Dev Patel is set to write, direct, and star in The Peasant, a period action thriller described as “Braveheart” meets “John Wick”.  The project, set in the 1300s, and it follows a shepherd seeking revenge against mercenary knights who attacked his community.


A "Miami Vice" movie is in the works.  It'll be directed by the same guy who did "Top Gun: Maverick". 


Netflix plans to launch a reality competition series called The Golden Ticket. It is inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  Contestants will have to navigate challenges in a chocolate factory to win. 


Travis Kelce has unfollowed Ryan Reynolds.  It's not clear if he's mad at Ryan, or if he just doesn't want to get dragged into the Blake Lively / Justin Baldoni drama.  


TMZ says 'X-Files' star David Duchovny is selling his Malibu estate for $12.5 million. The three-bedroom house has a lap pool, an outdoor kitchen, and spa amenities. The property boasts lush landscaping with mature citrus trees. The back of the home has a black train caboose that can be used as a gym, an office or a guest suite 


Recently, Khloe Kardashian launched a new popcorn brand called Khloud with 7 grams of protein per serving. The marketing and branding of the popcorn use phrases like "good stuff" and "no fillers or fake stuff"...which seems odd, coming from a Kardashian.
