Windy Casper And Road Trip Talk
SPEAKER_00I guess we can go. Uh, you know what? It's like uh it's windy, dude. Like um it's uh right now it's it's a little chilly, it's like 5660, but it's like super windy. They call it the windy city, and I didn't, I mean I I always kind of knew it was windy, but damn, bro, today it was windy, bro.
SPEAKER_04Like I thought I thought the windy city was Chicago movement.
SPEAKER_00That's what I thought, but like when I drive by, I see Windy City, uh Casper. Yeah, I don't know. I was like Wyoming or something, and uh I always Oh, you're in Casper, huh? Casper, yeah, man. I hear so yeah, that's a success. It's it was a it's not a bad drive, you know. Honestly, I was thinking about it. Like, I don't know why I don't go to like um Colorado Springs or Breckenridge more often. It's not you can get there easily, bro. Like, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Like that's that's what me and Erica were talking about because we were like, man, if we do plan to go, the the Vegas Stadium is just ridiculous at this point for tickets. Yeah, so like if we do plan a trip, man, just go watch them play the fucking Broncos, we'll make a whole fucking trip out of it. Yeah, we'll go to we'll go to Mile High. I told her, I was like, I looked it up, it's eight hours, bro. It's eight hours. Yeah, that shit is nothing. It's not I was like, it's eight hours, bro. We'll leave at two o'clock in the morning, the kids will sleep, I'll get you motherfucking zero, we'll have breakfast. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Like, easy. I think last time I left at like six and I stopped at like one place, and uh actually I think I was like in uh Denver City, like by like I think like six or seven, bro. You know what I mean? Like, and you could even be like in car office, yeah. So yeah, holy shit, I forgot about that, dude. Yeah, that's pretty wild too.
SPEAKER_04Hit you with that motherfucking six seven boy.
SPEAKER_00What do you think about that? It's kind of I I keep seeing things about a satanic, like and the guy's like a woman bro, bro.
SPEAKER_04It's crazy because I saw the origins. It's crazy that people are saying that, which I mean at this point, like if you take a shit a certain way, it's satanic. Like people are getting there's certain stuff that for sure yeah has satanic undertones.
Sports Trips And Mile High Dreams
SPEAKER_00But I think I think it's because of the guy himself, because I don't know if you saw that he's like a witch, like he's into like uh like witchcraft, and like he even talks about how basketball player? No, no, it's the rapper, the one that made the song.
SPEAKER_04So apparently, but but you know that that song came after the creation of 67.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, but everybody keeps saying, because I guess you know who made it, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, but like yeah, I see videos of him, like, and he's like, I guess his uncle's like a uh Bruja, whatever the hell you, whatever the fuck you call it. Uh, anyways, but yeah, he's and uh he was talking about how he sacrificed animals for certain gods and all kinds of stuff. I was like, I think that's where it comes from, the satanic part.
6-7 Meme Culture And Meaning
SPEAKER_04The crazy kid, I sorry my dad for everybody who listening and watching my my dad is here working and shit on some shit I have here. Yeah, so he's looking for the battery to my blower. But yeah, man, I I I don't I don't particularly like it, to be honest with you, because I don't like to have anything in my house that I don't really know what it means, like, but I'm I'm starting to learn that literally it means whatever you want to fuck it, what you want it to mean, like literally, yeah. Um, and so it's it's fucking funny. But it the the funny part about it is that literally every conversation I have, for some reason, six and seven come up. Yeah, like just sitting down here with you, just like and it was like regular time.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I remember getting it. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And so that's that's what I'm understanding is a little funny, and that's what these kids are like think it's funny. I don't allow my kids to say it or fucking be about that shit, but we can't deny that it's like something cultural, like later on when they're like the fucking 2020s, the whole decade, right? In the 2020s, 25 2025 is gonna be labeled with the six seven bullshit for sure.
Stadium Drive-By And Colorado Plans
SPEAKER_00And uh, you know, um I drove by last time. I remember seeing uh everybody uh well actually last night I drove by too because I had a like uh late morning, you know, and uh I was gonna stay in Colorado Springs, but then I was like, nah, I just keep going. And uh man, I drove by and the game was going. There's the Chiefs playing the uh Broncos and Broncos. Yeah, like I'm driving by, bro, and the stadium's so nice. Have you ever seen it?
SPEAKER_04Oh, they they say it's one of the top-notch stadiums out there, bro.
SPEAKER_00It's also very cool because like it's uh centered around the interstate. So when you're driving, you can literally see fans in the stands looking at the game. Damn, that's passing. I'm like trying not to wreck, you know what I mean? I'm trying to look at it, yeah. But uh it's actually driving over. I don't know if I stay in Denver, you know what I'm saying? But I would like to stay like Colorado Springs and then come to the game or go back because Colorado Springs is like 45 minutes away. And then have you heard of Breckenbridge too?
SPEAKER_04Uh out there in uh yeah, Brecken Ridge is where we want to go. Well, that's where you can catch the train for the tour.
