From Skeptic to Believer: A Guide to Conscious Manifestation (#045)

Today, I'm going to be teaching you how to manifest anything you want. The truth is that I never used to believe in manifestation, I didn't really understand it. And it's a word that's often hyped. So we see it all over our social media feed, or you hear people talking about it. But it's something that can really be overused to the point where you're not even sure if it's true or real. So
I want to tell you that we are always manifesting. So we are literally always creating our experience of the world. The thing is that most of us are not creating consciously. So our experience of having that same type of relationship happen over and over again, or going into a workplace and having that same exhausting pattern with whoever our bosses or whatever the company is.
Those are things that we're actually manifesting because we believe that they're true. And our whole experience and body and system are telling us that that's true. And that's how things are. So if you don't believe in manifestation, well, first of all, maybe this isn't for you. Second of all, take a look through your life to see places where you have been creating experiences exactly as you don't want them.
So just by not wanting them reinforcing, reinforcing, we might accidentally be bringing that very thing into our life. That being said, manifestation is real. It is possible to be intentional about the things that we want to bring into our life instead of it happening by accident. And there are tools that can support you to create exactly what you want in your life.
The truth is that I have many tools that have supported me over the years, but I want to teach you one specific methodology that has been working for me over the last couple of years, very strongly, and something that I teach and work with my clients on that gets them the results that they're looking for as well. In my own life, this has become opportunities to work together with others in retreats.

or to give talks or to work with clients that I absolutely love. It has helped me to find the house that we're living in now with a beautiful garden and it's technically a suburb of Northern London. So really finding all of these different things in my life, almost exactly how I imagined them to be. So the very first step when you want to manifest anything is to get
clear on what you want. This can be incredibly challenging. I know it sounds so simple. Yeah, great. Just find out what I want. Like some of us spent years or decades trying to figure that out. But the truth is that the clearer that we can be about I want this thing so badly that we know it, the easier it's going to be to go through the process. So
If you're a person who has a lot of ideas, you know, I'm raising my hand on this one. If there's many different things that you might want, or you're not that clear on what the one thing is, you can start this process by just choosing one thing that you would love to see in your life. It doesn't have to be the big ultimate goal. It doesn't have to be I'm earning, you know, a million pounds a year. It can be I have a steady income through my business.
And the more that you get practice and start to believe that this is possible because you'll see results in your life, then over time, you can start to up the stakes and wish and hope and think of and dream of bigger things that maybe you're not ready to step into today. That's an important piece because if we start to think of something that's too big, if I say I want to
you know, run a retreat center. If it's very far from my current reality, there's gonna be a part of me that might not believe it at all. And then the work that I'm gonna have to do is gonna be harder to get to a place of actually believing from where I am right now, which is like, yeah, you're right. Like there's no way this is gonna happen. So

you might want to start with something a bit smaller as you test this process. And you'll also find ways to make it more your own. So the first thing is to get clear on what you want. And you might do this just by writing out all of the different things that you want and seeing which really has that like electric charge, maybe it has to do with your appearance or your weight or your job or your romantic life or the money in your bank account. The sky's the limit.
take your pick one thing that actually feels really potent and important for you. When you get clear on what it is that you want, then you start to get clear about what you don't want. So just the same as you spend time thinking about the thing that you want, you wanna now spend time thinking about everything that you do not want in your life.
This helps you to get a bit clearer and clearer. if I know going back to that example, I want to have a retreat center. I might know I don't want to.

I don't want to be a facilitator in someone else's retreat, or I don't want to be.

So as soon as you can actually get clear on what it is that you do want, you can also write a counter list of all the things you don't want. This might help you to really test the ground of the thing that you say that's really important to you. And sometimes you can do this in reverse because while it may be difficult to get that clarity on exactly what we want, very often we know what we don't want.
This might help you to be able to narrow down the field of the thing that you really want to bring into your life and give you a lot of clarity on what's actually not working for you now. This also has the added benefit that you're not making your dream smaller to fit what you don't want. So an example of this is if I am working in a job that I'm really not enjoying, I might start to list
I don't want to work with this kind of boss. I don't want to work in this kind of job. I don't want to earn this kind of salary. But actually, that's all just related to that job. So if I start to dream from that place, then I'm going to be saying I want to earn twice as much as I earn now, as opposed to the number you actually really want to earn. Or you might say, I don't want to work in finance anymore, as opposed to I really want to work in theater. So.
you're just letting yourself see the ways that you might be keeping it a little bit smaller and the way that your dream might be shaped more by what you don't want than actually what you do. So when you've completed that list of what you don't want, you can check in again on the thing that you really want to manifest in your life and make sure that it still holds true, not based on exactly what you have today, but based on what your heart is really calling you for.
So once you have this clear, you start to think about who will you become as a result of having this thing. So if you start to really imagine if I have X, Y, Z, the thing that you want to manifest, I will be more confident, I will be more empowered.

