Lindsey Buckingham was attacked in Santa Monica. A woman, described as a stalking suspect, threw an unknown substance at Buckingham and fled the scene. Buckingham was not injured during the attack, and police are working on making an arrest.
Bruce Springsteen kicked off his latest tour in Minneapolis, and during the show he paid tribute to Prince. Bruce and the E-Street Band covered "Purple Rain".
Jon Bon Jovi received a James Beard Impact Award for his work with the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. The foundation operates the JBJ Soul Kitchen in New Jersey, and has provided support for almost 1,000 units of affordable and supportive housing in 12 states, serving thousands of people, including youth and veterans.
Collective Soul announced a new album. It will be called “Touch and Go” and it will be released as a Record Store Day exclusive on April 18th. Apparently, it’s a New Wave inspired album that draws a lot of influence from groups like The Cars.