Delays, Work Travel, And Game Night
SPEAKER_00And then they got a good Christmas light thing going too. Christmas oh, really? Yeah, corner showing, but but it's like an hour uh west of uh Colorado Springs, so it's not far, dude. Like I'm telling you, man. Last time I took off like at six, I think I was in um like in color springs by like four. So, like, you know what I mean? Like you can get there, and it's a nice easy drive, especially if you ever I know the way now, bro. Like it's all highway, like it is glazing before before it was horrible, like you know what I mean, like little towns all the time, but I I can catch all highway pretty much. Like there's a little 30 miles, you're like in a it's not a bad road though, but it's like that's it, and then after that, you're straight highway, man. So and that's kind of how it is coming out here. Once you get on the that interstate going to Colorado and Color Springs, yeah, shit that all the way up to Casper. I mean, that's pretty smooth, yeah. You know what I mean? That's about it, huh? Yeah, I mean, I and I jump in that that fast lane, you know, because last time I came through with a trailer, and there's a lot of people, and I said, I don't give a I'm just driving like that, bro. So I do right through it, I throw it right through, but yeah, I should be out here till like the weekend, and then uh this guy keeps pushing back, bro. Like it's so annoying. Like, I come out here and then it's like, uh yeah, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Well, it's not his fault, but it's just the stuff. But it's like, dang, dude, I'm just like burning. Like, I could be at the house, I could have left today, you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know, yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like, so it's like one of those things, man. But I got this other guy here made with me, Casey. We went to eight last night, and then I think today, then we're gonna go watch the cowboys kick some ass tonight, and then go take it easy, boy. Okay, it's I don't know. I was thinking I was gonna call you about that. That's why I was actually calling you this morning to talk about the game, and then uh uh and then you said you're off, and I was like, Oh heck yeah, man, we can get this done, you know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so yeah, I took the day off. We're gonna get right right here. I'm gonna I'm gonna set up the projector on the side of my house. Don't be lying, bro. We're gonna be outside, light the fire.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna fucking I'm gonna enjoy this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04This is I mean, we suck. Way at both teams suck. This is our super bowl, bro.
SPEAKER_00Like, we don't we don't really suck, but we're I mean we are gonna we're gonna bro y'all suck.
SPEAKER_04I mean don't don't get it twisted. Y'all suck. You know what I mean? We suck, but y'all suck.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna do uh a little vote thing on Instagram. Uh yeah, do it boys and do we suck or not? See who win, or we're gonna see who was uh going for who on the you know where you can pick one and one. We'll do that here in a minute, but I was just thinking about that. But no, but uh, I was really excited about today because I was like, Man, I know from town you're gonna do something, watch the game together. But then I kind of had a feeling this was gonna go, but I just didn't know when. And it's supposed to go to the end of the month, dude. And then they're like, No, it's it's gonna be like this.
SPEAKER_04We're like, dang, so we're out here, and it should be one guy, bro.
Birthday Party And Beer Garden Recap
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they got mad at me last night because I tried to knock out a whole week by myself out here in location, and they're like, No, we can't have you out here, it's not safe. And I'm like, Yeah, just taking my money, bro. I'll be killing it out here, you know. So yeah, but it's not that cold. North Dakota, I think some guys are saying it's like two degrees up there, so uh it's not that cold up here, man. But it's colder. And I'm telling you that wind a minute ago, geez, dude.
SPEAKER_04I was like, Yeah, the wind, the window you up, bro. It tears through all your clothes and shit goes straight through your bones. My lady dish spaces out of your bones.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and then you know what? Uh, last time I was here, I thought I had like allergies, but really it was uh the elevation here is so crazy. Like it's like 5,000 here. Uh Midland's like 2,000, North Dakota Wilson's 1800. And so here is like 5,000. And I had like headaches, and uh my feel like I had bad uh not like uh sinuses, but it was just uh elevation, bro. Like it was the pressure. Like I was like, damn, I was getting tired. I was like, I didn't do nothing last time I was here. Like I was in a bad funk, bro. It was it was dark day week, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Just fucking just turning down the light and laying in the day.
SPEAKER_00I know man, I didn't have the computer, I didn't have any of this. Like it was just like yeah, it was just all all rough, man.
SPEAKER_04You know, no, I'm glad you got all this shit and you can you can get creative on the fucking on the intraway, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00And honestly, like it's crazy because I noticed our like it's like man, the people like it when we're we're we're moving, like we're always doing something and so like when we're stand still, I can see like it's just like a little little drop, like you know, but then we people people are still down a little though. Like I think we had uh the last one, and then people were going to Shandy and uh Judd still, and I'm like, dude, that's over already, you know what I mean?
On The Road Life And Workload
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, that's that's that's past, but but it's good content, man. It's good stuff hearing, you know, hearing that hearing them out and oh yeah, and how strongly they felt about shit. You know, unfortunately didn't go their way in either one of them, right? But uh, but it was a good fight, you know what I mean? I think I think at least they brought stuff stuff to the forefront, and you know, awareness is really where it's at, and you know, made us a little more aware of what was going on, shit like that. But oh yeah, man, you know, hopefully other people got the same thing out of it and they're a little bit more aware of local politics and shit that's going on, you know. Yeah, um, but but it's it's it's a good fucking time, man. It's a good time talking to these people. I think people think of politics and that as a it's it's it's a problem, right? Because people think of politics too seriously. And although it is a serious thing, um, I think that if you think politics aren't interesting, just take them take a beat and listen to a podcast or listen to something like oh yeah. You you yourself, like me, I I think to myself, hey, don't don't get too crazy about the politics shit. Just keep it, you know, keep it moving like it's easy to go down that road, you know what I'm saying? Exactly, exactly. So I like just just just keep it here, keep put put the fucking tunnel vision and just this one video, and like uh yeah, I mean, if we wanted to get pissed off about everything we could, I mean, look at the fucking New York the Mam Dani thing, and like we can go fucking, we go for days on shit like that, you know. But at the end of the day, I saw a podcast, it was very funny. I saw a podcast or a short of a podcast, I'm sorry. And this guy was like, he was like, fuck yeah, because they just elected in Seattle, they just elected another socialist mayor. She literally ran on socialism, yeah. And uh Homeboy was like, fuck yeah, I'm glad. He's like, I I I donated to the Mamdani uh campaign. And he was like, and he's a conservative, right? But he was like, I'm tired of telling these bitches that the the stove is hot. I'm ready for them to put their hands on that motherfucker. He's like, so he's like, obviously, you don't want to go all the way to to where you're like, yeah, just let them win the presidency and let them burn fucking the entire US. No, but he's like, for mayors, let them let them give a little taste of socialism and see what happens. Yeah, and then New York is fucking New York is gonna burn, I thought.
