, just being together.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, ooh he put it best. He put it best. Season three is a time to be together.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, papa Rockstar, Papa Rockstar. In the back, papa Smurf looking ass, papa Smurf.

Speaker 2:

No, yeah, he said it best it's time to be together. Why fucking be separate?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so how you been with your guys' music or with you. How's it going? What's new projects? What are new things that you're working on right now?

Speaker 2:

I know, last time I was here I told you I was going to release a new song, but I just haven't been able to Because I had already made a song but I needed to follow it up with content. Yeah yeah, you know. Drop the content to that. Make sure people are entertained not just by the audio, but like give them a good video, a good visual.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

A little visualizer. Good lyrics, yeah, because everybody likes something different, so I don't want to just cut them short. Yeah, you want to give everybody a piece, yeah, a piece of everything, yeah, yeah. So I was trying to finish off with that Shout out with Promethazine, but nowadays, me and Rockstar especially because that fool he's been my engineer, so me and that fool has been cooking up where we want to come up with, like for Jay Verde, a whole new song, a whole new sound. So he's been like because's really good at like making melodies, like I'm good at that rapping shit, he is too, but he's really good at making melodies. A song like as you heard with your song, yeah, like it's just catchy, like on boom, boom. So I've been trying to, you know, really take some insight from him. Yeah, oh shit, we got bombs dropping.

Speaker 1:

There's a helicopter. We got a chapter on somewhere. Yeah, yeah, it's right there helicopter right here is it the?

Speaker 2:

ambulance it looks like it's.

Speaker 1:

No, it's like the firefighter no, it's like the firefighters thread this is live.

Speaker 2:

This is live on the brookways. Oh yeah, yeah, it's right there. I don't know if you can see it no, that shit looks like a private one bro no, it does look it's smaller. It's smaller like a private one, that's money right there bro oh, that's my helicopter, brother looking for jay verdes he's, he's leaving.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I gotta go that's just tied, bro.

Speaker 2:

That's your scope. No, no, bro, that's. It was nice. It was like a albergue type of yeah that's crazy. A nice circle back, you know. Hopefully we all can see it. Yeah, that she was nice, though that's nice. A custom might circle back. Hopefully y'all can see it. Yeah, that shit was nice, though that's nice. A custom chopper, bro. Did you imagine?

Speaker 1:

that dude. That's crazy. One day, One day, manifest it. One day, you guys are going to have your guys' own little private helicopter.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, fuck it Just to drop off food. Oh yeah, bro, that'd be nice people need. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Oh yeah no. But yeah, bro, like we were saying just that, like me, a rock star been trying to cook up because he's really good at just making music in general. So that's why, you know, I try to click up with him and, thank god, I'm grateful too that he's able to show me new stuff too as well, like you know yeah really being there, because that would sing like a.

Speaker 2:

So I'm really trying to not sing, but like making real melodies, you know, cationes, type of yeah sure you can sing in the shower, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, like that. So that's what we've been trying to cook out, trying to come up with. So he's been like helping me make a because I made, like I know I showed you one, I'm gonna, he's gonna show you the one from yesterday.

Speaker 1:

You need to post that one.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that was just one of like three of them that we went through trying to figure out like a new sound, a new wave, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, like I said for the next one, I'm trying to make it a little more entertaining, a little more heartfelt, you know, emotional, like really great, and it's a different it's a different vibe and it's a different like you're experimenting, you're more open-minded and I love that man.

Speaker 1:

Like you have such a palette of music in your. You're just an artist. Yeah, yeah, no cav, yeah, no cav. Putting that on the canvas, bro, and you have the tools and and luckily, jay ready is right there to help you too, or sorry, yeah I understand.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, that's why, um, I mean, I give this full respect too, like you said, loyalty bro, he doesn't have to do that shit Cause he can look at me as competition bro. Yeah, he'd be like, nah, I ain't gonna help his ass bro, what the fuck. But I told him Kinda like I told you, bro, at the end of the day it's just friendly competition, you know, like Bar for bar bro, word for word, melody for melody and it's just work.

Speaker 1:

It's just like hey, let's do this Outwork one another.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah it's like good vibes, yeah, yeah, it's just like.

Speaker 1:

It ain't on a Envious shit, cause there's people that are like that that show envious and it's just like. Nah, I'm not trying To one up you If anything, it's just like you see how I'm here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, try to out. Like in my head I don't know why there's no such thing as one up, because it's like everybody's super different to me. Yeah, you know. So it's like you make this type of music or you do this, you dress like this, you talk like this, like, and I'm like this, even if we like a certain type of things, like there's a certain uniqueness to all of us. Wow, you know.

