Surrounded by God's Light with Neill Marriott
Have you felt the Lord’s love in small and simple ways in the middle of your personal challenges? Neill Marriott shares her story of the Lord shedding His light along her path to remind her that He lives, He knows her, and He loves her. One of Neill’s hardest times was being thousands of miles away in Brazil when their daughter who was attending Indiana University, was hit by a truck while riding her bike and died. Even in this challenging time, she testifies of the small and simple miracles that reminded her that she was surrounded by God’s love and His light was there.
Neill grew up in a Methodist family in Louisiana and was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by a friend in college who later became her husband. Together, she and her husband have served the Lord in many callings, including missions leaders in Brazil and she has served as second counselor in the general Young Women presidency.