SPEAKER_00Well, and then and then uh that dude's like speech, his winning speech, he says, No problem is too small for the government to fix. And you're like, dude, this is just straight comedy, you know what I mean? But like communism, but it's like uh, you know, but yeah, I'm like, man, you know what? And then it's like it's kind of crazy because you see people and they don't even know what they're voting for. You're like, dude, I can you know what I'm saying? It just blows my mind that they think that's okay, you know what I mean? But it's just wild. Like I but you're right though. Like I go to like I was watching the PBD podcast, that guy's been on uh he's been on the Jubilee ones and stuff like that. But that was pretty good. It was like uh was Sam Shimon, and he was like Shamoon. Uh he was like some dang um I don't know, like he was talking about like how the Quran and like the um Bible, like a lot of their verses are the Quran butchers a lot of the the gospel for the Bible, and then they they twist the words on nerves, and then you know, even though the Bible's written six, I think, two or three centuries before the Quran Bible was made, but it's like wow, I was like just all look the same, bro.
SPEAKER_04You're like, dang, but it's crazy because so many people are coming out, like so many people that are on the non-radical side of Islam, yeah. Um, they're Muslims and shit, and they're like, guys, like you're being fucking lied to. The fucking word tells us to lie in order to take over, to infiltrate, to I I don't know exactly how he worded it, right? But it tells it literally tells us to lie to people so that we can prosper, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00Politically and then gain control.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, exactly, exactly. I keep saying and they're like Mam Dani's 100% practicing this, they said, Yeah, like because he's a practicing Muslim right now, and he is a hundred percent behind the LGBTQ community. Uh, he's behind socialism, he's behind all the shit that is literally against Sharia law. Yeah, and he's and they're like, he's lying.
SPEAKER_00Like, y'all can't see this shit. Yeah, he just used like his uh, I guess his culture or way. I don't know. But and I saw like some people that were mad, like actual Muslims that were like upset with him, they didn't want him to win because they're like he's not a practicing guy, you know. He's just using us to get votes, and then he's gonna go from there. And I'm like, I mean, yeah, I mean it makes sense, but it's just it was wild, man. I was just watching that, but I was gonna tell you this too. Uh I was looking at uh on this, but just so far, we've been in um our podcast has been downloaded in Singapore, Germany, Bulgaria, Brazil, Australia, Australia, United Kingdom, even in Israel, bro, and and Belgium and uh Russian Federation.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so so let me tell you, let me tell you, so we know we know how large SLB is, right? So SLB is a huge company, right? Yeah, they're all over the world. So I have a feeling that you will be seeing more and more things uh pop up. Why do I say that? Because no, for one, Singapore. My old boss who is here, he got promoted up and went and he's running a plant in Singapore and he's listening to the podcast.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. There's like it's wild to me that sees the way.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and and uh uh Germany, I'm not sure. Russia, I do know why. So recently we had a visit. Uh recently we had a visit, uh, this program that we're that SLB developed uh for us to streamline planning and basically make things more efficient. Um we get visits here and there um from from different people around the world. So um one of them, his name is Alexander, actually showed up. He saw my hat. I was wearing my hat and he asked me about it. And right there, instant started following us and uh went to he's like, I'm gonna check it out. So he listens to podcasts or whatever. So um shout out Alexander if he listens to this one, shout out to him and shout out to Jose Hanama, who's my former boss, who is in Singapore uh right now, currently. Okay, that's cool. So we're spreading out, man. We're spreading our wings. Uh every time somebody visits, I'm wearing that, I'm wearing the podcast hat, and they uh they'll all ask me, like, is that your podcast? Like, yeah, that's my podcast, and they always want to see, and I show them. So, you know, we're gonna be spreading our wings out there, baby.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know, and uh it's crazy because I see that stuff and like I was like, dang, it's just uh I sometimes I look I don't go to it often, but every now and then I look at it because I get like an update and stuff. Yeah, I was just like, damn, that's pretty wild, man, seeing stuff like that.
SPEAKER_01It's very cool.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and honestly, it felt weird not putting. I feel like I mean, I know we had the other one out, but like it's like you know, it's been almost two weeks. So it's like, and that's why I knew you were like, hey, we gotta put one out. And I was like, I know we got to. It's like one of those things I feel like I hate, and then I feel bad putting a big one next week or later this week. I'm like, I feel bad, you know what I mean? But it's like, man, we've just been so busy with work, and then even us, you know what I mean, in general, it's like yeah, it's been crazy, man.
