Ozzy Osbourne performed his final live show in Birmingham, England on Saturday. (CLIP) 40,000 fans were in attendance for the 'Back To The Beginning' Black Sabbath farewell concert. Ozzy performed while seated on a black throne. Ozzy’s solo set included "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley", and "Mama, I'm Coming Home". He was then joined by the rest of Black Sabbath for four songs: "War Pigs", "Iron Man", "N.I.B.", and "Paranoid". Ozzy told the crowd "You have no idea how I feel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." (CLIP)
Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne is engaged. Her boyfriend Sid Wilson of Slipknot proposed during the show. Poor Sid–he’s going to have Sharon for a Mother in Law. Sharon says there's a band that she disinvited from the event after they wanted to make a profit. Quote, "After the show, I'll let everybody know who it was. I think people will be shocked."
Guns N' Roses played four Sabbath classics Saturday: "It's Alright", "Technical Ecstasy", "Never Say Die!", and "Junior's Eyes" before closing out their set with "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Paradise City". Metallica, meanwhile, covered two Black Sabbath songs during their six-song set: "Hole In The Sky" and "Johnny Blade", along with Metallica classics "Creeping Death", "For Whom The Bell Tolls", "Battery", and "Master Of Puppets".
Steven Tyler made an appearance during Black Sabbath's final concert. He was joined by Ronnie Wood, Tom Morello, Rudy Sarzo, Chad Smith, and others. Tyler’s set included “Train Kept-a Rollin’”, “Walk This Way” and a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love”. (CLIP)
Other concert stuff: Oasis kicked off their reunion tour over the weekend with two shows in Wales. The reunited Gallagher brothers delivered a 23-song set spanning their entire career. It was the first time the band performed since 2009.
