Speaker 1:

First and foremost, we want to be clear that what we are sharing with you are strategies and concepts that can be implemented by individuals who understand the logistics of how to approach such platforms as far as the literal, the mental and spiritual format needed to be successful with your aspirations what's up world?

Speaker 3:

you're tuning in to fbn and this is another episode of Finance Bros Network, and I am the one half of Finance Bros, anton Lefwich, and this is Michael DePoe.

Speaker 1:

The other half Money, mike. Hey, as usual, we are coming to you live with finance for everybody. That's right, for every people. We are honored to be here and to be able to serve diverse communities, as usual, hey, what are we talking about today?

Speaker 3:

Man. I tell you, Mike, this is such a topic that's so close to our hearts, especially, you know, and I'm really excited to dive into it because it's something that is I wouldn't even dare to call it the foundation a reputable foundation for the growth and the pursuit of happiness, money, whatever that might be for our wealthies out there. So today we are talking about environmental support to get paid.

Speaker 1:

Oh, man, brother, that's the whole podcast right there. Yeah, that's, that's the whole podcast right there.

Speaker 3:

yeah, because if your environment is not helping you get paid, you ain't gonna get paid brother, man, brother, it's I'm telling you, brother, and everything, everything it kind of stems off of it, right, how we wake up in the morning, how we start our day, the last thoughts in our head before we go to sleep, these are the things that are on our mind constantly. It's the people we have around us, the influence that they have on us and our ability to operate within that truth and just the mental stability for you to do what you have to do.

Speaker 1:

It's a grind for all of us, right, oh man? Day in and day out, we're getting up and grinding. And if we don't have that support sometime, if we don't have, if it's a partner being there encouraging us or when we get to work, that friend's like, yeah, let's get this done, let's make this happen, if your environment is not conducive to those things, it's gonna be hard to get paid yeah, it really is, man, it really is.

Speaker 3:

You think, every, every step we take, we're making a, we're taking a step forward, right, right, or you can call it making a deposit, or whatever you right right right. And then if for every step we, someone, is taking a step on us, can you imagine. Ain't that something, man brother? It's like hey, man, I love it when you by my side, right, but it kind of hurts when you're on my neck.

Speaker 2:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God.

Speaker 3:

So let's talk about this. And we went straight to Webster.

Speaker 1:

Oh, there you go what's the google?

Speaker 3:

we googled it. We googled it. Definitely, you know, we gotta give you guys a definition. So, uh, so the definition of environment you know, to all due respect. So the definition of environment straight from google, straight from webster, is the surroundings or condition in which a person, animal or plant lives or operates. Wow, how about that? That's deep, everything, down to the dirt, right, right, you know what?

Speaker 1:

I mean.

Speaker 3:

And look using it in the sentence. Actually this was on Google too survival in an often hostile environment, which I know a lot of us can relate to.

Speaker 1:

Yep, yep, and that's what we're dealing with. You know, day in and day out, we're trying to make money, we're trying to get paid, but there's always a scenario or situation or things that just come up. Life, that's like going against you, mm-hmm, Mm-hmm. Life that's like going against you. And it could be simple, as you're at a job, you're starting a job, and maybe you have family, you have kids and, god forbid, one of them gets sick.

Speaker 1:

God forbid things are happening and it stops your income. That affects you. That affects you. It affects you financially. Oh, 100%. How are?

Speaker 3:

you going to operate at 100 with that going on in the back, exactly.

Speaker 1:

You know Exactly.

Speaker 3:

And I think that's really a preface of what this episode is supposed to help our wealthians do Right Is operate at 100 as often as possible, Because in the world that we're in, anything we're doing, if we're passionate about it, we may have an idea or even a career where we feel like what we're doing is actually contributing to the world. So in the morning you kind of almost feel like God bless you if you feel like you're putting that cape on to go out and save the world or save people or save families or whatever you're doing. If you're a mechanic, you are contributing to someone's livelihood, the way they can get around. So the benefit of you being able to operate at 100 at all times it's not just benefiting you, it's not just benefiting you, it's not just benefiting us, it's benefiting everybody who comes within your proximity to come to you for help.

Speaker 3:

So I want to talk about and I'm going to just go straight from my phone here and make sure I don't miss no notes. I want to talk about some components of this environment.

Speaker 1:

That's necessary.

Speaker 3:

Yes that's necessary, that we need to be mindful of. Okay, All right for our wealthiness out there. So, number one thing I just got a short list we put here together. Let's say number one your partner.