Speaker 2:

So that's why I'm like that's deep, I could never, ever hate it. Like it's weird, there's not a hating bone In my body, like I'm telling Ryan. Like it's so weird, bro, I wish I could hate, like y'all, nah, but I but like I just can, bro, cause, like I know, everybody's unique and everybody's like they try to. Even if right now it's not good, I know, give it some time, it's gonna be good. Yeah, Even that's why I just don't judge, bro. I'm like don't judge, bro, don't judge. Oh, fuck, yeah, you never know who will be something later in life as well. Yes, even if they're not going to be nothing, bro, I'd rather respect him bro, I respect everybody, like the rich man to the janitor, bro, they're all the same, bro, but everybody has that uniqueness. Yeah for sure.

Speaker 2:

Yeah fuck, yeah, it does Start choosing the wrong friends and bullshit like that.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, following with that. Yeah, trust me, I get you Fuck all that Start crying right now.

Speaker 2:

That's some real shit.

Speaker 3:

Shedding tears, shedding tears.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I had to break that beer. Beer got me.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I try to stick that to my music as well, bro. That's why, like, I'm able to collaborate with artists and stuff like that, because I know you bring something different and I bring something different, so I might as well, like you said, make it big make an impact? Yeah, and you are.

Speaker 1:

You're definitely making an impact. Even Jay Verde, both of you guys, I keep saying Jay Verde you guys are making moves, little by little, you guys are setting up the plays and it's going to work. And it's going to come together and it takes its time, but, for sure, slowly but surely, it's that steady pace of it going and it's working. Trust, man, trust.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I try telling him too, Because every now and then I get overwhelmed and shit, I'm like bro, am I even doing enough? Is this enough? And I'm like bro, like you're working, it's all right. So I told him. I was like bro, we're moving. Sometimes it might seem like we're moving slow, you know, day by day, or even it could be like two days, when you don't do shit. You know, because you're just out of it, bro. That's why I try to tell him like bro, don't even trip. Maybe on the third day we're gonna do a whole day of just work. Yeah, so you better be ready for that. Yeah, so I'll try not to trip on the whole.

Speaker 1:

You know, take your time yeah, that's what is it mental health.

Speaker 2:

No, that's just more important to me, bro.

Speaker 1:

Fuck all that prioritizing a lot of things, like it takes uh, it takes a minute to sit there and then digest that hey, there's issues, there's stuff that's going on in the background. I know I've dealt with that a lot and I just learned to bury myself in projects oh yeah trying to do that, but then it comes back to the whole thing of overwhelming yourself.

Speaker 1:

You're doing it by yourself, you're you're trying to figure everything out and trying to get everything done, but you're losing time. You don't have enough time to do this, and yeah, it makes sense.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh yeah. It's just fucking frustrating at times, you know, yeah, but I mean, that's what comes with it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

It costs to be the boss. You know, Like not a lot of people like responsibilities, Mm-hmm. So if you really want it, you're going to break your head.

Speaker 1:

You're going to break your head. It's your content. It's however you want it, yeah, fuck all that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, no for sure Trabajo, yeah, fuck, yeah, I don't know, bro, that's part of things like my mom taught me too. Just like, just help people, bro, you know. Yeah, even if, say, we are on the same vibe, where you're higher than me in whatever way, I can still help you in whatever way. Bro, will there be just a cool-ass conversation? Yeah?

Speaker 1:

And it's just, I think, forever, forever, and I'll say this to both of you guys I'll never see myself as like I'm up here, we all grew up together. We all understood one another. We've been through shit one another. We've been there for one another. That doesn't change the level of hey, I'm there for you, you're there for me. Whatever you need help with, just tell me I got you respect.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah yeah, it's important to stay humble yeah, stay level-headed, yeah, yeah, and not be big-headed or air-headed or let your ego fuel you to making the wrong decisions or or thinking that you're above everyone else I mean because, at the end of the day, it's like you are, you know, it's like what's stopping me from being like bro?

Speaker 2:

I'm jay already, you and you yeah you know, like yeah, yeah. So it takes a certain type of like real, you know you gotta grab your balls and be like nah, bro, don't be like that. Don't be like that, even if this person right here is lower than me in whatever way yeah. I can't do that, bro. It's like the like you said.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what he's been through, I know what and then it's just like you, nobody, nobody knows what happens behind closed doors.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a good day today, all the families around man. But yeah, bro, uh, with the shit, I'm just trying to bring in More, more English, more Spanish as well.

Speaker 1:

More culture, more culture as well, I know, I've seen the music video. Oh yeah, that whole cartel vibes Like Shout out Promethazine, shout out Promethazine, yeah. Shout out RP Tiburon, tiburon, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Shout out Rockstar Turtle. For y'all who haven't seen it go. I mean, I haven't even shouted it out. You know, with Promethazine Video On YouTube by Jay Verde, and then you got Rockstar Turtle On there acting as well. That's the best part of it. That's the Like, literally that's the best part. I got that for the act. So yeah, bro.

