xHope
xHope exists to restore dignity and bring hope to vulnerable youth and families. We create tangible experiences that remind and empower young people they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Through initiatives like Threads of Hope, Say Yes to the Dress or Suit, Birthday Bash, Pathways of Hope mentorship, and practical resource support, we walk alongside foster and at risk youth in Sacramento County. We focus on meaningful moments that shift identity, build confidence, and open doors to long term stability.
At the same time, we remain committed to international partnership through Redeemer Academy in Uganda, investing in education and opportunity that strengthens families and communities.
Above all, we tell stories of redemption. Stories where dignity replaces shame. Where community replaces isolation. Where Christ centered hope becomes visible through real people, real relationships, and real change.

In this episode, you will hear directly from a mentee in the Pathways of Hope mentorship program.
Pathways of Hope is built on consistency. Mentors walk with young people over time, helping them set goals, build confidence, and move forward on their own path. In her own words, she shares what it was like to step into something new, connect with mentors, and begin to see herself differently.
What started as simply “trying a program” became something more. A space where she felt supported, challenged, and encouraged. A place where she discovered strengths she had not fully seen before.
Through mentorship, feedback, and real relationships, she began to gain clarity about her future, including a growing confidence in pursuing a career path in therapy. More than that, she found reassurance that she is not behind, that she has time, and that her path is her own.
This is a story about growth, connection, and what can happen when someone shows up consistently in a young person’s life.