SPEAKER_04It's been crazy. We've had a lot of things going on. It was my fucking birthday, it got down birthday month, bro. Yeah, I celebrated, I celebrated early in November, and then of course, uh uh Saturday we had the party over there at the beer garden, you know. Shout out to the beer garden. Like, just so everyone knows, if you're here in Midland, the beer garden is now renting out their area for a venue. And man, it was nice, man. And we we had a great time, they had a nice dance floor, all kinds of beers. Like they do, they do basically a gear bar like they used to. Yeah, and it had all kinds of fucking beers, like every all the beer you could possibly want, right? And uh it was all kegs, it was all tap. Like it was it was badass, man.
SPEAKER_00I haven't been there in a few years, honestly. I think I've been in it, man. Honestly, you know what I mean. But that's cool. I always liked it. The mugs are heavy, you know what I mean? You need like a yeah, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04Like, nah, what if you do a party? He has like the he has like a big bar cart that connects all you can connect all the kegs. Oh and man, the beer was super cold, like, and of course it has all the spigots because you know they have the head of like god knows how many beers up there, yeah. But so he has the spigot, like he he was serving this fucking pineapple beer, bro. I never had it before, and it's not cider. So he had pineapple cider and then he had pineapple beer. Dang the pineapple beer was fucking phenomenal, bro. It was so good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it sounds good. I don't know. I might feel bad in the morning.
SPEAKER_04I had to I had to jump on no bro, and I it felt I was fine, you know, and that's what I drank all night. It was it was light, it was definitely a light beer for sure. It was a light beer for sure. Um, but with pineapple, man, and it was it was pretty fire, honestly.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's good, man. I mean, I mean that's I wish I would have made it, man. Uh and I was I was oh yeah, you good, but you know how it goes, man. It's just yeah stuff, and honestly, it's like um I told Corny, like, man, I've never been out of town so much as I have this year. And it's like, I don't know. We had a I think it might change a little bit where I'm gonna be more in town, but it's like, dang, I'm not used to I mean, it don't mind doing it, but every now and then you're like it's I'm like, man, I'm tired of being gone, like, bro. Like, you know what I mean?
Global Listeners And SLB Connections
SPEAKER_04Like, he's been yeah, I I think I think right now, I think right now, like you have to just chase it, you know what I mean? Like, uh, and I understand that 100%, but I do I do want to say because we've talked we've talked a lot about like the state of oil and gas and like where it was going and everything. And I'll be honest too, we talked about it like that. I don't know what what you know our government's plan is to make it better, Trump's plan is to make it better. Obviously, we know he's for uh oil and gas, but uh his he he was kind of showing us different, right? Because he was trying to, you know, raise production so we could drop prices so it could help everyone in gas prices. But it's funny, like even when I doubt, even when I have doubt about what's what he's gonna do or how he's gonna make, you know, you know, be a man of his word or whatever, it kind of shines through, bro. At this point, EVs are tanking, everything electrical is tanking, solar is tanking. All of this shit, all of this shit that was battling against oil and gas at this point is tanking, and everyone is reverting back to oil and gas. Everyone is investing more in oil and gas, and you see it, you see it now because the price when it dipped under 60, they cranked it up. It was crazy to me because it dipped under 60. I think we were at 58, and our jobs doubled. Yeah, and I was like four, like, yeah. What the fuck?
SPEAKER_00Well, I thought I felt like even whenever I remember it was like 45, 50 something, I was so busy, bro. I think it also depends on what accounts you have. Yeah, good accounts and they're busy, you're good. Like it just, you know what I mean? But I mean, I've I remember being the busiest ever, like at 45, dude, it was crazy, you know what I'm saying? And using word back in the day, 40, you're like, hey, that's yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Consistency, Busy Schedules, And Growth
Oil And Gas Outlook Vs EV And Solar
SPEAKER_04Like, yeah, and and I think it's another one of those things where he's kind of busting the myth that it has to be scarce for it to be profitable. Yeah, like he's like, and it's the truth because like it doesn't have to be scarce for it to be profitable, man. Like, if we're producing, and I know over here they were just like, you know what, fuck OPEG. They did a big fuck you to OPEC and said, hey, we're gonna produce like a y'all wanna y'all wanna come down, we're gonna pick it up. We're gonna pick it up here in Texas. And they did, and it's so fucking crazy, man, that that you know, I I did doubt it for sure. I was like, I don't know how he's gonna make it work. There's no doubt that certain people will get very rich in the times where there's scarcity, right? When a Democrat is in power and they're trying to bring in production instead of make it explode, right? And like fucking just produce crazy. Yeah, um, and there's no doubt, but it but I could tell you right now, like it's not us. Yeah, me and you ain't getting rich. I have the same salary I had when the price was fucking a hundred. Yeah, you know what I mean? So it's not not I'm bullshit, maybe not 180, whatever the works. Yeah, but I have the same salary when it was 80 and now it's 60. I have the same salary, and the whole point is that everybody's still making money. Yeah, so I know there was layoffs and everything. I don't I'm I'm definitely not trying to be like uh what do you call it? Um I'm not I'm definitely not trying to say that there weren't hardships or whatever, but I do think that it is correcting itself a little bit. I think I think we're seeing kind of the plan come through, like everything else that they were pouring money into the port and kind of putting their names behind and our government behind, which was EV and fucking all all the different other fucking types of fucking solar and wind and everything, whatever they were trying to dump money into, which not even a quarter of it got built. The infrastructure that they were planning to put out of fucking California didn't do shit with any of that. Like I know they're pretty supposed to put up some crazy fucking solar field or whatever, and I saw videos of it just dead.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's like uh huge money. It almost feels like a money laundering scheme in a way, too. A hundred percent, a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_04That's what it felt like, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I get it, I get what you're saying, but for sure, I and I also think like uh I think like in 2014, 2015, OPEC tried to destroy us, but then we realized we could make an under$50 barrel. And I think they they kind of like kind of it kind of got them back in a way, like, hey, you know, we're good, we don't need you guys, and honestly, I'm not getting tired of OPEC. I I never liked how we had to rely on these Saudi princes, they have too much control, dude.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, too much control, and they just want to destroy us.