Speaker 1:

Significant other.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they say that. There's a saying and it's been coming up a lot lately around me and just in conversations and even in my mind. They say that one of the most important decisions you will ever make in your life is who you marry.

Speaker 1:

There you go.

Speaker 3:

I mean, you're talking about somebody who probably has the first thought in your head in the morning and the last thought in your head before you go to sleep and let's just break that down for a minute. Anton, can you?

Speaker 1:

imagine you're trying to build a life and you're committing. I know it's, it's, it's a spiritual thing, so to say, with the marriage and everything Absolutely. And I know a lot of people, you know some. Some people take it as spiritual, some people take it as partnership. Whatever people you know, some.

Speaker 3:

Some people take it as spiritual, some people take it as partnership, whatever, yeah, whatever it is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, right at the end of the day, you in another body, you're half at this point because, remember, you ever hear sometime one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing in a company, yeah, this cannot be when you, when you get with somebody when you decide to spend your life with somebody Definitely.

Speaker 3:

Is there that C word in there, that communication, communication, communicationis.

Speaker 1:

But, and you know we're joking about it, but it's really real? And this is why we're talking about it on Finance Bros Network and this is why we want our wealthians to be aware of it. We constantly mention it in other episodes about your environment, your environment. So that's why we decided to actually make an episode about it. Oh, absolutely, because we really feel your financial stability, your financial goals, your financial aspiration, mm-hmm definitely involves your environment.

Speaker 3:

A hundred percent, a hundred percent. And you know, and at the end of the day, like it or not, this all equates to our ability to make money Yep Period, period, so some, some things that involve with, with a partner. You know, it's, it's, it's so cute. You know, maybe people have like a really good partner. They like to leave those little sticky notes on the fridge.

Speaker 2:

Right? Doesn't it feel good to maybe get one of those? Of course, of course.

Speaker 3:

You know, you put your little sticky note in your daughter's lunchbox and when it gets daddy loves you.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying Little things like that man.

Speaker 3:

It makes a difference.

Speaker 1:

It does, it does.

Speaker 3:

It. These are all deposits.

Speaker 1:

And you know what. It depends on your personality and who the person you decide to be a partner with Absolutely. That's a good point, mike, because some people might say, oh, I can never be with that person. Well, maybe that person's not right for you in this partner, especially for you to maintain or grow your financial wealth and so on and so forth, because some let's just say let's call men and women.

Speaker 1:

We know there's all different type of partners out there, but let's say men and women and let's say the woman just likes to support the man in every aspect, as opposed to letting him lead when it comes to making decisions. And sometimes it might be vice versa the man might want to let the woman leave because, based on our education and who she is, and that's the way he wants to be with that partner, and you have to make that decision. But in some relationships it could be no, that big C word, like you said, communication. Yeah, it can be no, that big C word, like you said, communication. We both have to say hey, if you want to buy a Ferrari, you need to call me first.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we need to have a conversation, we need to have a conversation?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but baby.

Speaker 2:

I saved up that money.

Speaker 1:

Nah, you ain't taking $200,000 that we saved up just because you feel like you're going through a midlife crisis.

Speaker 3:

I'm buying this car. That ain't what I thought we were saving up for Exactly.

Speaker 1:

So that's where that type of partnership is a constant communication on everything how we're going to spend money, how we're going to go on vacation. But the thing is, there's an understanding you are managing your environment to ensure that you're going to get paid and that's where it's important, yeah, and everybody wins in that case.

Speaker 3:

By the way, right, everybody wins. All day In your proximity, everybody wins, so it's to their benefit as much as it is ours, right, all right. And now we got family, of course. Your mom, dad, cousins, niece, nephew, uncles, aunts, you know. My family just happens to be pretty far away. Most of my family lives down south in. Louisiana. So they're not really, you know, in my proximity, right, but my mom, somebody who's close to me, she's in my proximity.

Speaker 1:

But you know what, in that environment, uh, do they respect what you do? Is your niece calling you up? Hey, uncle, can you, can you, can you give me a thousand dollars for this? Like, seriously, you know what I do or you know what I'm doing? Okay, you know, can your mom and dad? Or if, if you have, uh, if you're young enough or old enough, I should say, you see your mom and dad working hard. It's like, oh, where's my Tesla, where's your? What? You better be happy. You turning 17, 18, you're able to drive. You get yourself a nice little responsible five-year-old Corolla.

Speaker 3:

That your parents bought for you.

Speaker 1:

That is helping the people in your environment. That also helps yourself too. Yeah, yeah. So that's why we have all these family members that could be a part of your life. And are they talking you up, hey, how's your job? Are they telling you, oh, you should be quitting that job.

