Prayer: Lord, I pause in the shadow of the cross. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for bearing sin, shame, and sorrow in my place. Help me to rest in what you have done, not strive to earn what you freely give. I lay my guilt, my regret, and my burdens at the foot of the cross. Let Your forgiveness bring freedom and your sacrifice bring peace. By your wounds, bring healing to my heart. Amen.
