Last weekend, they held the Juno Awards–they’re the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards.  Rush played at the Junos as a way to showcase their new lineup, which includes drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.  The song they played:  “Finding my Way” from Rush’s debut album, and we have a clip.  Afterwards, Geddy Lee says Neil Peart would have been "very pleased" with Rush's comeback performance.

Eric Clapton, who turned 81 yesterday, announced details for this year’s Crossroads Guitar Festival. On the bill with EC:  Pete Townshend of the Who, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons and Buddy Guy.  This will be the first year the festival is in Austin, Texas and it’s happening Sept. 26-27

Metallica's All Within My Hands charity donated $125,000 to flood relief in Hawaii.  

Deep Purple is touring with Kansas this summer.  The tour kicks off in Raleigh, North Carolina this August, but there are no PA dates.
