Love Him Fiercely with Katy Gille
Whether our own faith or someone close to us is struggling with their faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it can be a very difficult time for both sides of a relationship to show love and respect for each other.
How could this be part of God’s plan? This is the question that changed the perspective for Katy Gille as she and her husband were in the middle of trying to love and respect each other as their beliefs in God were shifting in different directions. Katy shares her story of a mixed-faith marriage and how she has learned to love her husband through the slow process of him stepping away from the church and becoming agnostic.
Through this journey, Katy’s spiritual gift of empathy has been challenged and empathy has been a gift to help her see her husband for who he is and love him fiercely. Katy continues to shine her light of Christ by strengthening other people who are close to someone whose beliefs of faith and religion are shifting. Katy and her husband are raising their 3 children on a farm in South Carolina.
