Lynyrd Skynyrd is going to reissue their fourth album, “Gimme Back My Bullets.”  It’s coming out on red, yellow and black multicolor vinyl to celebrate its 50th anniversary, which was this past Monday.  Also, Skynyrd’s “Freebird” will be in a Super Bowl commercial this weekend.  

Dee Snider is retiring from Twisted Sister due to a series of health challenges, and that caused the band to cancel their 50th anniversary tour.  Snider suffers from degenerative arthritis, which has required multiple operations.  On his departure, Dee said, “I don’t know of any other way to rock. The idea of slowing down is unacceptable to me. I’d rather walk away than be a shadow of my former self.”

Want to be the new singer of Skid Row?  Send them a video.  They’re holding worldwide auditions to replace Erik Grönwall, who left the band in 2024.  Skid Row says they have no intention of ever reuniting with Sebastian Bach.  

A tape of Ozzy Osbourne rehearsing in 1980, after Black Sabbath fired him, has been found.  It features Ozzy jamming with two future members of his band, guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Bob Daisley. 

A documentary is in the works about the upcoming Tupac Shakur murder trial.
