squadcaster-97j1_1_11-23-2025_150352Well, hello hot staff and welcome to part two of our hot little series, I will say, can you tell I had not decided what I was gonna call this, but I was like, I'm not gonna let that stop me. That is not a block. I'm just gonna record it anyway and we can fix that later. Oh, hold on. We forgot to get a cover shot. Quick little photo shoot. Okay, cool. We got that. Alright, so don't skip ahead. If you have not listened to part one, go listen to part one because at the end I asked you to do a couple tasks and think about a couple things that we're going to get you in a frame of mind to. Really like explore what we are talking about today, which is really around standards and it's about identity. Now, if you are familiar with my work, this is something that we always come back to. you know, I will always talk about standards. Standards are not restrictions, but they are what you are willing to accept. And anytime we want a better life, we want a different life. We look at something and we're like, I wanna make a change. We first identify the standard and then we raise it. And whether you like it or not. You have particular standards in all parts of your business and all parts of your life that have given you the life and the business that you have today. So if someone were to look at your standards and they were like, okay, cool, and your identity, they'll look to look at those two things. What is the identity that this person has? Whatever standards that they have, if they were to follow that they would have a life that would be similar to you. An easy way to think about this is you can look at the standards that someone has that is an elite level athlete, and you can look at the identity that they have. If you were to follow that and if you were to adopt the standards in the identity, you know, sure. There are things in there like. Genetics. There are, there are multiple things that are outside of our control, but for the most part, you aren't gonna, you are gonna be bloody fit. Like whatever you are training, you are gonna show up in a very different way because of the identity that they have that than you would have and the standards that you would then have, like how you are kind of going through and living your life now that you are like, I am going to train like an Olympic athlete would. So this is important to uncover first. Anytime we say that we want to be different, if we are like next year is gonna be my year, this is the year of like million dollar Peter or million dollar you, whatever it is that you are doing, you think about it. When we were talking last episode about the gap. What will actually bridge that gap and take you from currently your current state and everything that is happening to where you desire to be is going to be a shift within your identity and your standards, because you can think about it. It's like not even really anything in your business has to change. You can have the same client. You can have the same offers, but you know, you think about it, if you have the identity of someone that absolutely fucking loves sales, if sales becomes your favorite thing in the world, that is gonna benefit your business. So a lot of what we don't particularly love in business is just naturally not even gonna be a problem anymore because sometimes we're looking at our business being like, oh my God. I wish that I could be better at Instagram, but it's not Instagram that is the problem. The problem is the identity that you have where you're like, I fucking hate being in front of the camera. The camera doesn't love me. You need to have an identity of someone that is like not camera shy, that you are like, anytime a camera is on me is my moment the amount of goodness that leaves my mouth. I need a TV show. I need a camera crew following me around because you can see here how then Instagram really isn't the problem. It's your identity around that. That is the problem, and this is why we fix this and how your business benefits. now that we've declared our goal and everything that we are working towards in business, all right? And if you're like, I still don't know, just make a decision. Okay? Maybe that is, you know, make a decision, pull something out, put it on paper, declare it. I want you to think about like when you are at that level where you have achieved the things that you want. Two things. One, who would you be associating with? Who would you be able to hold a seat at the table with? You know, like right now I'm at this beautiful boardroom. There's like, what, 22 chairs around it. When I'm million dollar Peter, who could be here? Who would, who would I be talking to that and then. The next thing is I want you to look at whose life do you love, or who do you wish that you could be more like? Because you think about it, if you really loved your life, if you were like, I am so content and I'm so happy here, and no one has it better than me, you would never look at anyone being like, oh my God, I love her wardrobe. Because you would look at your own wardrobe and you'd be like, oh my God, I love that. Like you would be your own dream girl. So how can we get you to a point where you are your own dream girl, your own business dream girl? So anyone that you look up to, I want you to ask yourself, what is it that they have that I want? What am I actually