I used to always convince myself that I never had enough time to exercise unless I had an hour, and I had space either side of that. So it wasn't even an hour, it was making sure that I had enough time to kind of get dressed, get into the flow of the things, do my hour workout, have a cool down, make a snack. So it was this really perfect, I would say 90 minute to two hour chunk. And if I didn't have that. I would convince myself that I couldn't do it. I wasn't gonna do it properly. That there was no point. There was no point unless I had perfect circumstance working in my favor. And I know you are probably hearing that right now, thinking, well, that's madness. Because even if you just go and do something for 10 minutes, it's gonna be better off doing that than actually doing nothing at all. And what I'm gonna say to you is. If you think that, how many times do you do the opposite in your business? How many times do you convince yourself that you need to wait for a new day, a new month, a new week that you said that you were going to make $30,000 this month, and you've got four days left, you're halfway there and you. Almost give up and maybe you don't give up. Maybe you just start to feel yourself slowing down instead of leaning in and being like, we have three days. I can still make this work. You feel like that you're kind of keeping the lights on and doing the bare minimum. Instead of actually really leaning in and showing yourself that you really can make this work. Now, what was really interesting is when I did network marketing, I always thought that I was a really hard worker and in bold action, and I don't doubt that I was, but what network marketing taught me is how you could do a whole month's work normally in three days or in two days. And it got me to look at times so differently. So how network marketing works. Anything with sales obviously has a particular sales period. So with network marketing you usually have your month. So it's like, you know, it would be from the start of the month to the first until the end of the month and your sales volume would have to happen within that month. Otherwise you wouldn't qualify for your bonuses. So you pretty much could like coast on buy. But the difference of you coasting could mean a couple thousand dollars worth of bonuses. So you basically had to go balls to the wall every single month. And what was interesting is when you felt like that you would achieve a goal and you would be like, actually, I think I could go for this next bonus. Or I am really close to like a rank advancement. Let me actually push and go and get this. And what was really interesting is the people that gave up because they felt like that they didn't have enough time, versus the people that were like, we still have a whole day. I can go and follow people up. There are so many sales that could be circulating me right now. And what's really interesting with this is, you know, a lot of the themes that we talk about in this podcast are really around identity change and standards and how I have spoken to you before about how, if you want some, like a dramatically different life. That is gonna be also a dramatically different identity, but how a lot of us want a dramatically different result, but we are still using like an old identity. And it's funny, it's like we, we orient and we look forward, but we actually are still in a way looking back, being like, well. I can't make this happen in two days because you look at every other two day period in the past. Instead of telling yourself that you get to create all of this new evidence about what you can do in two days you wanna make sure that you don't end up in this Groundhog Day in business. And this is something that I've had periods in my business and you know, it's find a coast. But where it's not fine is if you say that you want a different result and if you're gonna do all of these things, and if you want growth, but the actions within your business and the beliefs you have, say otherwise. You would see this in network marketing where people would say that they were gonna like rank advance in a particular month, and there would be a couple days left of the month and they're like, well, it's obviously not gonna happen. I have no classes booked. I'll just wait for the next month. What's so interesting is it's like they take their foot off the gas even instead of preparing for the next month, it's like, they're like, let me just sit and relax and I'll start on January 1st, and it would be this cycle that would just keep fucking repeating. And it was interesting when I started this, I had really fast growth within that company, and when people asked me how I was growing, fun fact, they thought that I was exchanging sexual favors for essential oils. Like, come on guys, we're gonna be selling the big fucking kits. Then. I would've been diamond in a month if that was the case. But it's really interesting that you would ha, you would see people that would be the same rank for years and years and years, and it's because. You are gonna end up with the same month every single month unless something changes. And I think we correlate time with having what we want, but