I will feel really sexy, or I'll feel strong, or I'll feel beautiful, or I'll be able to accomplish 20 times as much as what I can accomplish today. So you start to really connect yourself into the person that you are becoming and that you will become when this manifestation comes to life. So this is actually helping you to not only
Imagine a future that you can't yet see, so you're starting to create a picture for yourself of what that future is really going to look like. But it also helps you to start embodying those qualities already. One of the quickest ways that we can bring our manifestations to us and bring them to life is to already embody that thing, that person,
the way that we're going to be when we have that to already embody that today, when you start to come up with what those characteristics are, the things that you want to embody that you know, you're stepping into and becoming. You can do a side project just to measure today, how confident do I feel? How, how much in my power do I feel? How beautiful do I feel and give yourself this ranking to get an understanding?
on a scale of one to 10, where am I now? And you start to see where you need to be when you're actually bringing this thing to life. So that will give you one indication of where your energy is, of where you are, of how you are actually embodying the person that you want to become in the future already today, or how you're not.
The next step because this is going to bring up a lot of doubts, a lot of fears, a lot of questions. You might be saying, yeah, okay, I want to feel more beautiful. But today I feel like seven out of 10. I don't really feel that beautiful. Great. Your doubts are going to start rising to the surface very quickly. We are not going to ignore them. We're not going to pretend they're not there. We're not gaslighting ourself or our emotions. What we want to be doing now is to really honor those fears and honor

those doubts. You're going to write out every single doubt and fear and negative thought that you have about either yourself or what will happen when this thing will come true. So you might write it as a sentence saying, I am afraid that when x, y, z comes to life, I will dot dot dot, maybe you'll lose all your friends.
Maybe you won't be earning as much money. Maybe you're afraid that your relationship will fall apart. Maybe you're afraid that your current clients won't want to work with you anymore. So everything that comes up, all of those fears, no matter how trivial it may seem, they deserve a space on that page because you want to be able to honor all those fears. When we give light to those fears, it doesn't make them worse. It actually makes us
even in that moment already feel better. So one of my favorite practices is to burn this. I like to do this at the full moon if your timing coincides, you write out all your fears and you offer it to the fire to be transmuted into energy. Because when you do you're releasing all of that fear to the universe, you're saying, right,
These are the fears, I don't want to hold them anymore. These aren't mine. Please take them and change them into energy that's actually going to support what I want to bring into my life. You may even find that you want to do this two or three different times. It might not just be something that you do once if those fears are really still gripping you or that doubt holds really strong. Again, it's very important here that you're not gaslighting yourself.
that you're not pretending that the fears aren't there because we all have fears. And as we start to step into something bigger or really imagine our dreams coming to life, that can feel scary if we're not used to that being our regular experience of daily life. So after you have decluttered some of those fears and some of those doubts that you start to really acknowledge them,

and allow them to move through you and out of you, you are going to call in guides that can support you on this process. So a guide might be your higher self, a guide might be your inner child, a guide might be a spiritual being or an archangel or something that represents a supportive, loving energy that can help you bring this to life.
The more experience that you have working with guides, the more you might be able to tailor the specific guide to what the goal is that you want to work through. So for example, if I'm working on a writing project, Archangel Gabriel is someone who is known to support journalism and writing. I might want to intentionally call Archangel Gabriel into my daily practices so that I can feel supported by his energy.
there might be other guides that speak to you better. So you can think about what the thing is that you want to manifest that you want to bring to life. You can do a Google search to find out which guides or ascended masters might support you in that process. Or perhaps there's a loved one that you already know who has been supportive in your life. Maybe they've passed over maybe they're still living this could be someone that you call in their energy to be supportive. Pets are also amazing for this.
possibly pieces of nature or places in nature that you've been before. So there's no one right or wrong way to call in guidance. But the point is that you want to intentionally call someone or some energy in that can support you lovingly as you're bringing this manifestation to life. One thing I love to do definitely working with some ascended masters or
higher guidance, but also I work a lot with crystals. So I might just go into a crystal store and hold my intention, the manifestation that I want to bring to life. And I might just look around the store and see what calls my attention, then I pick up the crystal, and then I hold it and I see does this feel like what I need. And if it feels positive to me, like you know what, this is the right thing.