Speaker 2:

That job is why not?

Speaker 1:

Let's talk about the positive things, about the job, or if you're willing to change a career or start a business. Are you going to be supportive, and not only financially, because any one of those family members could help you financially. Oh sure, those would be sort of the first people if they believe in you. If they believe in you, yes, that would help you financially if you started a business, right right. But if they're gonna give you negativity, do you want them people in your environment, even if they are quote unquote family?

Speaker 3:

yeah, hey look, sometimes people want the extras, right, so so it might be necessary to do a little extra, right. Right, you know what I mean. If we want the extras, we might have to do a little extra, right, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

So that's relevant, mike, that's relevant.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm. Yeah, and we also obviously got your friends.

Speaker 1:

Got your friends but they got to have the same mindset that's true there as friends for certain things.

Speaker 3:

You ever seen lions and sheep hunting at the same time together? Nope, I haven't either.

Speaker 2:

I never seen a pack of lions hunting with a pack of sheep.

Speaker 1:

Don't make sense.

Speaker 3:

Don't make sense. We not looking for the same thing?

Speaker 1:

So you definitely you better have a lion hunting with you with a line if you're a lion, yeah, because there ain't no sheep that's gonna be standing next to you as a friend they're gonna be like I don't think you should be eating that over there. Why? That's my cousin?

Speaker 3:

exactly that makes sense, in respect, lions don't hunt with eagles either. Exactly, eagles and lions are looking for different things right, so I mean we just, we just gotta know our surroundings, know what it is we want, and then make sure that our environment includes the things that are conducive to what it is we're looking for, what we're trying to do it makes sense it adds to it doesn't take away all right right, all right so, All right so. And then there is of course there's business partners, the business partner.

Speaker 3:

You're in business now You're in, and this is the pre-frame, has already happened at this point and hopefully we've done the due diligence to figure out what it is we're about, what it is we're trying to pursue, and then we have done the work to network or reach out and and have these conversations and communicate that vision to the people. And then we like, like we did, Mike, we talked for how bro?

Speaker 2:

how many?

Speaker 3:

months months, years, years before we even I mean, it was, it was yeah absolutely it was business, and then it became a friendship, and then it was a deeper friendship, and then it became a friendship, and then it was a deeper friendship, and then it just became obvious it was and I want to stress this organically formed relationship. Brother, it wasn't forced, it wasn't you pitching me, me pitching you, and we want to say this to our wealthies you know, the most best relationships are just formed organically.

Speaker 1:

It's like you're not even trying All day.

Speaker 3:

And I'm sure that we already know this. Right right it just feels so good when something happens organically.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 3:

It was just like oh man, it just happened.

Speaker 1:

Right Like man. How did you do that?

Speaker 3:

It just happened.

Speaker 1:

Right, you know what I mean. But Even with all that, anton, I want to emphasize in a business partnership, you definitely need to have a contract.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, A hundred percent.

Speaker 1:

Don't? We have a contract.

Speaker 3:

We do have a contract.

Speaker 1:

We absolutely do have a contract, we have a contract.

Speaker 3:

And we spent some days going over the contract and it's in our vault right contract and it's in our vault, even had even went as far as having a, a third person who, right, is outside looking in, right, so we're not driven by emotions, exactly saying things like did you guys ever think about this, right?

Speaker 1:

yeah, there you go, right so I love it so definitely in that environment. In a business environment, it's always on paper, because when you're dealing with business and you know what I even want to say if you throw in a family member in there, you know the only person I might give a pass and I still, as a business person, if your partner is part of this business, you should have a contract yeah, because there should be some stipulations, and we spoke about getting llcs and getting corporation.

Speaker 1:

Guess what? In all those type of structures, there's room for a person in the llc is called a managing member. If you make the person a managing member, even if it is your wife or, or your girlfriend or your or your significant other, whatever, uh, you know you're calling that person. There is a title for that person in a business structure. I love it. Yeah, so that way, in the environment, everybody knows their responsibility and what they are atoned for. For God forbid, because that's the only way you're going to get paid by each and everyone understanding what are their responsibilities and what they need to do absolutely, and the right people will have no problem with it all day.

Speaker 3:

No problem, they have the best intentions. Yep, whatever needs to get done, let's do it. Let's make it official, right, so right. And of course, a mentor. You know, mentor I? I just so happen to be going for my walk the other day. Yeah, and we'll kind of, we we're gonna get into the to self-deposits and stuff like that. I went to a World Walk. I listened to an audio book. It was a nine-figure mindset and the author was saying that a friend is someone who knows everything about you and still likes you. A mentor is someone who knows everything about you and still likes your chances of becoming something more.

