xHope
xHope exists to restore dignity and bring hope to vulnerable youth and families. We create tangible experiences that remind and empower young people they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Through initiatives like Threads of Hope, Say Yes to the Dress or Suit, Birthday Bash, Pathways of Hope mentorship, and practical resource support, we walk alongside foster and at risk youth in Sacramento County. We focus on meaningful moments that shift identity, build confidence, and open doors to long term stability.
At the same time, we remain committed to international partnership through Redeemer Academy in Uganda, investing in education and opportunity that strengthens families and communities.
Above all, we tell stories of redemption. Stories where dignity replaces shame. Where community replaces isolation. Where Christ centered hope becomes visible through real people, real relationships, and real change.

A Lifetime of Saying Yes : A Foster Mom’s Story
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
For decades, she has opened her home to children who needed safety, stability, and someone who would not give up on them.
In this episode, we sit down with a foster mom whose story is not defined by one moment, but by a lifetime of quiet, consistent care. She shares what led her into fostering, the weight she has carried, and the moments that have stayed with her long after the doors closed.
You will hear about the realities most people never see. The uncertainty. The emotional cost. The courage it takes to keep showing up.
You will also hear something deeper. The small breakthroughs. The trust that builds over time. The moments where a child begins to believe they matter.
This conversation is honest and grounded. It does not rush past the hard parts. But it also makes space for what has held her steady through the years.
xHope is honored to walk alongside foster families like hers. Not just in moments of need, but through the ongoing journey of care, resilience, and hope.
If you have ever wondered what it really looks like to foster, or why someone would keep saying yes for decades, this story will stay with you.
