Speaker 1:

Hello, welcome back to Claim. You're Awesome. I'm so happy that you're here today and if you're new, welcome. I'm so happy that you found your way to me today, and I do not believe in coincidences, so I hope that if you did find yourself here if you're new that this message resonates with you and that it is the exact thing that you need to hear today. So I'm super excited, as always, to dive into today's episode, because we are talking all about purpose, authenticity and manifesting your dream business. And even if you're not wanting to be an entrepreneur maybe you really have no desire to start a business this still can apply to you really, in manifesting anything that you want in your life, anything that you want to experience, anything that you want to have, anything that you want to be, because really, I am sharing the importance of really living in your authenticity and how that then allows you to manifest just the best life, the best version of your life, whatever that looks like for you, whatever that feels like for you, because it is so different for all of us, and that's just what gets to be so beautiful about this life that we're having.

Speaker 1:

Side note, I am trying something a little new today, when I first started the podcast, I was just. I never wrote down any notes, I was just free, flowing it. I loved it, I was in the zone. And then I started to think, hmm, could this be better if I wrote my show notes ahead of time? And I did that for some episodes and while I felt like it could flow, I had my ideas. One thing is I feel like it gave me less room for any really powerful insights that I wanted to share on the fly. So I'm kind of going back to my original model. I have some notes written, things that I definitely want to share, but I'm just going to like see what comes. So we'll see how it goes.

Speaker 1:

But I'm sharing that because, as I've mentioned in previous episodes, I used to be such a perfectionist oh my gosh, I was such a perfectionist I wouldn't have even been able to start this podcast. It wouldn't have been perfect enough. And now, after doing my own work, my own inner work, I understand that perfectionism is just like a defense mechanism. We can go into that on another episode if anyone's interested. But now I'm just showing up in the messy. I'm just having fun. I'm just trying to live in my own truth and feel into what feels good to me and feel like where I'm called.

Speaker 1:

And I say all that because it's such a freeing and wonderful way to live. I say that it's life giving not just life changing, but life giving. What does that mean? It gives you life right. It activates something deep inside of you that just feels so good and alive and vibrant. And, yeah, me hopefully showing up, taking messy action, not being perfect, but just trying to be myself and do what I feel called to do, is Really the only way that I can inspire you, hopefully, to do the same, because I can't tell you to be one way or do something if I'm not also living that, if I'm also not embodying that for myself. So, yeah, we'll give that a try and just see how it goes.

Speaker 1:

I mean, you might not even notice the difference of when I was really, you know, free, flowing my thoughts and just speaking, versus when I had my all of my notes and everything written down and I was had it all laid out. One thing I will say that is really fascinating is whether I'm running meditations for other people or groups, or sometimes, like in this podcast, or sometimes just when I speak. It sounds totally crazy and wild, but it's almost like something else just takes over and the words just come and it just actually almost becomes like I'm in this trance and things are happening and it's kind of a fun, fun place to be and you just kind of see what happens and I used to think it would sound like it's a jumble mess of stuff, but I would go back and listen and there was some bit of coherency at least. So, yeah, so I for myself, anyway, I'm playing more into that, I'm feeling more into that, because I know that we're just connected to something so much bigger and I'm personally so curious in my life. I'm so curious in my own journey and what that looks like for me and activating my highest self and being in that energy and yeah, so I'm enjoying that and yeah, again, I'm just sharing this because it's what's real and alive and activated for me right now. I find it super fascinating, it's part of my own journey and you get to have the journey that you want to have and, again, it's really truly whatever you want it to look like for you, just being open to that experience. So, with all of that said, let's dive in. So I want to first talk about purpose, and I find that so it's a beautiful question.

Speaker 1:

I find that so many people are like asking like, what is my purpose? You know they're feeling whether you're feeling called to something bigger, or you are just feeling unfulfilled, maybe where you are right now, or you're just like. You just don't love your job. Maybe you feel stuck, maybe you feel bored. Maybe you are really a creative person, but you have a job that just doesn't allow like any form maybe that knife and it doesn't allow it. This just doesn't require any form of creativity and you're just like not using your gifts. You're just not feeling it right Like you're just like. This is just not aligned with me. This just doesn't feel good for me, and I think so many people are going through this shift right now.