SPEAKER_00That's the whole reason, right? Like, they're just dropping all because everything's cheap for them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, check this out, Rick. Thank you. Go down a little bit. Look at the hat, Rick.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. Nice there you go. Uh it's nice, man. Hey, we got more hats if he wants one at the oh yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04No, I'll take care of him. I'll take care of him. He's wearing that one. That's one of that's one of the ones that I had that I was wearing, and basically I sweated it out, and I was like, Yeah, just fucking take this one. So he's working in it and everything right now.
SPEAKER_00Uh, you know what I started doing is cut the I'll cut the the cardboard.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you just cut them on the edge right here.
SPEAKER_00I keep it in there, bro.
SPEAKER_04I don't even I don't even cut them, bro. No, I don't even cut them, I just leave them. It doesn't bother me at all. And it just helps with the sweat stain.
SPEAKER_00I don't mind till I look on the side and I see it right here, and then I'm like, oh yeah, yeah. But but uh it makes a big difference, dude. Like, and honestly, Taylor has also had the best hat, like all these one that one hat, like I never had a sweat stain. It's kind of sad to see him like you know, uh kind of call it a give it a break, but I think uh he said he'll let us know when they come back. But uh yeah, I was surprised to see that, but I was like, dang, you know, but sometimes you gotta do what's best for you, man.
OPEC, Prices, And Texas Production
SPEAKER_04If if you need a hundred percent 100, man, you know, I mean, I know they they were working hard on the brand, and I think the quality of the brand like spoke for itself, like it was phenomenal, man. Like you said, the hat, one of the best hats, and like the quality, and and they had really, really nice ones, like the I think it was the Dover, the one with the cow on it, dude. I got so many fucking compliments on that hat, yeah. Like it it's it's just quality, man. They had real good quality, you know. And shout out to them because they made my Christmas a whole lot fucking easier, you know what I'm saying? I bought like a hundred dollars worth of shit, like and uh you know, shout out to them. You know, the patch boys will always have love for for them, and and ten hats will be back. I know uh the brand is too good and their stuff is too good for them not to, you know, come back. But you're right, you sometimes you gotta take a step back. If you gotta take it, take it, you know. It's a yeah, it's that's the whole point of having your own business. Like, if you need to need to take it, take it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know, man. And I know, like, and especially I I mean it probably gets tiring doing shipping and stuff like that. You know what I mean? I don't know what it was for sure. And I think um, you know, it's funny is that I was uh I sent that link to my buddy too. He bought all this stuff, and I bought a shirt too, but I bought it was a little small on me, so I was like, Oh, it's going this is good. I know this is going my little brother. I mean, it's a Christmas present right here for sure, baby. For sure. Sure, dude. I was like, dang it. I wish I had amazing, bro.
SPEAKER_04Uh, the the quality of the products is fucking second to none from shit that I've that I've worn. I mean, it's they're real nice. They're real nice. So you know, I know they'll I know they'll be back in there. So a little, a little salute and farewell to Tehas Hustle, you know what I'm saying? Uh keep hustling, baby. Keep hustling. It's it's still gonna, it's still gonna rain. That that slogan's still gonna rain true, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it really is, man. And honestly, it's crazy because uh I feel like we've just been so busy, man, with everything. Like, and then I got the you know, we got the key to coming up, so we're like, we just been stuff together. We're pretty much done, man. You know, but you know, I don't know if you know this, but I've been sharing that I share a lot of his videos. Uh Stown guy, he's like, I think I think it's a stow, he's like he does all the rebel stuff, all the videos and stuff. Uh-huh. We um he's like the one that does all the video and then he edits it and stuff. But we got him to do Sophie's uh Hurricane's video. But yeah. So that's sick, bro. He's he's got great as solo, bro.
SPEAKER_03I was eating it and like this episode is brought to you by underdog wireline. Um, these guys handle everything in Wireline. We've been talking about them every week, and we mean everything we say. We appreciate their support. And if you need anything in Wireline Works, you give them a call at 432-288-0395. So as I speak, so any anything that you want and need, give them a call. You never know, they probably have it, and I know they have competitive pricing. Appreciate it.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I felt like uh uh it was like I don't really. Eat a solo because I don't like hot a solo, bro. And then I feel like I go, it's really hot, and I don't like I'm not really a fan of that. But this one I like because I did some recon, bro. I went right before and I got some. And uh it was like a nice like spice at first, and then but then it's not hot, bro. And I was like, Yeah, dude, this is pretty good, you know what I mean? Like, so yeah, bro. I did some uh recon on them guys, bro.
SPEAKER_04I told everybody everybody loves a good asado, bro. We just it's it's crazy. Like uh uh Erica's cousin Jesse, her parents, her aunt and uncle, they they do cater here and there or whatever. So they they made two of the meats. I made one, I made brisket, yeah, and then they made carnico chile verde and asado, and man, the fucking asado's fire, bro. They make fire fucking asado. And like it was funny because that whole time, the only thing I was thinking when I saw them, because I didn't know they were gonna make it, it was kind of a surprise that they made the asado. Man, I was like, I can't wait to put two eggs on that motherfucker in the morning. Fucking eat that motherfucker. Boy, asado with eggs, bro, is just it should be synonymous, bro. For Mexicans, it should be like fucking bacon, bro.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Straight up because asado with fucking two sunny sign eggs, eh? Slap your mama, bro.