I'll get that crystal and I'll keep it with me as I'm working through that particular manifestation. You might also want to look up different crystals and what they mean. You might intentionally go to the store and buy something that specifically has to do with what you want to bring to life. But in my experience, the best method is just to go in, see what calls your attention, and then just trust that that is the right thing that you need right now for what you want to call into your life.

Now, we've gotten clear on what you want and what you don't want. We've gotten clear on the person that you're going to become as a result of that manifestation coming to life. We've decluttered those fears and doubts. And as they keep coming up, we're going to keep decluttering them. This is the process that keeps on giving and doesn't end just one and done. We're calling in our guides. The next step is to really clearly visualize.
what that future looks like. This the best way to do this is going to be through meditation, you will actually go on a journey to meet the version of you who is already living this manifestation. So you're going to go in your mind's eye to see what life looks like, what life feels like to see how you look, how are you dressed? What does your hair look like?
What's the quality of your energy? Do you feel light and happy? Do you feel grounded? Do you feel serious, accomplished? And you're going to really connect with that person who you are becoming when that manifestation is real. And you might even take notice of your surroundings. Maybe you notice what country you're in or what kind of house you're in or what kind of workplace you're in.
So you're actually allowing yourself to truly visualize and embody what that feels like, because your mind actually doesn't know the difference between what is imagined and what is real, the universe can't tell the difference. So the more that you're able to see that with clarity, if I want to be, you know, standing on stages, which I do, and the
more that I can see myself standing on that stage, how I'm dressed for the performance, what my hair looks like, my makeup, how many people are in the audience, what kind of venue am I standing in, the clearer that I see that the more likely it is to come to be because I'm already creating that in my lived perception of the world.

So I'm starting to embody the woman that's on that stage that I can already see today. And I'm bringing her closer and closer to my current lived experience.
Once you have that visual, you're going to want to connect with that. My recommendation is daily until that manifestation comes to pass. If you don't have the time or the practice to be able to do it daily, weekly is going to be fine. The point is that you keep connecting in so that you can start to believe it more and more.
And as I said before, that when you're connecting in with that visualization, when you're connecting in with that version of you, that's already embodying what you want. If more fears and doubts start to rise, address them. Don't ignore them, write them down, look at what they are, allow them to be there. There's no shame here. There's no guilt. There's no judgment. You just allow it to be.
And you can go through that process again of writing it all out and burning it because you want to get really comfortable being able to see the fears as they come up, face them and allow them to move out, allow them to move on. You will also at this stage, create a list of affirmations that help you to remember in words, what it is that you're creating.
I am a speaker. I speak on stages to audiences of thousands of people. I am a homeowner. I am a loving partner. I'm in a loving partnership. Love is attracted to me. Money is attracted to me. My income is constantly increasing. You will find the affirmations that fit your situation best if you need support.

to find affirmations, I highly recommend to buy a book by Louise Hay. You might buy the book called You Can Heal Your Life, or you might buy the book called Mirror Work, where she lists a number of affirmations that can support you in your process. And you want to find however many feels good, I say to start with maybe five.
And these are affirmations that you will repeat to yourself every single day. I recommend in the morning because your mind is not fully awake yet. So we're still a little bit in that dream state between wakefulness and sleeping. And you're able to really tell your mind very clearly what it needs to know to be able to remember. Okay.
I am speaking on the stage, I am a homeowner, I am a whatever the things are. So we might think that it sounds ridiculous to start, but I promise you it works. I promise because over years and years of working with affirmations in different formats, I have been able to change my own beliefs about things that I never even thought were possible.
The thing with manifestation is that you can be clear by such and such a date, I want x, y, z to happen, but it doesn't always follow your timeline. So this might be a process that you decide in the next three weeks, I want this to happen. And by all means, believe it, let me believe it. And like bring that thing to life in that timeframe. But if it's moving a bit slower than what you expected, just keep up the work.
because it will come to you. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer. The timing might be a bit off. The universe might be trying to find the right people to bring into your life or situations that allow you to fully embody whatever that manifestation is. So you have to give it a bit of time and stick with this until it comes through. And that is when you'll know. You will understand that moment when this has come true into your life and you'll be able to say, all right,

this works. So this is the process, defining what you want, defining what you don't want, understanding who you will become, decluttering your fears and doubts, calling in your guides to support the process, visualizing that future so that you can embody that person that you're becoming and what that looks like.
using that visualization on a daily basis, and also creating affirmations that help you to remember who you're becoming and what you're stepping into on a daily basis.