Speaker 1:

Right, I think, honestly, coming out of COVID, I feel like there were so many silver linings with COVID, and one of them being that it allowed us, it forced us, to really slow down and reevaluate things that were going on in our life, to take an honest look at what was working and what wasn't working. I feel like during that time that period lasted long enough that some of us some of you maybe even were able to make some of those shifts, whether internally, externally, and it started to feel really good. And then, unfortunately, I feel like what has happened as the world has come back to the quote unquote normal is that we've forgotten, right, we've forgotten how important it is to slow down. We've already forgotten these, like lessons of the need, the necessity for deep connection, for simplicity, right. Like all these things that we got to experience and enjoy and really embrace during that time. It's like now we're just like thrown back into the societal norms that we had been living in and I think we're remembering like, oh no, this actually doesn't feel that good to me. This is not what I want to be doing this, even though, believe me, I recognize there was nothing necessarily perfect or good about the time of COVID, but except for the fact that it allowed for this reflection and this kind of new way of being to open up to us, so many of us were able to like wake up to this feeling, right To this, knowing that, as I've mentioned again in previous episodes, like that you can't wake up to when you're just running on autopilot, like you can't have the awareness of them when you're just going through the motions of the day, like getting through the day in survival mode, like how can you get off that, right? So now it's like, oh yeah, there is, like I desire fulfillment. I recognize that there is something bigger for me here, that I don't have to be going through life in this way, that it gets to feel better, that it gets to be easier, that life is always working out for you, right, because it is. And so I think, again, that's where it kind of comes back to well, what is my purpose? Like, what do I feel called to do? And there is just this emphasis on I want to find my purpose, like, what is my purpose? And that's a beautiful inquiry, right, like that's a beautiful question. I'm not dismissing that.

Speaker 1:

But sometimes I think the way in which we go about it creates more resistance than is necessary and it creates resistance and that resistance like it makes it harder to really uncover what your purpose is, because often times we're really searching for our purpose from like a very egoic way, like from the mind, right, what is it that I want? But can you, even in this moment, like use this as an invitation again, if you're here, like all of this message is for you, specifically, like, what can you do right now to just expand the aperture, to like the purpose being something so much bigger that you don't need to search for it? Right, I don't. It's not like what is my purpose? Can you be open and it gets scary? Or it can feel scary, it can feel uncomfortable because we like to be in control, right, like as humans, we like to really control what's going on. But can you just be open to receiving, to allowing that purpose to come through you, instead of finding that purpose? Can you feel into what I'm saying? Can you understand, like, let that kind of sit in your body, that let the purpose come through you, don't go finding it.

Speaker 1:

And I think so often, again, it's like a beautiful thing to want to know your purpose. I know that I am, you know, I've done this as well. I don't want to say guilty. I feel like there's a negative connotation around, like the word guilt, but I definitely have done this as well, like what is my purpose? And I think I've shared the story before where I remember when I was younger and I would pray, you know, like God, please, like just let me like live out, you know, whatever my purpose is in a way that serves you and then it would always be met with all these stipulations, right, like I at the time, it was like I didn't trust that God, the universe, you know, my highest being, whatever you want to believe in, believe that, you know, I was capable of that was more, like I needed to be in control. Still, you know, I was praying to that higher power, like I still wanted to be in control ultimately of my destiny.

Speaker 1:

But what if you just let go right, like? What if you just completely surrendered and it gets really tricky? Because again, it's like the ego, the mind. What if I surrender and it doesn't work out? Right? What if I surrender and I fail? What if I surrender and I don't make any money? What? You know, all the all of the fears of the ego instantly kick in when this idea of just like, completely surrendering to what is just allowing whatever wants to be channeled through you, whatever wants to move through you, whatever wants to flow through you, like that feels really scary.

Speaker 1:

And this is where I want to incorporate this authenticity piece, because what if your purpose at least the part of your purpose that you could control was solely to live in your authenticity, was solely to live so deeply connected and rooted and grounded in your own truth. And again, this takes practice because I know that. So I mean, I feel like I'm just like scratching the surface of my truth, like just scratching the surface of my authenticity and living from that place and I know it's so hard to do this, it feels so uncomfortable, it feels so scary again because the ego I mean so many things but the ego kicks in and it's like, oh well, that's not what society told me. Society told me. Society told me that I need to like work really hard, I need to go to med school, I need to go to law school, I need to, you know, do all of these things. Or, you know, those are just some examples I can.