having what we want always comes back to our identity and what we choose to do in the moment and our next move. That is all it is. So you can see here how if you've said, Hey, I wanna make $50,000 this month. I am currently at 25. We only have three days of the month left. There are going to be two groups of people. The people that are like, well, I'll do it next month, and maybe they're like, well, I'm never gonna make this work. Or maybe they're like, yeah, I'm trying. They're telling you that. And they're just doing the most lukewarm fucking posts. They are not following anyone up. They're not sending emails. You got those people. And then you have the people that are like, holy shit, I only have to sell $25,000 more. Think of all of the work that I've done in the past. Think of all of the sales conversations that I've had. Think of all of the leads that I have had convos with. I just need to close like two of 'em. Do I think I can sell to two people ab, absolutely. I'm gonna go do that now. And instead of thinking that they need time to make it happen, they look at the fact that the only thing they need to make their goal happen. Is them an action, right? They don't need time. They just need them doing some particular activities within their business to go and do the thing. And this literally changed my fucking life because you know, if you see that a bonus is so close to you and it's going to be taken away, unless you sell a thousand dollars more of stuff, you will do everything you can to make that work. And you know what? Sometimes you get your goal, sometimes you don't get your goal, but. The hard work is never lost. You know, it's not like these sales conversations don't just. You know, disappear into thin air. You could be priming someone so they're ready to work with you in like two or three months time. It was the same in network marketing. It is the same in this business. So what I wanna say is, if you look at a period of time and you convince yourself that you can't make it work, I want you to get really clear on what belief system are you operating from? Is that past you? Or is this future you? Because the problem is if you are running your business and you are future planning on all of your past beliefs and your past identity, guess what? Bitch? You are gonna end up with the same business. So if you tell me I can't make this work because look at what I've done in the past. Why are we bringing past stuff into a future business? If you tell me you wanna be completely different, have a completely different business, be a completely different person, what? What are we even looking at the past for? This is where you get to stop and you get to be like, what way am I facing? Am I facing the future that I want? Or am I looking back at the past being like, well, there's no way I can make this work because this is what I've done in the past. You are designing your future by looking backwards, and we cannot do that. And I think sometimes the nicest thing that you can do for your future self is to actually fill your evidence bag with as much as you can. But the only way that you can fill your evidence bag is to go and get evidence. so what I'm gonna say to you is how many times do you write off the month, write off the week, or even the day, and you wait until a clean slate because that's a fucking trap. What you wanna do is, you know, my whole thing is it's like, well, life can be face fucking me, but I still wanna win. I don't know about you, but I don't only wanna win on a Monday. I don't only wanna win at the start of a new month. I wanna win all the time. I want life to be bad, and I want amazing things to still But if you keep slamming the brakes on and stopping because you're like, well, it can't happen because of this, or I'm so far away, or look at what I've done in the past, you are always going to be someone that is never even touching. Your potential because you are continually being confined by what you have done in the past. And you will get to another end of the year and you will be disappointed. And I don't want that for you. Fuck. I don't want that for me. So what I want you to look at here is I want you to look at an area of your business where you continually tell yourself that you don't have enough time. Or you are waiting for that fresh start. What is it? Is it the income goal that you keep declaring? Is it the changes that you are gonna make in business? Where do you do this? if you say, okay, I'm gonna make five grand today, what's your next move? Are you like, I don't know what I'm gonna do. Do you sit, do you procrastinate? Do you like, well, hold on, let me do a little pre-roll. Let me like doom scroll for like 10 minutes and then I'll go do it. Do you declare on stories? Do you go to stories? Oh my gosh, you're gonna do something major in my business today? You know what? Why don't we pause that and why don't we celebrate at the end? We don't wanna get the claps before we've done the thing. Otherwise. Guess what? You're gonna be like, awesome. I feel good. I feel celebrated. Oh wait, I've got what I needed. No, we're not doing that anymore. What we are doing is we are declaring something and we are