SPEAKER_00And I mean it's good. I just like like I go to Don't Tomas a lot, and then like I'll eat there, and then it's like uh, but it's like too spicy for me, bro. Like I had to go to Chile Vele because it's just yeah, that's I don't even need salsa, you know what I mean? Like it's like damn, but but yeah, man.
Hats, Brands, And Small Business Shoutouts
SPEAKER_04I gotta I gotta put salsa on it anyway, baby. I it for me, you know, the older I got, like stuff that wasn't spicy, it was boring, bro. Yeah, and now like even now, like I'm always looking for my sandwiches. I bought so at fucking uh firehouse, you know, they said they have the different sauces, yeah. And I bought this Scorpion sauce, which is the hottest sauce that they have. Damn, and I was like, man, let's taste it. We take it's fucking phenomenal, so good, bro. So I bought a bottle and I have that for my sandwiches, and like we have we always have salsa for like our Mexican food, and then we have Louisiana for fucking anything else, pizza, the American. So it's crazy, but the older that I've that I've gotten, like I need spice on everything, bro. It's fucking uh it's crazy.
SPEAKER_00I've gone the opposite way. I don't want no spice, bro. No spice, maybe a little chahula or chalula. I can't chalula. I always get the name wrong, and the kids always make fun of me because I can't ever get it's all about it's all about Valentina, Rick. But you know, they don't have that every restaurant, so I get that. I put a couple drops and I'm done. Like, and uh, I don't know, bro. I'm not doing hot wings or nothing. I don't do I can't and everybody laughs at me because like, hey Rick, you want to try that? Like, nah, man, that's that's that's too hot for me, bro. I don't do spicy salsa, bro. You know what I mean? Like, I just can't do it, but you know what's crazy?
SPEAKER_04Like, like the further south you go, because like in Mexico, people love spice and chilies and the whole shit. And then, like, all the Venezuelan people that I met here and stuff, they do zero heat whatsoever. They're like some some shit that I'm just like, man, this shit isn't even flavorful, like just pepper. They're like, fuck, this shit is spicy. I'm like, what? It's fucking crazy, but yeah, their palate is just not made for it, I guess. I it's it's crazy. You would think I was like, they're further south of like they're gonna they're they're gonna eat the hot shit with fucking habaneros and shit, biting habaneros. Hell no, they can't take no eats.
SPEAKER_00They don't even they just do white rice a lot from what I heard. And yeah, I even asked the guy the day, I said, Do you like those um opas more or tortillas? And I'm like no, I like tortillas way better. I'm like, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. And then I said, I ate one thing, it was like a like an empanada, but it was full of meat. It's called I ate that, that wasn't too bad, but I was just like, No, they're good, they're they're good, man.
SPEAKER_04And also it's the same thing as anything else. It depends on who makes it, right? Like, yeah, if if my mom makes the the tortillas, bro, I'm gonna think those tortillas are way better than anything I can buy, or you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, and that's why I was like, man, you know, but uh it's funny because there's a restaurant here, Mexican restaurant in North Dakota, and uh, there's like uh I was looking at I was just looking at restaurants last time, and then it's like there's a video of this uh what's that guy's name, bro? He's like a he's like a makeup dude, like he has like blonde hair, and he does all this makeup. I can't think of his name, but I saw it for some reason this guy went to that restaurant, he did like a promo eating like uh oh Jeffree Starr, maybe something like that. White dude, uh, and he's got yeah, he has long blonde hair. Yeah, but he he doesn't say he's a chick, he says he's a dude, but he just got he looks like yeah, that's Jeffrey.
SPEAKER_04That's Jeffree Star. I like Jeffrey Star too. That food just living his truth in a in long hair and makeup.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. And with this, there's a video of this guy, and like it just pops up, and you're like, he's all eating the it's like that noodles with the uh with the uh what do you call it when you dip the taco in? Uh can't think of the name right now. Uh uh. Yeah, it's like that with the noodles, right? And this guy's eating. Like, I was just like, what? So I went and ate it. It was good. And I told this guy last time I said, Man, I went to that restaurant with that gay dude that was on the and he's like, Me too. I was like, it's so funny. This guy's out of know or just here at Casper and he's over there. It's funny, man.
SPEAKER_04And it's funny because I like Jeffree. I like Jeffrey Starler, he's he's a funny fucking dude. He he likes fucking making people like cringe and shit. You know what I'm saying? Like he enjoys that, but he's been getting the political scene a little bit too. And you know what's fucking interesting about him that saw video is that he actually partnered with Beretta.
SPEAKER_00Uh, what's that gun?
SPEAKER_04In Italy, yeah. The gun Beretta in Italy, where they made him a special fucking Beretta pistol. And he's got a collection, bro. I was watching that the other day. It's fucking funny. Like you wouldn't think, but he's like, Yeah, I love Berettas. And that's his that's his pistol of choice. And that's crazy. It's funny, is it is he's an interesting dude. He's been on a lot of fucking podcasts or whatever. And uh, but you know what? The LGBTQ community hates him.
Food Talk: Asado, Spice, And Taste
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because he knows uh he he's he knows he doesn't have a problem with gender, like man and woman.
SPEAKER_04Well he he doesn't he the main thing that he really despised or that said he really hated was the was the uh pronouns shit. Like he really, really disliked it.