Speaker 1:

I'm sure you have like your own experience with that and the own, your own things of what you feel like has been either placed on you by society, cultural, your family, whatever, whatever other outside forces making you feel like you need to be doing something, that you should be doing something a certain way. And that's all coming from the ego, right? Because when we live in that place we are so disconnected to our own truth and actually that's not totally fair. I shouldn't say it that way because maybe, deep down, that is your truth, right Like? I'm not here whatsoever to judge that you don't feel truly called to be a doctor, something like that. But maybe your truth is you feel called to be a doctor, but maybe you're living in the belief of you know how could I ever afford med school and who am I to do that? And you know you have your own experiences and things that you've brought into you know your own journey and where you are right now that you're like that is my truth. I feel so called to do that, yet I'm stuck, you know, in all these other beliefs.

Speaker 1:

So, again, it's really about uncovering what your truth is for you, what do you want, what feels good to you? And, again, doing this free of the ego. Right, like when we think too much about it, that is the ego. When we really are trying to like, think, to understand the answer, to get the answer, that is when the ego is really speaking. Instead, get quiet, get still, be open to self reflection and go inward right, tap into your heart, tap into your gut, see what feels right to you.

Speaker 1:

This could be as simple as making a list of the best version of yourself, of your life. You know the highest version of yourself. What does that person want? What do they? Even if you don't know, like, what you do as a job or career, like how are you just moving through your day, what feels really good for you? And even if you don't know exactly what you want, like, what do you not want? Right? Like, maybe you're like I know for certain, I was not born, I was not put on this earth to sit at a desk for 50 hours a week and look at spreadsheets. Right, like, maybe you're like I don't know what I'm meant to do, but I'm definitely not meant to do that, right? So it's just like allowing yourself to get really honest, to give yourself permission to see just what lights me up, what feels really good to me. Again, free of all the expectations of what you think you can do. You could even make it a little game. Like, if money didn't matter, this is how I would live. If money didn't matter, this is what I would do. How would you dress? How would you yeah, just like move through the day? What would you experience more of? Excites you, what interests you? What do you find curious? Just what would you allow yourself to explore.

Speaker 1:

And really, who are you without all of the masks that you wear? Because we wear so so many right Like the masks, like maybe towards our friend, or that we put on with friends or maybe with strangers, with family? If you're a parent, you know you might wear like a mom mask, and you know the masks that you wear at work. And none of these masks are bad, I'm not saying that. But when you just allow yourself to shed them, to peel them back, what is actually left? What do you want to be left? What would you? What mask do you want to wear? What you know? What do you want that to look like? Or I should say, when you take all the masks away, what do you want that to then look like?

Speaker 1:

And the more you can do that, the more you can shed the layers, the more that you can be so in tune with who you truly are, completely free of feeling like you know you're gonna be judged or you have to hide being a certain way. Maybe you know, as a kid you were constantly told that you were too much, so every year you just dimmed your light a little bit more. Like what, if you just let yourself be so much, right, like as much of you as you want, like that's really what you need, that's what you deserve and, honestly, that's what the world needs. Like the world wants you to be just living in the most fullest, most beautiful whole-less expression of you, because that is just magnetic and powerful and it's freeing, feels really freaking good. Right To just live as the person that we wanna be, instead of the person that we feel like we should be. And this is where it gets really good.

Speaker 1:

And now I'm gonna start to you know, tie this into really manifesting again, whether it be your business or anything that you want, because the closer you live in your truth and I say the closer because I think it's like a constant process, right you feel like you wake up, you come back to who you actually are, who you really are, and then, like something happens and you're like, oh my gosh, there was like still another layer that I need to shed. And I think it's just like this constantly evolving process which makes it so beautiful and so fun, right, like, especially if you can really embrace all of those parts of you, because none of them are bad, they're all like just part of your bigger journey. When you can embrace all of that, it's just, it's so liberating. You're like, oh, there was never really anything that I needed to hide. It's all fully okay for me to be all of this, right Like ever expanding, ever growing, multifaceted, multi-dimensional.