attracted to? How are they actually an expander for me? What are they revealing to me that I actually want? The task that I gave you was to go and actually look at where you feel inspired, look at what you share and what they have in common. And what I noticed when I did this last night, so I was going through my saved images on Pinterest, I noticed that. Everyone that I saved, they were really well dressed. They had an amazing fucking wardrobe. And it made me realize how much I am still a fashion girly, and then what was really funny, right? I went to my wardrobe and I'm like, you've got some good pieces, but you don't really have a lot in here. It got me thinking sometimes about how when I wake up and I'm in a, like I'm in a good mood and then somehow I'm in a bad mood. I'm like, why? What, where is the shift happening with me in the morning? Like, what is happening? For me to be like, Ugh, I don't really feel like it. Ugh, I'm really feeling energized. Trust me, this happens to me all the fucking time we push through. That's what entrepreneurship is. But it made me realize that I am so attracted to people's clothes and what they wear. And it got me thinking how would I show up to my business if I opened my wardrobe? And I was like, oh my God, I had so many choices. I have so much to pick from. Everything looks good on my body. It's super cool. I would be so excited. I would literally wanna walk the streets getting compliments. I would wanna be so visible because I'm like, my outfit is the coolest. Look how cool I am. And you can see here sometimes like it's back to that whole thing where it's like what we think is the problem isn't actually the problem. And what was interesting is it's like, okay, cool. Do I need to work on energy management or sleep better? Or is my problem that I'm kind of fucking bored with my wardrobe? I need to just add a few new key pieces in. Like I, I rarely shop. Maybe I need to shop. Because I also know for a fact, you know, I have declared that I wanna do more content. And it's like, would I be more likely to do the content if I knew that I was in a really good fucking outfit? A hundred percent I would make that work. Of course, I'm gonna find a reason why I can't make that work if I'm like, oh, I don't really feel that good. And you can see here how sometimes solving that identity piece, upgrading your identity, upgrading your standards to match, can naturally solve a lot of problems in business. It's like you can think now about if you wanna get really fit. If you have the identity of someone that exercises every day and you make it work, you'll naturally be fit. A lot of your problems will be solved because you look at the person and we make that like little software upgrade Because here is something for you to think about. It is gonna be rare that you can outperform your self-image. It is gonna be rare that you are gonna be million dollar you or whatever it is that you write down on that paper. If your self-image is someone who is bad at sales, who you don't really know if you can make it work, who you don't really have a unique take. Like if you are telling yourself and your self image is something that is really like, it's almost like. Dish water filled with food scraps. Do we really think that we are gonna get our goal? No. So what we get to do here is we get to design who we want to be. And what is so cool about this is this is something that cannot be taken away from you. Like a lot of people's identity is based on things that they actually can't control. So what I mean by this is, you know, they will feel like that they're in a good mood and they're winning if someone else gives them money. But the problem is with that is you can see here if, if how you show up and how you like run your business and how you feel about your business is based on other people, then that's something that we can't control. So the cool thing is when you actually look at your identity, and we raise that to be a match for, you know, the goal that we are working towards, you can have the worst day that remains like unchanged. So what we get to remember as well is like anytime we feel jealous, anytime we are drawn to something, if we watch a movie and we are so captivated by like what we see, or if we love someone's account, it's revealing to us things that are available to us and we get to kind of identity shop, we get to be like, what do I like? How can I make this mine? What do I like? How can I make this mine? So I've got some things for you to think about. I want you to think about like, how would you describe your identity and your standards right now? So you wanna make sure if you go to excuses and you say why something is the way that it is, that is probably who you are who you are on a bad day. Who you are on a day when you're, you're tired, or you're not really in the mood, is probably who you are. And I say this because you know, I always do my hair. I put my face on every day. I always get dressed. Makeup is not special. Occasions. Makeup for me is my identity. Having my nails is not a special occasion. Having my nails is an identity, but where there is a disconnect is I am still not the best at exercising continually. I put that off. So I can come up with excuses and say, I've had a lot on my plate. I haven't been feeling like it. I've hurt my knee. I've, I've got like a