A new video has just been released of John Lennon and Yoko Ono performing at a benefit concert for the families of those killed in New York’s Attica prison in 1971.  The concert was Dec. 17, 1971, at the Apollo Theater in New York. The video shows John & Yoko and the Plastic Ono Band performing what was then a new song, “Attica State.” The performance is one of 92 bonus tracks that appear on the John and Yoko box set Power to the People (Super Deluxe Edition), which came out in October. 

Bryan Adams is putting together a massive tour for next year.  He’ll be playing on five different continents: North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa.  Despite that, though, So far, he’s only got one one stop planned for the continental United States.  He’ll be doing a couple of shows in Las Vegas between June 3rd and June 6th.  

Also touring the world next year:  Def Leppard.  They’ll be playing Europe, India, and the U.K after they finish their Vegas Residency in February.  

Wiz Khalifa was sentenced to nine months in jail by a Romanian court for drug possession.  This comes after he was stopped by police in July of 2024 for allegedly smoking cannabis on stage at a music festival.  It is uncertain if Romanian authorities will seek extradition since Khalifa is a U.S. citizen and does not reside in Romania.