Speaker 1:

Like I was thinking about this the other day because I've never been someone that loves business suits. If you love business suits like more power to you, that's totally fine. Like the idea of a business suit is just like not my thing. I was kind of like chuckling to myself because I'm totally the kind of person that could just be like in bare feet and like long dresses all the time. But then the flip side of me is like I love to get like really dressed up and would also be equally at home in like a ball gown Like those are like so totally different and that's also okay, right.

Speaker 1:

Like we get to be whoever we want to be and like explore all of these different parts of ourselves and these different sides of ourselves, and it just gets to be so much more fun when you can be as true to yourself as possible and it's through living in your truth, through living in this, from this most authentic version of yourself, that your purpose unfolds, right, that it comes out of you that when you are allowing yourself to be exactly who you want to be, right, your and I'm not saying that tomorrow you need to go out and quit your nine to five, right, but maybe you can still have your nine to five, but yet you're starting to explore these other avenues for yourself. You're starting to explore, you know, the more creative side. Maybe you've suppressed that for a long time for whatever reason, and now you're like no, like that like feels so true to me. I'm really drawn to that. I'm going to, like, maybe pick up a musical practice, or I'm going to start painting, or whatever avenue feels good for you. And it's like now you're able to hold the space for both right, like, you're able to still go to your job. But now you're coming back to yourself, you're leaning into what's true, you're cultivating these practices that feel really good for you, and it's the more you do that, the more that you come back into your truth, living from this really authentic place, that then things open up for you, right, like, maybe that's exactly the avenue that you needed for a different part of your purpose to come through.

Speaker 1:

Or maybe you're so fulfilled in doing this creative part of you, that now, like the mundane work, it doesn't even actually feel that bad anymore, and you're like, oh, I can actually have that. You know my work can be more fulfilling because now I'm so fulfilled outside of my work life and now I'm living so much more in my truth that, oh, I'm actually showing up better at work because I'm living in this super authentic place, or I should say from the super authentic place, and the experiences and everything just gets to be so much richer and stronger. And if they're not, then you also feel confident enough to entrust yourself, enough and give yourself permission to make the necessary choices, right To either find a job that's more fulfilling. Or maybe you're like, oh my gosh, no, now that I'm in this creative space, now all of this, maybe entrepreneurial energy is coming through, but you needed to reconnect to yourself to allow that purpose, this business. Maybe that's now brewing to be channeled through you, because again you've come back to who you really are and to that truth for yourself. And that's really where I think the power of purpose is so much stronger again, when you're open to allowing it to be there, to allowing it to come through, to receiving it, to just letting it be, versus what I think so many of us are like.

Speaker 1:

I wanna go out and find my purpose Again, like years ago. Well, years and years ago, I mean, I thought my purpose was to be a famous fashion designer and that was my plan and that's what I studied in school and I was on that path for a while and never in a million years would I have expected to be where I am right in this moment, sitting in this chair recording this podcast. But I have also never felt more alive and excited and fulfilled by it. And so, yeah, you just never know, right, and that's like, again, what gets to be so fun, just letting it unfold exactly as it's meant to. And sometimes that can feel challenging. We're like you want something more. You're ready for the goal to manifest, you're ready for the thing to manifest.

Speaker 1:

And again, if you just go back to that, like just living in your own authenticity and finding and realizing how good that alone feels, it's like the goal is almost not even as important, right, because you're just like having so much fun just exploring and creating and being and doing and whatever else, right, like you're just in it and that actually gets to feel so good and then we get to manifest everything that we want, right Cause we're living now in that place of authenticity and even when it comes to making some of those big things happen, it's like there is a lot of trust, a lot of courage that goes into living in your authenticity and it's like it can feel really scary to make those decisions or to go against something that you have believed for so long or that has been ingrained in you for so long. It takes courage to do that. However, you're constantly growing and expanding and the only way that you can really like quantum leap you can see just like the shifts, the major shifts in your life is through some of these really challenging moments of stepping outside of your comfort zone right, stepping into what feels hard, what feels challenging, and realizing that on the other side of that, like, life is so much more beautiful. Right, you have grown and expanded and again still living so much more deeply in your truth from that place, so much more connected to your purpose. And when you do that, when you take like courageous, bold action, you jump off the cliff, you have that leap of faith. It's like the universe meets you, god meets you and it's going to work out, and it typically works out even better than you ever imagined in the first place. Right, it's like just taking that leap and sometimes you have the expectation of what's going to happen. But it's even better than you imagine if you again just allow life to just flow through you, versus being in control, right, being in the ego all of the time.