really sore elbow and a really fucked up knee from my fall. I can say that, but I am just giving excuses based on the identity that I have. Because at the end of the day, if my identity was someone that moved every single day, I would find a way to move every single day, because that is my identity. So I've got a question for you. Who do you need to become to have the business that you desire to have? What does that look like? When you think about, you know, million dollar you, what are they wearing? How do they make decisions? How do they move through life? How do people talk about them if they're not in the room? How are they being described? Like, what is their brand? What is their identity? I want you to ask yourself, what beliefs would they have? What would they believe? How would they talk about things? How would they talk about themselves? How would they talk about their business? How would they, if they had a really bad day or a really bad week, what would they say? Would they like just get over it? Would they wanna share it? Would they wanna finger paint in it? Or would they be like, okay, cool. I was sick this week. Who cares? My business works for me. And would they just get on with it? Like how do they move through life? What does their mourning look like? How do they face challenges? And you can ask, what standards would this person have? And then ask yourself, where is that gap? What, what is that gap from who you are today and who that person is? What is that gap? And then how can we start to pull elements out of that into our present day? Now, what I want you to do is I want you to pick a part of your life or like a moment of your day that you can start with this, because it's gonna be hard if I'm like, cool. Click my fingers, become a different person right now. Do everything as your future self. It's gonna feel a bit exhausting. So what I want you to do is instead of act, we we're focusing on integrating. So maybe you are gonna pick a part of your life or a part of your business or a part of your day. Maybe you are like, cool. You know, from now for the next week or two, I am gonna focus on like my morning routine or what would it look like as like I, I go to bed, or when I grocery shop, or how I pitch, whatever it is. And I want you to be aware as you do things and as you kind of catch yourself doing the every day. Ask yourself, what would my future self do in this situation? You know, I do this a lot when I will say, go grocery shopping. And if I'm feeling really like, oh my God, I don't know what to eat. I'm really overwhelmed. I don't know what to do. And I ask myself, cool, million dollar pita, what's she doing? And it's like, well, million dollar P would buy this steak or she would buy this. And it's so funny that sometimes have we ever, Ooh I've had a little light bulb moment? Have we ever sometimes thought that the reason that we have indecision and that we don't know what to do in the moment is because we are in this gap. We know that we have outgrown that past identity. We know that that's not us anymore, and we are moving towards the future version of us that we know that we can be. So we're kind of sometimes overwhelmed or we don't really know because we're kind of in this middle period of this identity shift. So it's like when you go to the supermarket and you're like, I don't know what to have for dinner. Of course you don't because you don't really know who you are in the moment because you don't wanna be who you currently are, but you wanna be who you future you is. And because of that, it's really clouding our judgment and decision making on everything in our life because you can think about Million Dollar You and it's so funny that like you get excited, what would Million Dollar Me eat all of a sudden wandering around the grocery store, not knowing what to fucking cook for dinner. It feels like a different, like it brings like a different energy in, you know, when you get dressed in the morning. You are gonna look at your wardrobe and you're gonna be like, oh, something is missing. I don't know exactly what's missing. I would have this, I would wear stuff that I would have to iron and I would not iron that I would outsource that, you know, you know immediately. So what I want you to look at here is I want you to look at your identity and look at your standards and start to raise them and start to upgrade them. Now what if you have done the hot business audit? If you haven't a link up below, this may reveal to you and where you are being like let down in part, so where you scored low, it's like, let's pretend that you scored low in sales. Why is that? Why do you think that you scored low in sales? Is it because you have the identity of someone that doesn't like sales? Is it that you have the identity of someone that just doesn't really have belief in what they're doing? You don't have belief in the price. Like you can then look at this under like where your identity matches up and then ask yourself, okay, cool. If I know that sales is letting me down, I've gotta prioritize this. What within my identity can shift? How can I raise the standard on whatever it is? So if my standard is I kind of sell sporadically, how can I then make the standard? Okay, cool. I am going to sell every day no matter what. If I am visible in my business and I am working, I am gonna put out