SPEAKER_00Like yeah, and uh and the woman sports and all that stuff, and yeah, which is like crazy that people even think that's a thing of debate. But you know, I saw a video recently of uh it was like some black lady at a ghost gym and she was upset.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah, dude, that's crazy. That's a Cali though, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but then she actually uh she's getting hammered, bro. But she's getting uh Scott Wiener, that dude's a crew. But uh yeah, she confronts him, and that was a pretty good and then and the guy can't say nothing to her because first of all, she's the worst she's a woman of color worse.
SPEAKER_04Exactly the worst thing is that they're shitting on her. She's a lesbian and she's black, yeah. And they're shitting, she's like their kryptonite, bro. Yeah, they have no idea what to say to her or anything, and she's just like, This don't have nothing to do about my gender, my race, or anything like that. It's about my fucking safety. Yeah, that's what she's saying, and they're like answer it.
SPEAKER_00Like, he was just like he was just running circles, like, and I'm like, it's just like man, it's just crazy to see stuff like that, you know what I mean? Like, and I'm glad you can come to people like that. And that dude is a creep, bro. Like, he's passed some bills where you're like, what the heck? And I think he's trying to go for uh Nancy Pelosi's spot if I'm correct. So oh, he is, yeah. I think so, because he's like a mayor, I think, and I think he's going for that now, senator or whatever, something like that. But so be fucking losers, yeah. I know man, but you know, it's California, San Francisco.
SPEAKER_04He's probably you know California's a California is a lost cause to me, bro.
SPEAKER_00That's why I'll say a way that they think Newsom's got a chance. Knowing he just put his own state, he's live. Yeah, he's you know, remember COVID? He had his business open and they're all partying, he had everybody on lockdown, yeah. Like and Joe Rogan hates that guy, bro.
SPEAKER_04But oh, he fucking hates him because he's he's just saying that he's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and then he's the reason why he left California, really. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that guy pushed him really to leave, like he didn't want to live there. It's just crazy, you know. But I I I will I was I watch I dabble in stuff like that every now and then just to stay uh ahead, you know. Yeah, current I yeah, me too, me too.
SPEAKER_04I'm not really diving into it because like I I I imagine there's shit to dive into, yeah, but like it's it at this point, at this point, like we gotta let who we voted for, the the Trump administration, yeah, do what they gotta do, you know what I mean? Individual states, God bless Texas, yeah, individual states have to do what they do, you know what I mean? And it and some of the stuff about staying local was very true. Like, we do have to worry about local politics to a certain extent, yeah. Um, but definitely dabble into other states, like the Mamdani thing. If New York burns to the ground, better for Texas. The Texas Stock Exchange will take it over. Don't worry, baby. We got it from the case. We'll take it from here, New York.
SPEAKER_00I just don't want those, I just don't want them here, bro. You know, I get tired of it over here. That's what gets me. Is like, and then they get a vote here in Texas, and honestly, it's like I feel like, man, I wish they would their vote was just counting New York still. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know. I know I I it's probably a rational, but it's like you come here and then you're gonna vote for a moderate because over here we you gotta say it, like we have moderate Democrats here because they know if they go far left, they won't get voted in here. But if they're moderate, so these people come over here, they see a moderate Democrat like oh, he don't seem bad. We're gonna vote for this guy. Now you're just really bringing that stuff in over and that and that's what kind of thing is like that's why I was kind of happy they're gonna put tariffs on these guys. I'm like, dude, I don't I don't really, I don't, I don't know how that's gonna work.
SPEAKER_04I I can't say I know, but they were the bullshitting, they can't do it. I mean just like the only thing is like maybe maybe if they're bringing businesses over here, yeah, yeah. Because they are a bunch of they're saying that a bunch of businesses want to move to Florida and Texas. I can see a hundred percent tax those the fuck out of those motherfuckers, tax the shit out of them. Yeah and uh and you know don't make it as profitable or whatever, but that I I'm I am I am excited for the Texas Stock Exchange to get more power, which they are, like yeah, there's no doubt about it. Um I'm excited for that because that's good for Texas, period. And business is coming over here, that's good for Texas. Um, I definitely am not excited uh for the votes. You're 100% right, and yeah, you know, it may be a radical thought, you like you said, but yeah, 100%. Like I think I think you should have been born in Texas to have your vote.
SPEAKER_00Like if you're uh fucking here for 10 years, bro.
SPEAKER_04Something, something.
Jeffree Star, Guns, And Culture Clashes
SPEAKER_00But yeah, I don't know. I think it's I I know it's a radical thought, but I always I don't know, but I know a lot of people agree with me on that, you know what I mean? Because it's like people come in and you're like, you know, like I just and Texas is so different when you depending on your state, who who they are, you know what I'm saying? Like and uh I think that's just where it goes, you know. But but yeah, I just uh that stuff's crazy when you think about how how it's getting, man, and all that. But you know, I'm just glad uh I'm just glad we're in Texas, baby. You know what I mean? I love it. Yeah, me too, bro. I go over here to the I went over here to the Texas Roadhouse. Oh shoot. Can you see me, dude? Yeah, I can see you, but I don't know why it's not I feel like it's not moving back and forth.
SPEAKER_01Oh, this is what it is. I got you now. There we go.
SPEAKER_00I was like, why can't I see myself? I got you now. But no, like I just feel like uh oh yeah, I was at Texas Roadhouse and then like uh I'm walking out and I'm like, dude, I belong here more than anybody else in this sucker, you know what I mean? Like and I got the and I got the roadhouse uh uh you know clothes on and stuff. I mean the Texas uh crocs on. So you know that I'm just like dude, I fuck it. I belong here more than anybody else, dude.