Speaker 1:

And so how does this relate to manifestation, manifesting your dream business? Authenticity is so magnetic Authenticity. The more you are living in your truth, you will see just how much incredible stuff experiences people that become like, attracted to, like you and your world. Because, for one, so many of us, so many people, are not living in their authenticity. So when they see that, it's like, oh my gosh, that is incredible. Like I want more of that, right, like I want to live from this deep sense of joy and inner peace and knowing and fulfillment, and that's just so amazing. Right, it's so many of us. Let me know if this resonates with you.

Speaker 1:

But it's like you see people who are really taking big, bold leaps of faith Maybe they're moving to different countries or just doing something really bold and you're like, oh my gosh, I could never do that. That's so crazy. How are you doing this? But it feels so exciting, right, you're living vicariously through them, you want them to succeed, and it's just because that's so hard to do and it's like we see that. And then we see ourselves in them, wanting that right, like wanting to just experience, like the fullness and everything that this life has to offer. Yet it can feel really scary.

Speaker 1:

So it's so easy, so it's so magnetic to be the truest version of yourself, and so for one, like just simply talking about law of attraction, right, the more that you're living in your own truth, in your own authenticity, it's going to feel really, really good and it's going to start to attract all of these things that you want into your life. And then what you realize is, again, because you were so living in your truth, you're allowing that purpose. Even again, I keep wanting to kind of shift this towards entrepreneurship, but it doesn't have to be. It definitely doesn't have to be. But it's like you recognize that you're being called to something bigger. And, again, because you're living in your truth, you're feeling on purpose, you're feeling confident, you're feeling good. It's easier to take those bold actions. It's easier to be braver, to be more courageous, to say yes when your intuition calls you to something bigger, whether it is all right, I now feel called to finally start this business.

Speaker 1:

I've had this idea brewing deep down inside of me. Or maybe you've had a business. You weren't taking action for whatever reason. But again now, living more in your truth, doing all of the work around manifestation right, like when we're living in our truth and we're letting go of the fears, we're reprogramming the subconscious, we are shedding the layers, we're becoming all of the things that no longer serve you To get to the next level. You're like, oh, it's so much easier for me to now take action from this place. And when you're in action, you're going to manifest the things that you want faster. Because now, again, the universe, it just wants to meet you, it's going to meet you exactly where you are.

Speaker 1:

Or it could be that you did kind of have this business, but it just wasn't lighting you up, or it just still felt out of alignment for you. Or just like, I'm doing the things, but it still just doesn't feel quite right. And now you're doing this work, you're doing your own work to again live as your most authentic version of yourself. And now you're like oh yes, this makes sense. This business was not in alignment for me, but I want to pivot and that's also OK, right, like I don't care how old you are, you can pivot, you can change, you can change your mind, you can grow. It's all part of your journey.

Speaker 1:

And now, again, you're trusting yourself, you're giving yourself permission to say yes, it's OK for me to now follow my heart, to let go of the fears, the limiting beliefs, the judgments, the everything else that the ego is trying to steer me away from, and tap more into my own truth, tap more into my heart and follow that. And it's like again, when you follow that, when you're living from that place, everything is conspiring in your favor for it to work out for you. And when you're so true to yourself and you know exactly what you want, it's like you're so connected to your North Star that you're. It is inevitable that everything that you desire will come to meet you right, like everything that you want is already yours. You just need to make sure you have that like compass pointed towards the North Star, and this is how you can again manifest that dream business, manifest success in work in a business that you already have right, just being so connected to that. It's like you almost have to be delusional in a way I said this to a client the other day like you almost have to be delusional in your beliefs and in your reality because it's like, even if it has not manifested right now or exactly as you want in this moment, you know that it is inevitable for you and you just have to stay on this path and you just have to keep showing up. You just have to keep living in your truth and everything will align and it gets to be so much more fun in the process. And the more fun you're having and the easier it is, the faster the manifestations will come to you.