Speaker 1:

There you go, wow, yeah, that's great.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I'll leave it right there, you know what. I mean, and mentors, what we have to have, that and it goes back to the whole saying that we have. You know, we should always be in a position where we're able to pull someone up.

Speaker 2:

Right.

Speaker 3:

And then in a position where someone is able to pull us up. So not only are we, not only are we repeating the knowledge that we're getting, and it re-solidifies it with us, because when you, when you, when you hear this one thing, but when you actually say it back, it's different, and when you're teaching it to somebody who hasn't gotten it yet, it even has more of an effect. And then we're being coachable to then grow and learn more.

Speaker 3:

You know, pulled up to the next level because there's always someone at the level we just came from. And there's always so much love we're trying to get to and again.

Speaker 1:

That's creating that environment where you're gonna having a mentor. This is a person who's already been through what you've been through yeah, absolutely so. If he's been through or she's been through what you've been through, obviously, hopefully that mentor got paid and is helping you get paid. You, you get paid.

Speaker 3:

Yeah yeah, exactly perfect sense to me, right, perfect sense, brother. Hey, man, I, we could, we and we could go really really deep into this yeah, I mean we and it's. It's this.

Speaker 3:

I knew it's gonna love this topic man and I know we try to keep it to the, to the, to the work, drive to work, right man. This is passionate stuff right here, man. But we got some time, man, I gotta give it to him. Yeah, I give it. We got to give it to them. We got to give it to them. Let's give it to them, man.

Speaker 1:

Well, I wanted to really go over some of the and we touch based on it, on the environment and what we need to do to support, to get paid, and you mentioned all these different, I would say legs or arms or parts of the environment that you need to help. You need to have to help, you get paid, but you know what, what else additional that you can provide to this environment for for all of us to feel this comfort level, this confident that this is what this is. The environment I've communicated to and understand, so you know some of the things I was thinking about is speaking or showing your strategy. Say, hey, this is what I want to do, this is where I want to be. Yes, this is how I want to get there. Now, you've communicated that.

Speaker 3:

Man, I love it brother.

Speaker 1:

And there's no dispute. So, god forbid, something goes wrong or something happens or there was some. Well, remember our conversation, remember how I laid this out. This is what I want, and sometimes some people. We're not perfect. We have to be put back on that track. So make sure you're speaking or showing the strategy I love it On what you're doing to not only growing yourself, because you are working on being that wealthy and being that best wealthy.

Speaker 3:

Man, I love that brother and make it relevant to your family situation, like if we're talking to the kids saying Daddy's going to work some extra hours this week You're not going to see Daddy, as much.

Speaker 1:

But we're going to Disneyland in two months and they'll be okay with it.

Speaker 3:

They'll be like Daddy, why you home early? We're going to Disneyland. I thought you was working till 10.

Speaker 1:

These kids these days. That's what they're going to say. That's the first thing pop out of their head.

Speaker 2:

Why you home, dan, you know.

Speaker 1:

You said you was working overtime, danny, right, you know. And all this having a game plan, you know, forecasting the future with them and let them understand financially what this means you know what it means for them, for them and if it's a business partner having a business plan, you know, have the business them. And if it's a business partner having a business plan, you know, have the business, even if it's you two. Oh, we gonna do this. No, let's put it down on paper. Do we have a business plan, anton?

Speaker 3:

absolutely. I believe it was around 35 pages. There you go. We had to, we had to chop it down. It was several.

Speaker 1:

We had several different strategies, several different business plans that people have helped us out, and we're just saying this that we've done our due diligence and this is what requires and this is we're hoping that's what Finance Bros Network is doing to help, you know, get to people, because we're doing the stuff that we're telling you, man, say that again. We're doing the stuff that we're telling you, man, say that again, we're doing the stuff that we're telling you.

Speaker 1:

Thank you so having that business and you know what do you do to have those resources. You know to help you get paid. You know what if you don't have them? What if you have? We spoke about family. We spoke about doing. What if you don't have them? What if you have to be self-motivated? Okay, you know you, sometime, you, you have to say, okay, what do I do to be self-motivated? Be creative, you know, organize yourself, use a calendar. You might be on your own, single by yourself. You may not have found the right mentor yet, you may not have found that coworker who's going to support you yet, but you have to do it on your own. You know we're trying to give you every aspect here, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. And I think the biggest thing that a lot of people don't talk about, anton, is your health, oh man, brother, your health, oh man brother your health, especially if you're by.

