#009 Two Buckets
In our journey of faith, we often encounter conflicts that challenge our unity as believers. Today, we explore the profound concept of 'two buckets' - one filled with gasoline to fuel conflict, and another with water to extinguish it. This powerful metaphor reminds us of our choice in every interaction: to escalate tension or to be peacemakers. Drawing from Matthew 5:9, 'Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God,' we're called to actively pursue unity, not just keep the peace. This pursuit requires humility, forgiveness, and a willingness to have courageous conversations. By pre-positioning ourselves to respond to offenses with grace and understanding, we can transform potential divisions into opportunities for growth and deeper connection within the body of Christ.