Speaker 1:

But you have to be willing to let go of everything that isn't serving you. Let go of all of those beliefs, all of the things that society or anyone else has told you that you had to be, that you had to do to get to X goal. Like is that goal? Even what you want? Like, what do you want right? Be so tuned into what it is that you really want. And if you don't know right now, that's where you start. You start by doing the work. You start by embracing all of it and this work. It's not hard in the true sense of the word hard, but sometimes it can feel uncomfortable. But can you also embrace that right? Because you can't have joy without sadness. So you have to be willing to embrace all parts of you, knowing that when you're triggered, when there's resistance, when something comes up that feels uncomfortable, it is an invitation. It's an opportunity to lean into that for your own growth and expansion.

Speaker 1:

And you can do this on your own. I mean, I love helping women with this, but you can do this on your own, like you can lean into your body, tune into what does it want to say. Actually, right before I recorded this podcast and I'm trying to do this more and more but I was just like my body was just feeling like it really wanted to dance and move. I had a shoulder injury a month ago so I haven't really been able to work out and, yeah, right before this I just spent like a few minutes just kind of like dancing and moving around and it just felt so good. And you can tune into your own body and just let it guide you. Let it tell you what you need right, what you need to heal, heal what you need to hear what lessons you need and you again like you can really do this on your own and it's it is beautiful to have someone help guide you through that. There's always bigger things and deeper things that can come up.

Speaker 1:

But again, to start right where you are. If this is something that feels new to you or feels challenging to you, just start by, yeah, like seeing what is true for you. Where in your life are you living that? Where in your life are you not? What do you feel like you're doing that you have to do? And I'm not talking about like simple tasks, like you have to do laundry or make lunches for your kids, school, like those are things that obviously we have to do as we nurture our kids and our families, but I'm talking about, you know, bigger things and things that just aren't serving you.

Speaker 1:

So can you just get honest with yourself? Can you just have just a really good look at what's serving you, what's not, what feels good, what doesn't right, just starting to get honest and really the simplest thing that you can do is being truthful with yourself If there are thoughts that you're like you have a thought but you push it down, or you're like I don't, you know, I don't want to buy into that, I don't want to believe that, right, you're put where you suppress so many of these desires that we have because maybe they feel hard or, again, we're afraid what someone might think about that, or maybe we fear that our partner wouldn't be supportive of you. Know, something that we're feeling called to do, right, we like suppress these thoughts. Can you, even for today, just start by being really honest with yourself, be really honest with your thoughts, be true to yourself. That alone will serve you so much. That is a beautiful start to just the self-inquiry and this, yeah, just coming home and coming back to who you truly are, and that's just a really powerful way to live. And again, that is how you will begin to manifest success in all areas of your life manifest abundance and wealth and love and freedom and whatever else you want to. You know, manifest currently just starting to practice that, starting to live in your own truth. So I hope this gave you lots of food for thought. I hope this gave you some practical tips on how to start to actually do this for yourself, to see how this feels for you If you are calling, if you are feeling called to have more support around this, more tangible support, more one-on-one support.

Speaker 1:

My doors are open for one-on-one coaching. Right now, it's a three-month one-on-one container. I'll leave the link in the show notes. You can apply through that link to work with me, and this is a great opportunity, especially if you are wanting to manifest success in your business or you're wanting to start a business, or you feel like there's something brewing but you want some clarity and guidance around that.

Speaker 1:

This is exactly what this container is all about. It's about uncovering whatever those limiting beliefs, whatever those fears, those judgments, whatever those programs are that you're running deep in your subconscious. We bring awareness to that. We do the inner work to release those fears, to rewire the brain so that you are now manifesting success. You are set up for taking the action that feels good, taking the action that's actually going to move you forward in your business, in this journey, and do it in a way that feels really good and aligned for you. If that's something that you feel called to, I invite you to apply. Other than that, I hope that you have a beautiful day and I'll talk to you next week. Thanks for tuning in.
