Episode Notes:

First Principle: God loves questions.

·        Jesus was asked about 183 questions in the Gospels and only answered about three directly.

·        We are worthy to ask God questions.

·        God wants a relationship with us.

·        God has a lot of thoughts and emotions. E.g. Psalm 139:17-18

·        We need to be able to recognise the answer.

·        Connect with God as a person.

·        A great starting place is the Bible.

·        Can God trust you to keep a secret?

Second Principle – Am I asking the right question? We may need to change the question.

·        Questions around suffering and injustice.

·        The waiting can be frustrating.

·        How we wait is important.

·        Important considerations to wait 'well'.

Third Principle – Ask open-ended questions, especially with major life decisions.

·        Great questions instead of asking, "God, should I marry this person?"

·        Great questions about where to live?

·        Great questions instead of asking, "Should I accept this job?"

·        Help God put light on issues you haven't been aware of.

Prophetic activation: 

Turn your heart and thoughts to Father God and ask Him: 

·        Father God, how do You see me?

·        Father God, what are You doing in my life at the moment that perhaps I'm not aware of?

·        What would You love to say about the pain in my past?

·        What would You love me to know about my future?

·        What Bible verse do You have for me right now?

·        How can I love someone today?