Speaker 3:

You did your thing, bro.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Closing the door. You were out there in the what.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, in the country.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh damn.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, put the whole little outfit on. Yeah, it took me a minute, bro, like a whole fucking month, because this fool was telling me too, he's like, bro, so is it done, is it done, is it done? I was like oh, I'm trying, bro, I didn't like. And then I had to do this, this and that, or saw something that I wanted to add, oh, okay. And when I thought I was done with it, then I went to, I pulled up to rockstar turtle and he was like oh, dude, you should do this to it. Oh, he was like to the, to the spanish parts. Put it with english lyrics yeah, yeah, yeah, and that should made a whole. It made a difference. Yeah, it made a difference, because now it made it look like a little netflix series. Yeah, yeah. So I was like oh, that's Ty. So if that fool would have never told me like, it would have been different.

Speaker 1:

So how long was the process?

Speaker 2:

Fuck bro, all together maybe like because I was really, it was my first time putting something together like this. So at least what? Like a month, bro? Because, yeah, at least a month To put this together.

Speaker 1:

And then the recording. Like you guys did that one day, one night.

Speaker 2:

It was one night, one night, yeah, but before that. What I didn't tell him is that I had already recorded all those parts by myself, so his parts were me, but like I wasn't going to post it, it was just me trying to see what it would look like. What it would look like yeah, all right, say this, say that, and then I'm gonna give them the script and shit. Yeah, oh, okay, okay. So first I did a whole ass like by myself recorded and shit, a whole ass screenplay, just so I could see how kind of maneuver it, because it was my first time, so you know shit like that. Yeah, yeah, mmm, that's tight, yeah.

Speaker 1:

You really got into the whole directive.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, bro, fuck, yeah. So especially even now, bro, like when you told me like you got me on anything, bro, it's like I know, like with Rockstar Turtle, with the comeback bro, like I know we can make a dope ass video to that, especially now that I'm, like you said, trying to get into my culture as well and then my own vibe, my own fucking space.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

They say broke boys.

Speaker 1:

Broke boys, broke boys.

Speaker 2:

Not yet, bro. That's what we're trying to do, though, fucking, like you said, get more into our culture, bro. You know, yeah, it was hard, bro. It was hard not trying to not finding yourself.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I think that's one thing that we talked about too yesterday. It was growing up in Fresno. We had a specific way of like living, yeah, Like like. We grew up and feeling that pressure of fitting in, yeah, oh yeah, because it was more.

Speaker 2:

I mean, well, we went to schools where you kind of had to fit, not how to fit in, but like you had to be clean and shit you had to not be extra weird for you know shit like that.

Speaker 1:

And then there would be people that be like how can I say it without offending people? He's a rock star? Um, no, but we definitely. It was a dynamic of like you know what you had to fit in in the rap, like I think it's just yeah, because you know in the hood, in the hood yeah, especially. I guess I could say especially too.

Speaker 2:

It's like Coming from like Mexican, just Mexican, parents, you know, being the first Mexican American, like. It's just Like I think Turtle said it best Shout out to his first song. You know, exclusive, I mean his first song, his comeback song, exclusive. He said it. I don't wanna just, you know, put it out there. He said, um, first generation.

Speaker 2:

So it was kind of hard type of thing, bro, yeah, yeah, so like that bar yeah, that bar, bro, that bar had a oh, first generation and I figured it out on my own, bro. Yeah, so that bar kind of hit because it's like it's real, it it's like you had to kind of have that fit into being American. Yeah, yeah, so my whole life, bro, too, I mean my mom used to dress me up with my little boots and shit, my little Tejana. I was cool with it until I started growing up and like everybody would listen to, like rap, lil Wayne, this and that you know, like embarrassed to be myself embarrassed of, like of embracing the culture.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, fuck, yeah, bro yeah because, like I said, we grew up in in a dynamic where that was rejected. Yeah, because for a minute it was hell. Yeah, it was because you would try to go and any sort of hispanic attire, mexican boots, charriadas yeah, be like look at this paisa.

Speaker 2:

And then everybody would be like damn look at this Mexican.

Speaker 1:

And you'd get clowned yeah, and everybody would clown you. And then you know like again you have that pressure of trying to fit in and trying to get girls right and trying to like you know, but then you end up being seen as a clown or seen as like less fortunate.

Speaker 2:

It's just like fuck it. Yeah, you have. You try your best to fit in, yeah, yeah, so you got to switch it up to fucking some levi's and some nikes.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so like fucking air forces yeah, I remember growing up like I always had my air forces, my jordans. I would try to have whatever I could make out of an outfit, whether it be like a polo shirt or some shit. Like you know, because I grew up just r and Dee Dee's, I didn't have no brand shirts, no brand anything, shoes, like I would work nah, same bro.