Speaker 1:

Even if you have people in your environment that are supporting you, you still have to be conscious of your health. What's?

Speaker 3:

a good. What's a good? What's? What's the use of making money if you ain't going to be healthy to spend it? There you go?

Speaker 1:

Just saying you know doing healthy eating healthy, yeah. Uh, you know doing healthy eating healthy, yeah, exercising, doing yoga. Yay, Listen at one time I did hot yoga.

Speaker 2:

Can you believe that Holy jumping Jehovah fast? I'm sure you had a dream. Oh, my goodness, I did hot yoga.

Speaker 1:

But you know what, at the end of the day it really felt good. It's not like I'm going to jump and do it again, but I'm telling you I did it.

Speaker 3:

Hey, I see I see a lot of men in court. You know, incorporating that kind of stuff right, because it's about peace, right, where can I find peace? Right, at the end of the day? Right, for us, you know us, we, us man, me, people in general, you know we all do a lot, but you know we, I know me, I could speak from the, from the, you know, from the perspective of a man. Right, we deal with so much, yeah, and I know that throughout the day, when things get real loud, the first thing that goes into my head when I can get a hold of one of my thoughts is where can I find some peace?

Speaker 1:

And I know what you do, anton, on a constant basis. Yes For you to help your environment be better, and one of the things I know you do is walk.

Speaker 1:

I do constantly you say, mike, I'm going to walk, or I got to do my walk today. And again that's you realizing in your environment. For you to be successful, you need to step away. You need to get that activity in. You got to brother. You have to do it, because if you're not doing it, you're taking something away from you and then you're now contaminating your environment.

Speaker 3:

Exact, I'm doing the exact opposite. I have to remove myself, gather my thoughts, listen to my thoughts, because as soon as I get back to my environment, I know I have people there counting on me and looking to me for answers, which you can definitely relate, mike. I know you are a leader yourself.

Speaker 1:

Hey, I try, I try brother.

Speaker 3:

I mean, you're an influential member of your society and network. I know that much and you know God. We were blessed to be in our position Definitely, and in that position people are looking to us for answers. So we have to. We have to clear our mind and make sure those thoughts are all day, yeah, all day.

Speaker 1:

Well, let's get, let's get to the breakdown. Yeah the literal. Take a good look at your environment and make a decision. Are you going to work with it or are you going to change it? Woo, if that's not literal, I don't know what is?

Speaker 3:

Why do I feel like it hit me like the first time that I heard it?

Speaker 1:

Are you going to change it? You got to make that decision and that's a tangible thing you would have to do.

Speaker 3:

That's a good question to ask yourself Am I going to work with this or am I going to change this? I'm not going to get loud because I don't want to be like I like it. All right, let's hit them with the mental. Let's hit them with the mental. Go ahead, mike, make sure whoever's in your environment, are all heading in the same direction mentally to achieve your goal, man bro, I think I just asked you a little while ago have you ever seen a lion hunting with a sheep?

Speaker 1:

There you go, or even an eagle there you go, it don't matter If you're mentally not in the same direction. Guess what man? You're not going nowhere. I love it. I love it. You want to hit? Not in the same direction guess what?

Speaker 3:

You're not going nowhere. I love it. I love it. You want to hit them with the spiritual, Of course, Always brother. So okay, the spiritual on this one is have faith in the people you have chosen in your environment. If you believe in them, they will believe in you. And there's so much, brother, go ahead, go ahead. You were going. You were gonna say I don't want to do that.

Speaker 1:

That's that.

Speaker 3:

Took the breath away yeah, I'm telling you, and there's so much in that, such a little that short sentence, because it's the word chosen in that is in there.

Speaker 3:

Right in belief is in there there you go okay, this is the people chose and, with the elements and education that we've just talked about, the funnel, the filter is going to be accurate enough to make sure that when these people are in our close proximity to have an influential you know, an influential opinion or conversation with us that we can believe in the things that they are trying to communicate to us. And it takes that.

Speaker 1:

And again, I know it's a spiritual thing.

Speaker 3:

Man, it's so spiritual.

Speaker 1:

But you have to have that faith. Got it, brother? You have to because if you're picking that person, it's not going to be perfect all the time and maybe you might have to drop this person Because, again, remember, we're talking about the time and maybe you might have to drop this person.

Speaker 1:

Cause again, remember, we're talking about the spiritual, you're just, but you got to believe in that person and let that person see that you're believing in them, that you have faith in them, and then they'll reciprocate that, because you have chosen this person to be within your environment.

Speaker 3:
