Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Bad Company, Outkast, the White Stripes, Soundgarden and Cyndi Lauper will all be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this Fall. Warren Zevon and Salt-N-Pepa are receiving special awards for musical influence. Nominees that didn't get in this year include Mariah Carey, Phish, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Maná, the Black Crowes and Oasis.  The induction is November 8th.  It will air live on Disney+ and on Hulu the next day. A condensed version will air on ABC at a yet-to-be-announced date.


Original KISS drummer Peter Criss will release a new album in the fall, featuring a lineup of renowned musicians. Barry Pointer is co-producing the record.  He’s worked with artists like Ozzy Osbourne and Marilyn Manson.  Joining Peter Criss on the record:  Billy Sheehan on bass, John 5 and Mike McLaughlin on guitar, and Paul Shaffer on piano.


TMZ says a white Fender Stratocaster guitar smashed by Kurt Cobain in 1992 recently sold for $101,500. A Texas collector bought it.


Daryl Hall is about to embark on a solo tour in the UK and the US following his acrimonious split with John Oates last year. The upcoming tour will feature a mix of songs from Hall's solo album and Hall & Oates hits.  Hall is coming to the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem July 19th, or you can check him out in A/C July 25th
