Um, and if you guys haven't noticed, we're live here right now at the Warner's Theater, a historical landmark that we've been doing, and we're grateful to be here. Shout out to Ralph Edwards for having us out here for the Valentine's Night. You already know it's gonna be incredible. What do you how do you guys feel?
SPEAKER_08Anxious, nervous? Well, uh, we've been here since earlier. So yeah, I just got here, got out of work, pulled up. The post-event was crazy. It was it was a good experience. I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, absolutely. We've been yeah, we've been here since the rehearsal, and seeing seeing Ralph, you know, rehearse and his whole crew of Kenny, Sadie doll. Like it was just an amazing feeling, an amazing vibe. And we were on the stage with them, like getting behind the scenes. He actually has the meta glasses, so stay tuned for that content. I know that's gonna be incredible.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so cool. Um I guess we're gonna be waiting for uh guests and people to come around, show some love, show, talk. We're gonna ask them about what their experience and what they're looking forward to.
SPEAKER_05Genny popping, getting a little busy, yeah, just a little bit, yeah. So, yeah, bathrooms downstairs. We went downstairs. Remember, we went through the little tunnels and all that. Yeah, but I don't remember it being out here. I remember we went through the halls, went through the whole building. I remember coming through here because remember we went through the whole building, so we went all the way to the street view where there's that elevator that takes takes us shit up to the street.

SPEAKER_06Yeah, and I'm excited for Mia May, because I mean, like I said, she's been very persistent with her music. Again, another local that just deserves a huge spotlight. So hopefully, we get a lot of good uh captured video and content for Mia May today. Um, I think this is going to be a very successful event. So, shout out Ralph Edwards for having us out here today. Shout out for having us being able to see this amazing live event. Uh I mean, this is history in the making, every single day, every single event.

SPEAKER_02Monday Salon. Things have changed a lot for that one since then, man.
SPEAKER_06Yes. I heard you guys have been changing locations. The money salons moved around a little bit.
SPEAKER_02So we moved from Lucy's, and then we we had like a quick interim location. Literally, we did that one time, and then we moved over to Little Green over Olive and Wilson, right?
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_02And then we did like three shows, and then uh the homegirl over there, Natalie, was like, Y'all sure got a lot of people. And then we had to move over to uh the 101 downtown. Right, right, right. And then Matt was like, Y'all sure got a lot of people. So we're back in the so we're back in the tower.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_02We're back in the tower. We're at Detention Billiards. Okay. Um love that place. They have a speakeasy, right? Well, well, the they do, but the crazy thing about detention right now is it's got new owners, new everything, new everybody. So it has really changed over there. I'm actually helping out with the sound system and like booking music and all kinds of stuff over there, man. It's crazy, crazy, crazy. New, really cool things are happening at detention right now. Well, it's crazy enough. I just went to detention uh last month, my first time going there. Loved it. That was like right before any of this happened. Because y'all know my partner in crime, DJ Nightbot. Yes, sir. He's over there painting a mural right now, right now. Really? Yeah, literally, like I went over there and said hi to him. I was like, it's coming out good. I gotta get downtown. He's like, okay, love you, pick a bike. Like, and so and so I came over here. So yeah, like he is literally over there right now with a paintbrush in his hand and dirty fingers.
SPEAKER_05Like, it's it's yeah, it's it's really putting in the work on a Saturday night. It's beautiful to see, like I was telling you earlier, man. Like, it's beautiful to see that you're staying busy, you continue doing you got multiple projects, man. That's the beauty of too many. Yes, but it's what you enjoy to do, it's what you love, and you're passionate in the shows, man.
SPEAKER_02It's you know, if you if you don't enjoy this, it's actually like much more miserable than like an office job or whatever. Yeah. Because like having to be creative and having to be performative and and all of that shit, like when you really don't want to do it, it's actually way worse than just like like at least you can have a job that don't deal with nobody.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_02Then you can be miserable by yourself. Yeah, so no, no, like if you're not into it like I am, doing it for as long as I have just won't work. It is what it is.
SPEAKER_06It takes a strong person to do that kind of job, though. I'll tell you that much. Me right now, I'm a leasing agent. Love my job. I'm customer service oriented, but man, I'm starting to hate people. Customer service is a big deal, though. Yes, yes, it is.
SPEAKER_02I hate when people like you'll have a business and then you have crap customer service. I'm like, what is your business, my?
SPEAKER_06Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER_02Because I'm certainly never coming back. How many other people have said that? Like, you will be closed in two weeks, dog. The face of the business is about to be the best part, right?
SPEAKER_06Right. So, with that being said, we are here at this live event. How are you feeling right now? How do you feel about this entire event?
SPEAKER_02To be honest, I feel a little nervous.

SPEAKER_02I've been doing music for like 20 years. As y'all know, you know, we we talked about it. But this is a little, like last time I was here, my man Cloud Shit was opening up for uh Blue October.

