"Superman" (PG-13)
David Corenswet is your new Superman in this new DCU version directed by James Gunn, who's most famous for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies. They use the classic John Williams theme from 1978's "Superman". And Christopher Reeve's son has a cameo as a news reporter in one of the crowd scenes
"Skillhouse" (Not yet rated)
A horror movie where 50 Cent lures ten social media influencers to a content house, traps them there, forces them to start from scratch by erasing their millions of followers . . . and kills off whoever earns the fewest "likes".
Larry David is returning to HBO with a sketch comedy limited series about American history, co-written with Jeff Schaffer. Barack and Michelle Obama are executive producing the series, with Obama joking, "Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David." The sketch series will feature a mix of Curb Your Enthusiasm actors and guest stars. Reportedly, the series will revolved around the Obamas wanting to honor America's 250th anniversary until Larry David intervenes. There will be six episodes, but the air date hasn't been announced.
The Scrubs revival got a straight-to-series order from ABC. It will premiere this fall. Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke are officially attached to the project as stars and executive producers.
The "Office" spinoff, "The Paper", will premiere on Peacock on September 4th.