a sales call to action, and my identity is someone that pitches with strong conviction that loves their business and themselves enough. That they know that money needs to keep coming in, so I am gonna show up and I am going to sell. You can see here then sales probably you're gonna have less friction. You're gonna have less. I'm so bad at this because we've gone straight to the source and we fixed that. what your homework is. I want you to start and define some new standards, like if we were to write a rule book on how your future self would live and how she would move through life. Get really curious on like what she would be doing that is different. How would she show up differently in her business? How would she, like, you know, what would she focus her, her energy on? What would she complain about this shit or would she get over it? And we do this as well under the lens of the person that we are gonna be. I'm here at the moment with you as well. When I think about Million Dollar Peter and I shared with you at the end of the last episode where I'm like, I'm bringing out something that is the next level version of Business Bang with this particular kind of entrepreneur. That I wanna work with within that, that is, this offer is perfect for them. And it's so funny that when I had resistance to this, I got to then get clear, do I have resistance on this? Because I feel that there is a mismatch between me now and the person delivering that. And I had this, yes, came in that was instantaneous and I was like, awesome. Cool, let's fix it. And again, how cool is it that I get to notice this now instead of going through life feeling like that this is an idea of it's just not available to me. And I was like, cool. Where is the disconnect? What? What do you need to upgrade? Who is the identity of someone that has this? And it was really interesting. It's like, okay, cool. They would have more bold action. They would wanna collaborate with people at this particular level. They would have things within their business sorted. Like I would be the kind of person where it's like. I've already got the great wardrobe, I am already fit, I have lost the weight. And I'm not saying that there is a connection between, you know, losing weight and business success, but when I look at me personally, me personally, and my identity, I have a clear picture of this person. And this is where I now get to like, make the changes today so that I feel like that my identity is a match for this business owner that I want. So you can go through this week, you can go through today and ask yourself. Who do I need to be to get this goal? Where do I need to have these identity shifts? Where do I need to raise my standards? What does this look like and how can I start making these shifts? You also have to make a commitment that you are not gonna wanna finger paint in your own bullshit. You can't bring all of these excuses because the problem is life is always gonna happen. You have to just make a decision and you have to do it, and you have to follow through because hot stuff, this is your one life. This is your one sexy life. It's happening right now, right now. And I want you to remember, the sooner that you work on this, the more dedicated that you are and devoted that you are and disciplined you are working on this. How cool is it? That in three months time, if you are like, I'm gonna overhaul all my shit in three months, how cool does it feel like you are already gonna have that identity of that particular person that is gonna do that thing? That when you think about that goal, all of a sudden it's not, oh my gosh, how am I gonna do this? Or, I feel like this could happen. It's, it's happening. It is happening right now. I'm already more than halfway there because I've done the important task of upgrading myself and my identity and my beliefs and my standards, so. This is happening. It is in my reality. It is only a matter of time before I arrive at the result that I want. I arrive at that goal that I set and I'm like, bam, bitch, I fucking did it. Hot stuff. I love this. I love you. Your You've got your little homework questions, but to repeat them again, who do you need to become to achieve the business you desire to have? what beliefs would this future version of you hold? How would this version of you make decisions? What standards would this person set? Get really clear? And then we are going to look at this at a part of our day and a part of our business. So maybe it's you doing it in the morning and just be curious as well as you go through your day. So maybe you are now gonna have the morning routine of million dollar you. Cool. Go do that. And then be curious as you go through the day, how would Million Dollar me do this? How would Million Dollar me walk through this room right now? How would Million Dollar Me sit in this chair? How would Million Dollar me hold this piece of paper? Like, you can really go to town with this, and I love to do stuff like this because you'll really quickly realize that. We just do so much shit. So unconsciously we just do things and we don't even think about it. And when we do things and we don't think about it, it's, it just continually affirms the life that we have. You think about it, you want a different life, you gotta move through life differently. We gotta do some different things. Sure, there's