SPEAKER_02That was a little nerve-wracking too. But this is a little bit more because like I'm representing the homie. Right. You know what I mean? It was like I gotta do Ralph right, man. You know what I mean? Doing backup vocals for you know, Ralph and Vibecheck, and you know, like all of the you know, accolades that he's recently gained and everything like that. So, first of all, I'm just blessed to be here. I'm really glad that he called me. Yeah, um, you know, I mean, I I could say I earned it, yeah. Like, you know, we've been, you know, we've been riding since been pimping. You know, it is what it is. But at the same time, you know, I'm still like I'm glad he called me. Because he didn't have to call me, he could have called a lot of other people. So I'm here and I'm just I'm just blessed to be here and doing this, man. I'm happy to see the merinos, they're gonna be dope. You know, like we just love I just prayed with them. They had their like little family prayer. SPEAKER_06The one that makes it happen. I'm talking any type of artist venue, artist spotlight. Literally, she was the one that got us into Lucy's Lounge, believe it or not. Um crazy enough to see you here at the event. Are you excited?
SPEAKER_10Oh, I'm so excited. I'm actually really excited to talk about this. Viac is one of my favorite bands. Yeah. The first time I saw them live, not only are they talented performers and artists, I had never seen a Fresno audience respond to a Fresno local band in that way. Like they are high caliber.
SPEAKER_11Yeah.
SPEAKER_10So if you guys have not seen them yet, I hope they come out urgently.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. That's why we were talking with Gene is like there needs to be more support in the local scene. Yeah, local artistry, everybody. Because everybody puts their heart and soul into it and they're trying their best, and nobody really pays attention up until they skyrocket or something. Exactly. Right. And Gene said it best too. Introduce it to the little ones.
SPEAKER_06So that way it goes down generationally and they they can appreciate the local artists before they become the Bruno Mars's and the the the Kanye West and so on and so forth. So I think it's very important. And of course, someone like you and what you do in the shining the light on it, and that's what you did change the game heavily. Of course, yeah, of course, for so many different people, for people like us as well, being able to introduce us to so many different artists, these artists have now can say that they've been on a podcast.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, yeah, it's monumental, and that's the thing. So many people have the idea that we have to leave Fresno to do great things. Exactly. We have enough people who are highly skilled, incredibly talented. We just have a terrible network. That's all, that's all. And so with all things present, that's one of my premises. I'm like, how do I find I want to find the best people who put in the work and have the heart for it? Let's let's do the work. Let's find the people who want to do the work. And so you guys have been a part of that. So thank you so much because you're you're broadcasting not only who you are and what you guys have to bring, but also you represent the valley.

SPEAKER_10Well, obviously, Ralph. Yeah, for real. That's so crazy because I met him only one time in my arte a while ago, and I never got to speak to him again. It was just a quick introduction, but I I'm a fan of his, obviously, and I'm always just trying to like promote whatever he does, whatever that the band does. So, you know, to see him again. And also we're at Warner's Theaters. Like, hey, I'm like, and we have a local, we have local talent and a beautiful historic venue. Like, oh my god, I'm in love with this. All of it. Adore it.
SPEAKER_06What do you think is gonna be the next biggest venue? I mean, we've we've touched a chancy part. We've done here. What do you think would be next? What do you think we should do next?
SPEAKER_10What do you should do next? Well, actually, there's an all things present live show, okay? Taking place May 16th. Okay. And I think, and for me, VibeTreck is gonna be a part of that. Yes, yes, I was such an honor to be able to book one of my favorite local bands. Because All Things President is all about also giving money to artists. We want to respect them, we want to honor them, and we just want to celebrate them, but we also want to give them what they deserve. And so that would be taking place in May uh May 16th, All Things Fresno live. But I think uh what an avenue that Fresno seems to be going into is multiple intimate venues. Yes, that's something that we are doing very, very well.
SPEAKER_06Yes, and Brandon Freeman was actually here earlier today telling us about how uh the Monday salon has moved around a few places. He says it's now at a detention dealers. Yes. So with that being said, is the May 16th event being out there?
SPEAKER_10No, no, no. The May 16th uh location is gonna be announced shortly. We're gonna be coming out, we're gonna be coming out, so we'll have you guys hold on to that. But yes, Monday salon can be at detention. Um, also DJ Night Bye, but DJ's there on Saturday nights, uh karaoke. So yeah, detention honestly was recently um bought in January by so it's woman-owned now. A woman-owned business. There you go. And they also installed a stage.

SPEAKER_10Yeah, so they really are supporting the local artists too. They have fans or live bands there.

SPEAKER_05And it's hard, man. You know, it's a beauty, it's a beauty that we can come together and work together. Inspire the next generation of people, you know. I always have this conversation with DJ, right? We're both we both come from different communities, yes, sir. But uh one thing that's for sure, for sure said that everyone comes together and they say you guys make a difference, you guys have impacted many people's lives, right? And and continue inspiring the next upcoming generation for you being a successful businessman, and I'm pretty sure you've gone through your trials, yes, sir, but you're still making it, and look where you're at, right? And look how much you have achieved. You are famous. You are you are famous.
SPEAKER_03You seriously, man. I I it's hard for me to even you know capture or you know, see that, you know what I'm saying? But I appreciate y'all, man. Of course, we appreciate you, man. If it wasn't for an artist like him to be able to allow us to be in places like this, to be able to, and again, like you said, such a humble, big-hearted guy. Yes. He treats us like a fan. He treats us like family, man. True. So it's like being able to have an artist like that who's climbing the ranks one big step after another. And he's still humble enough to be like, hey, you guys are coming right here with me. 100%.

SPEAKER_00I feel great. It's been honestly a minute since I performed because I've been so busy with college. I'm about to um graduate this year from college in the spring from a community college, and then I'll probably go to Fresno State.

SPEAKER_00So I've been really busy with that, but tomorrow I'm gonna be I'm gonna be performing with Bash tomorrow too. So yeah, I'm super excited.

SPEAKER_00I don't even know. And then I have an on-campus job too.

SPEAKER_00Honestly, it felt every time I'm on a stage, it feels like home.

SPEAKER_00Uh I was a little nervous just because I hadn't been on a big stage in I'm gonna say a minute, but like I've just since school started, it's been a little it's been a minute, but it was so I was so excited. I love performing. Like, I love performing. So I was a little bit more like excited than I'm gonna be honest with you.
SPEAKER_06I think it's better to go into something excited instead of nervous. Me personally, I got social anxiety. I hate being in the world. I forget about the crowd behind me.

SPEAKER_05That's incredible work, man. Thank you, brother. Yeah, and it takes a lot, man. Knowing that what it takes for videographers, knowing a little bit, we don't we're not fully professionals, right? But I can only imagine how much you had to do getting the getting the shots.
SPEAKER_07Like, bro, like you guys have no idea, bro. Like, I grew up like photography was my passion. You feel me? Like, yeah, I that's all I want to do is like to be uh a photographer, right? Yeah, and then like Mia starts singing, and she kind of like starts, you know, her career kicks off like doing music. So I got into video, right? I got into video productions, but video, it's a totally different game than photography. Yeah, if you guys know photography, like photography, you can work on a photo, be done like in 45 minutes. Yeah, but with a video, bro, like you can't be done in 45 minutes. It takes weeks to get a video done. Um, but that video was amazing, bro. We shot it in downtown Fresno. Um, we used our friend Roger Rojo is his name, and he's a graphic designer here out of Fresno. Um awesome dude. He had a really cool car, bro, and we shot it in downtown Fresno, right here by Grizzly Stadium, bro. Right at right at home. Right at home. Center East Fresno. We started like at 10 p.m. We're done like at 2 o'clock in the morning, bro. It's right, it was dope, bro. It's like it's dope. I mean, and then we shot in downtown Reely too, so all like night shots and stuff, but it's a blessing, bro. It's a blessing to be able to work with my daughter, yeah, do her work, you know, because like you guys know, like it can get expensive. Yeah, we're like independent, we're independent, bro. Yeah, I mean, like we don't have a big machine behind us, it's mom, it's me, it's her, and then it's like you guys supporting her, bro. So it's all family, you know.
SPEAKER_06And we love that because everything feels like it's at home, yeah. And to think of it, even then, like you said, it's not a big machine, it's a family business, it's a family system, right? That just goes to show it doesn't take a lot of money to do a lot of things like this. Sometimes it's just about the passion of the heart and practice, right? Yeah, yeah. Now, how long have you been doing photography and videography?
SPEAKER_07Bro, I've been doing photography for about 20 years, bro. I mean, maybe even longer than that. Like, I start keeping track, you know. But I I mean that's all I wanted to do was photography, bro. And um, I mean, it's been it's been a minute. Um, I'm a high school teacher now. I teach video productions at Salmo High School. And I teach photography, bro, but it kind of goes hand in hand. My daughter does music now, so now I I I do all hard work for her, you know. But absolutely, it's it's been a while, bro.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, well, it's paying off because like I said, that video we seen yesterday, oh my god. I seen the videos, the promos dropping.
SPEAKER_05I'm like, oh my god, I've seen some of the photos that you took of concrete. Oh yeah, dude, like everything that you do, it just shows the worth ethic that you got, the skills, yeah. And you you look like a professional, like straight up, bro.
SPEAKER_07But like, dude, let me tell you guys, like when I when I started up photography and I was learning the game, um, my mentors were like guys that who were shooting like the the elite, you feel me? Like like presidents, basketball players like Michael Jordan, like these guys. I was looking up to superstar photographers, and I wanted to be like them. So like I was shooting for the stars, you know, and and like I felt like that that it paid off, you know, because like that's kind of my style, and you know, so yeah, dude, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06So I think it's even crazier being able to grow up, raise a daughter, and now you're not even just capturing for other artists, it's your own daughter.
SPEAKER_07That's dope, dude. It's a it's a family business, dude. It's amazing. It's amazing. That's a one two.
SPEAKER_05And it's not just one, it's the whole family. Your whole family's united. Yeah, you guys all make content together. Yeah, that's the beauty of it.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, well, mom, you know, I gotta give credit to mom because that's where she got her vocals from, you know, from my wife. Um, and then I I'm a creative guy, I'm a creative guy.
