Styx and Cheap Trick are teaming up for a week-long series of dates next May. This is in addition to the tours both bands already have lined up for next year. Unfortunately for us, all of the co-headlining dates are in the mid west. But, you can see Cheap Trick in Bensalem PA on April 3rd, and Styx along with Chicago in Camden, NJ on July 21st.
Tesla keeps adding dates to their “Still Keepin’ it Real” tour. You can catch that tour in Bethlehem, PA on January 23rd. They’re also out with Motley Crue next year, and that tour kicks off at The Starlake on July 17th.
A musical obit today: Singer Carl Carlton died at age 72. He had a hit in 1974 with “Everlasting Love”. He also scored a hit in 1981 with "She’s a Bad Mama Jama", which earned a Grammy nomination and appeared in a number of movies and TV shows.
Mariah Carey will perform at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.