gonna be some things we take, there's gonna be some different things that we do. Hot stuff. I love this. I love you. I love you more than I think I'm gonna have maybe a little bit of a break. I sat down today and I was like, let's scaffold out this. This little workshop series and then I'm gonna sit and record them and I am being fueled right now. Someone's gonna die, um, on four espressos and a chocolate croissant and it's three 30 in the afternoon. But guess what Million Dollar Me would do? She wouldn't be doing this. She'll be back doing hotel life. Hotel life. So I love that. So I think I'm gonna go and have a little snacky snack, something to eat. What do I want? I don't know. That is the million dollar question. I love you more than a good film. I love that actress, Nicole Kidman. And I watched Eyes Wide Shut. I'd never seen it before. I'd seen like the first 20 minutes, and then I had seen parts that shown up on, showed up on TikTok, but I'd never actually watched it. And, uh, I Gen, I genuinely enjoyed it. I thought it was a good, I thought it was a good movie. Interesting movie. So love you more than that. I love you more than like how cool it is that we have so many things in this world that we are yet to discover, watch, binge, read, whatever it is. Like how cool is it that you can feel bored, but there is, there is a book out there that's gonna change your life or a movie that you are like, oh my God, I'm so obsessed with this. Or a song like, how. Fun is that to think about. So what I've started doing on TikTok as like a Type a Virgo is when, now when I save things, I put them into categories and I've got like movies, like a movies category. So what I'm actually gonna do is I'm gonna go through and I'm gonna write out things. So it's like, cool, let's pick three movies. Cool, watch them. Let's like pick three recipes or whatever I've saved. When I look at my categories, it's like, cool, let's pick like three things from each and let's like get that. Organize, let's get that done. So I love some Virgo efficiency like that. What else do I love you more than? I love you more than, um, the sun's coming out. Oh my God. We've got blue sky. I love this. It was a weird day today. It was a bit humid and a bit hot and a bit sticky and a bit wet, and I'm like, I don't like this. This is not good hair weather. My hair is just gonna like frizz the fuck up and I'm looking outside. We've got some sunlight that is coming in. A nice little hint of blue sky. Love you more than that. Love the love the weather. How good is like a good fucking day? Love you more than that. Okay. I love you more than the fact that my hair is getting really long again. It's like finally, it's like growing. It's thickening up. It looks good. I love you more than that. I love you more than believe it or not. I've got like the biggest, it's like so big. It's almost touching my mic. Like if you felt like a scratchy noise. It's my ascension pimple on my chin. It's so big. So I love you more than the fact. That I'm like, cool. Ascension, pimple. We're about to have a level up again. My mild spiritual psychosis is always fun. Love you more than that. What else? I feel like I haven't been really doing a lot. I've kind of been in this a vortex this week of. I don't even know. It's been so funny. Did you ever have weeks like that where you're like, I feel like I've been busy and I've done so much, but if you would've asked me to write 20 things that I did this week, I'd be like, I literally can't even give you 0.5. But I know that I have had fun. I've had like a good week. It's been good. It's been hot, it's been sexy, so I love you more than that, I love you more than the feeling of when someone asks you about your friends that you struggle to answer because you have so many fucking friends and great people in your life. I had this conversation with someone the other day where we were talking about like our friend group, and I was like, fuck, I didn't even know where to begin because I have so many good friends. I also love you more than the fact that when I went to Kohl's the other day, they put Christmas cards on the end of the aisle. Do you remember that? There was like once a point in time when like you'd sit down and you'd watch your parents and they'd be like writing everyone Christmas cards and they would turn up in the mail and you would just have them around the house. There'd be Christmas cards everywhere. And people haven't been doing that, but I feel like that we're about to maybe do that again. Like I love that. I'm like, let's bring some of that back., What I don't love though is I was like, why would I do a Christmas card when I can create my own Christmas card? And then I'm like, cool. A project that I will never do. I don't love that. I'm like, do we create a Christmas card? Do we do that? I don't know. I don't know. Hot stuff. I don't know. All I know is I think I'm gonna send Christmas cards. I feel like I was like, do I wanna do this? I'm like, yes, yes, yes, yes. Alright, I'm gonna end this here. I am fucking starving. I just wanna shove something in my mouth and gobble it up. So I'm gonna go and do that. I'm not gonna have any more coffee. I'm already wired enough and I'm gonna have a little snack. And guess what? Hot stuff. I'm gonna see you on part three. So I'll see you on the next episode. Hot stuff.
