Stephen Colbert is co-writing a new Lord of the Rings movie. Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema made the announcement yesterday. Colbert, who is a major Tolkien fan, will co-write the movie with his son.  Don’t look for it any time soon, though. This one will come out after "The Hunt for Gollum", and that isn’t due until December of 2027. 

The “Murder She Wrote” reboot has a release date:  December 22nd of next year. Jamie Lee Curtis will star as Jessica Fletcher, the role originally played by Angela Lansbury in the TV series.

Savannah Guthrie was interviewed about the search for her mother for today and tomorrow's episodes of the "Today" show.  She says, quote, "Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony."

TMZ reports that Taylor Frankie Paul will receive her full 'Bachelorette' salary despite the series being pulled. The amount is in the low-to-mid six figures.  BTW, Taylor Frankie Paul has now been hit with a THIRD domestic violence allegation.
