The Rolling Stones won't tour next year because Keith Richards isn't up to it.  There's no word why, but he's been dealing with arthritis in recent years.  Keef turns 82 tomorrow. Ronnie Wood, however confirmed that new music from The Rolling Stones is in the works, and an album is expected to be released sometime next year.

Donna Summer is the latest songwriter to be posthumously inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Summer wrote or co-wrote nine of her 14 top 10 hits, including "Love to Love You Baby," "I Feel Love," and "She Works Hard for the Money."

How do you get to Carnegie Hall?  Practice.  And if you’re there March 12 of next year, you’ll hear The Music of Billy Joel.  It’s a special tribute night to the Piano Man, and performers will include Rufus Wainwright, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tanya Tucker, Gavin DeGraw, Rob Thomas and Pat Monahan.  Alexa Ray, Billy Joel’s daughter will also perform and the House Band will be Joel’s backing band.  That’s leading to speculation that Billy, himself will do a few songs.  VIP tickets for the Music Of Billy Joel concert are available…for $35,000.

Netflix says Snoop Dogg is set to headline their Christmas Day halftime show.  His performance will stream live from Minneapolis during the Lions-Vikings matchup.
