The Naked Texture Artist is a podcast where VFX/animation veterans have deep and honest conversations about their challenges and growth as working artists.

I am so happy to bring Chris Nichols to The Naked Texture Artist. He is definitely most famous for painting the textures of Thanos for Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, but more than that, he is truly an artist's artist. His passion for creature work and cinema is infectious and reminds us, that no matter how successful we are, we are all just fans at the end of the day.

Over the course of more than 3 hours, we had an in-depth and very wide ranging conversation. There will be many, many episodes from that conversation, but as Chris is sharing some really awesome stuff, and very freely so, I deliberately want to keep them short, so his gems do not slip through the cracks of a longer session.
