The Naked Texture Artist is a podcast where VFX/animation veterans have deep and honest conversations about their challenges and growth as working artists.

These are grim times. More than half of the good people in the film industry are without work these days. If that includes you too, you are certainly not alone. Speak up and share your pain with your friends and former colleagues.

We need some “comfort food for artists.” Chris Nichols and I continue our conversation, where we discuss many of the things working artists obsess over: burn out, coming up with new and believable looks for creatures that never existed in the real world and many more things.

It is my hope that you will learn a lot of useful stuff, and maybe even be entertained for the next 48 minutes, so as to forget the difficult situation outside of our control.