moving forward. We're gonna say that we're gonna do something and then we are gonna have the action present. And we are gonna be fine with the outcome either way, because here's the thing, it's not about going and making the income goal that you want. Like sure, that would be amazing. That is an incredible byproduct of action that will eventually pay off. But it is showing yourself the thoughts that come up and what action happens. And it is going to give you an indication of things that you've maybe been un, like I'm gonna say, that have gone, that you've been unconscious about. Because this is already happening in business. All we're doing now is we're adding a bit more awareness. So you are finally going to see, oh, hey, isn't this really interesting? When I feel like I don't have enough time and then I say, I am gonna do something, how I actually. Even though I say I don't have enough time and I can't do this, I go and I waste time doing all of these other things. Like I go and you know, scroll I want you to think about how long you've been listening to my podcast, and I want you to get clear on have I actually made a change? Am I always waiting to begin? Am I always waiting for Monday or a fresh week, So what we get to do now is we get to show ourself a new way of doing things. We get to add some shit to the Evidence bag, and we get to go and do it. Hot stuff. We get to go and do it. I love this. I love you. I love you more than, um, my cute little outfit. I've gone on like a brown halterneck dress. From Cook Eye, I think it is the Lenny Maxi dress. Maybe. I have got four of them. I've got two in the black. I've got one in the brown and I've got one in the red, and I always get compliments on it. It's really nice. It's kind of like ties to the back. It's backless. It's big boob friendly. I love like the Cook Eye jersey material as well, so fucking good. So love you more than that. I love you more than my beautiful friends. I went out with my friend Emma, from the Broke generation, and Janine last night we went out for dinner, but I will say, oh my God, sorry. There was like an hour and 45 minutes seating, I, I will, I'll be honest. You know, we did kind of send our waiter away a couple times because we were still like looking at the menu, but then there was like this period of space between like having our starters and them sitting there and then our mains came. And we didn't really have our mains for that long and we were still eating. And then our waiter came up and he was like, Hey, we need this table in 15 minutes so we can give you some takeaway containers. And it almost got like comical at the end because I'm still eating the Greek salad as he's literally clearing the food off the table. And I've got my fork and I'm like forking the olives out of the bowl. Do you know what's so interesting? I would happily pay more. I would pay more to sit there and not be kicked out. If he had come up and said, you can sit at the table for another 15 minutes and it's $50, I would've been like, awesome. Sold. I wanna relax, I wanna eat in peace. I don't wanna feel like I'm fucking rushed. but I will say, guys, you know, I know that some of you have this like money block where you feel like that people won't pay for things. There is always gonna be someone who's gonna pay for something. For me, I love my spaciousness. I love my time. I hate. To be rushed. Please do not rush me. I like to kind of do things at my own pace, especially eat, I can't chow down food. I like, you know what Lady of Leisure, and I'm pretty sure like you are meant to do that when you eat. Like you can't like, like chow food down because doesn't your body process that like you're being chased by a tiger or something? Look, I don't even fucking know. I think I'm shit talking now, but the food was very good. We had this like little. It was like this like little deep fried potato baked thing with some stuff on top. The focaccia was good. It came with this like honey butter though. But the honey butter, like the butter was very buttercream. It tasted like buttercream. It was almost like a little bit too on the sweet side. And then when we said, can we just get normal butter? They're like, we don't have that. And I'm like, how do they get this honey butter? Like, where are the raw ingredients? This makes no sense to me. But anyway. Love you more than, I think I look good today. I look good today. I'm sitting in the meeting room feeling important. Got my tits out. My hair is straight. Sunglasses on. I'm getting my nails done this week. Uh, I don't know if you can hear that. Probably not because when I edit the podcast I put this like filter over the top of it. So I'm doing my little nail cls and I do like my little, can you hear that? The whole podcast. I'm basically doing that. You can't hear any of it. I feel like there would be more SAS if we had the little now clack, but that's okay. Hot stuff. One day when the podcast is huge and I have a whole sound production team. We will keep that in. But for today it is still me doing all the things, being hot, being fabulous, and guess what? Hot stuff. I'm about to record another episode for you. So guess what? I'll see you there.