SPEAKER_04You know, but uh you know it feels it feels good to be from Texas, baby. I'll say that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, was it uh so so what are you getting ready for uh Thanksgiving too? Were you gonna do it at your house or what?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we're gonna do it here at the house. Uh we're gonna put up lights here in a minute. We're we're I mean at this point, yeah, I had to give in. Fucking nobody gives a fuck about Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday, so I'll enjoy it my way. We're gonna cook here. I'm gonna I'm gonna uh do a ham and a fucking turkey, and we're just gonna have the whole shit here and uh watch football all fucking day and drink all fucking day while I cook. That's it's just that's the dream, baby. That's the dream. So I'm gonna set up outside, I'm gonna have my fucking my whole setup with the fryers, the grills, everything outside. Yeah, and we're gonna get after it.
SPEAKER_00So what about you? Oh, I'm sure we just I don't even know yet. They might do something at our house, something like that. It just depends. Like you know, though, I usually let Courtney and them figure it all out. I just did something with my mom this weekend. She wanted to um get something going uh early because you know how it is, like it's like everybody's everywhere, so kind of we do something a little early. So that's what we did and went from there, man. But also, uh, I was gonna tell you so AJ's AJ's uh like wife, uh, she's making cookies, selling them now. She I sold I shared them once, but the next time we do in town, she wants to give us something we can have on when we do an episode. So I'll let you know we'll bring them out. But she makes pretty good cookies, bro. It's mama's uh cookie jar, I think it's called. And I've shared it before on Instagram and stuff like that, but we're gonna have to we'll check into that, you know what I'm saying, and go from there, man. Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_04But hell yeah, bro. Hey, you give me a cookie, you know what I'm saying? It was gonna be all right.
SPEAKER_00It was good, man. I just you know, you know, but I'm uh I'm not really a sweet tooth kind of guy, you know what I mean? But the kids love it, you know what I'm saying? And I ate one and it was really good, and it has like a banana pudding one, and uh man, it had me all riled up, bro. Yeah, it had me all riled up, man. Uh sugar going through the roof and all that stuff, you know. But but yeah, Jesus, but I appreciate you uh coming on and uh you know, we can go for uh just a little episode for everybody, you know. I think that um it was good just to put something out. We just haven't and we don't have much more time, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_04So I think it's yeah, I think everybody enjoyed our our last episode and yeah, I got a lot of stuff.
SPEAKER_00Even Romeo was everybody, bro.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Rome Romeo hit me up too. Like it was just kind of a raw episode, a raw, uncut episode of us just you know, going back and forth having a conversation and and you know, showing at least I I loved it because we can show people what it's like to have a conversation, not totally agree, and still be a hundred percent okay with it, you know what I'm saying? And I think it's very more and more and more important for people to do that. Like, don't just don't just sit in front of a camera by yourself and talk shit to the whole world, and just get as many people to have discord with you, like Ricky and I did, as much as possible. And even if uh the conversation goes left a little or whatever the fuck, like at least you know, at the end of it, it'll be y'all can be respectful, everything like good discourse and conversation is super fucking important right now, man, because the way the way the world is going, like everybody's okay shitting on other people and hating on other people without even you know having a good conversation and getting to know them, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00For sure. We need it. Yeah, and like uh, you know, like just the different views itself, you know. Uh and it's like because like sometimes people can get heated on that stuff, you know what I mean? Like people that are very proud, and then it's like and it's hard to, you know, you gotta you gotta be uh really um you know humble and have and be able to talk like that because some people get really emotional over things like that, you know. So I think it was good too. And honestly, it was like um, you know, I one thing that that was wild too is that I was watching that podcast yesterday, and um, you know, I know there's like different denominations for Christianity, but there's also there's also that for Islam too. I did not know that. It's like oh I had no idea. Me too. This guy, man, there's a really great pod cut podcast. Like the guy was like very like, I mean, I honestly it's hard because you're like the words he uses, you're like you don't understand, you don't, you know, it's just language we don't speak, so it's like, yeah, what the heck? But there's like three different type types of I thought that was wild. I was like, I didn't even, and I don't know, it's it's kind of confusing, but it's really good, it's really accurate. And I was just like, Man, I was learning all kinds of stuff, dude. But I was just like, I like stuff like that where I can learn. That's interesting. Yeah, it's yeah, I'll send it to you because honestly, it was really knowledgeable, at least when it came to that and Christianity. Then he said something wild because one thing I've been a little nervous about is like the um like the rise in Islam in Texas and stuff like that in America, right? But he one thing he was saying was that a lot of people are like he's like they're not like radical radicals, they're like people are born into it and they don't maybe live, they want a regular life, but you know, it's it's not so radical. But he said, you know, 10% of them are radical, which is a lot if there's billions of them, right? But he was just he was like, you know, he I don't know, it kind of made a little ease, put me a little bit of ease on that stuff, you know what I mean? Because that's good. That's one thing that you know I I do think about a lot, but uh it was it was really good, man, really informing, you know what I'm saying? Like stuff like that. So I thought it was wild. But yeah, our conversation was good. I got a lot of uh we got a lot of compliments and stuff on it. I mean, even right now we still get likes and messages on uh on it from TikTok and stuff. So I think it turned out really well, man. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but it was a great episode and we enjoyed it. Like that conversation, like after we were like, man, good fucking talk. You know what I mean?