Speaker 2:

Same same same. What else was there? There's another one, it's called TJ Maxx.

Speaker 1:

TJ Maxx brother fuck yeah, bro, hell yeah and I just remember just that's just what I grew up with, you know. And then on the weekends, like if we did charreadas With my dad or anything like that.

Speaker 2:

I remember that shit, yeah, me and this. We used to see each other Like charreadas, haripels, haripels and all that. Yeah, I remember you'd be the one Riding horses and shit.

Speaker 1:

I was like, and then it was a.

Speaker 2:

It'd be Vanda and shit. But you go back to school and we're all listening to rap Shit like that.

Speaker 3:

Those people are more culturally in their I don't know they're more tapped in into the culture. Which I feel like if that wasn't around in your family or it wasn't pushed.

Speaker 2:

We wouldn't yeah.

Speaker 3:

If it wasn't pushed for'd get a understand that's true, I wouldn't be here.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true, bro, that's true, cause I mean yeah, that's true, bro.

Speaker 1:

Like, yeah, they had to walk so we could run, cause now everybody wants to wear boots everybody wants to be part of the everybody wants to fucking have that Mexican aesthetic but then I don't know if you guys realize, like you know, everyone wants to be like the charadas, like dressing up pants, clothes, which, is cool, it's cool it's cool, but I don't know if you guys noticed that in the mexican region a lot of artists are dressing more cholillos, oh yeah, more american style, like you know they, you know they, let go of the chargadas and all that, and they're switching up over here. They're switching up to different. I don't know like an expensive taste, yeah.

Speaker 2:

No, well, personally me. That's why at first I didn't understand my style at all, bro, because I'm like, bro, I'm dead. Remember, I'd go to school with my little fucking like Air Forces and a fucking pro club my Levi like air forces and a fucking pro club, my levi's and shit, my little belt, you know my little earrings, that's a whole nother vibe, yeah, and nowadays and shit, I wanted to wear my boots and wear my button ups you know where my tejana, I'm fucking cinto pitiao. At first I was just trying to understand what the fuck I was trying to do, bro. It's like what the fuck, dude, you know, pick something. But then, at the end of the day, it's like I am both, bro. It's like is that it's what we grew up with?

Speaker 1:

you know, that's our culture, that's our roots yeah, both of them, bro.

Speaker 2:

So that's why I like switching it up every now and then. One time I had an uncle say best he's like, he's like. I was like we'll see what I feel like. Yeah, because every now and then I feel whatever the vibe is, bro, but I like showing this is what I am and shit, yeah, this is who I am, without being embarrassed. I guess you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't get embarrassed, I just don't. I think a lot of the Hispanic culture, like the clothes, the charreada clothes and all that. That's too expensive for me. Man, being a big dude is expensive, being a big dude is mad, expensive, bedazzled jeans being mean is expensive.

Speaker 2:

Them bitches are cold bro. Yeah, I would love to have one just like for whenever, like we're shooting a music video type of shit man that, shit man that shit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know what I want? I want them to bring back the bedazzled shirts. You guys remember that.

Speaker 2:

Oh, the Ed Hardy ones. I ain't gonna lie, I used to fuck with Ed Hardy, Dude.

Speaker 1:

I remember that was the shit. There was a Ed Hardy.

Speaker 3:

Ed Hardy bro, oh dude, it's coming back.

Speaker 2:

It is, bro, we're bringing it back.

Speaker 1:

We're bringing it back guys.

Speaker 3:

Our next hat.

Speaker 2:

All of us. Yeah, that she was tying on like yeah, but that was part of the culture too, the mexican culture. The gorillas were coming, I remember it was all bedazzled at hearty that's what everything yeah and already remember that.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, just trying to move with the flow, bro. I'm not trying to just be one thing. That's what I'm trying to yeah trying to do for sure as well. Just stay true to who I am, my culture and yeah, yeah, because I mean it's like, imagine I'm trying to bring in fans from Germany, which I'm pretty sure I will, but it's like it's easier for me to connect to these people than you know. That's why I'm trying to connect with myself. I guess that's true. Connect with myself, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And as you only get older, it only progresses, it changes, it evolves. Yeah, progresses it, it changes it evolves. Yeah, true, like phase, like I guess you could say phases of your life, you start liking different things.

Speaker 2:

Like you know, I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, fuck yeah. When I started my life, I guess, which is all nothing but rap, that's how I started rapping. Nowadays, bro, I'm nothing fucking like spanish from spanish, because I'm trying to learn that I'm trying yeah I'm trying to learn what I missed out on.

Speaker 1:

Okay, nice, that's nice Okay.

Speaker 2:

So then, every now and then. That's why I just like mixing it, whether it be the singing with the rap and shit.
